Vancouver:
LW - Loui Eriksson $6.00
RW/C - Sam Gagner $3.15
G - Anders Nilsson $2.50

Ottawa:
RW - Bobby Ryan $7.25
G - Mike Condon $2.40
LW - Nick Paul $0.650

Titties

1.) 07 Dec 2018 02:23:51
Why tho.

2.) 07 Dec 2018 05:16:54
Loui Eriksson isn’t working out in Vancouver and likewise for Bobby Ryan in Ottawa. Loui eriksson has a back diving contract, Ryan doesn’t so I could see Ottawa taking a chance on Eriksson. Even if he doesn’t work out he will be half the salary than Bobby Ryan. Benning is looking to move Gagner out, When Gagner gets sent to the AHL he is loaned to Toronto marlies to be closer to his family. So either playing in Ottawa or Belleville it is much closer than Vancouver.

3.) 07 Dec 2018 17:21:09
Didn't know le was still playing.

4.) 08 Dec 2018 13:08:39
1st off 6 million isn't half of 7.25 million lol

2nd Ryan has done more for Ottawa that Erickson has done for Vancouver, and Ryan has been off and on for years while Erikson hasn't looked good since his 1st year or 2 in Boston, I think I speak for most sens fans when I say I'd rather keep Ryan than take on more salary like in this deal when the players involved aren't worth mentioning, why take on an extra 2 million in unwanted salary? All that does is make it tougher to move more players.

Ottawa:
RW - Bobby Ryan $7.25
G - Mike Condon $2.40
C - Filip Chlapik $0.728

Carolina:
G - Cory Schneider $6.00
D - Ben Lovejoy $2.67
LW - Eric Tangradi $0.650

Titties

1.) 24 Nov 2018 22:43:32
Not a chance from (New Jersey) not carolina

20 Nov 2018 18:55:59
Vancouver:
LD - Alex Edler $5.00 (Retain 50%)

Winnipeg:
C - Nic Petan $0.874
Conditional Pick (3rd in 2020 but if WPG wins the cup turns into 2019 2nd)

Titties

1.) 20 Nov 2018 19:46:08
I think Van would probably want more.

2.) 20 Nov 2018 20:40:41
That’s better value than last week when PuprleFart was saying Nylander for Edler lol.

3.) 21 Nov 2018 05:10:32
Kind of depends on if vancouvers believes that they need picks to rebuild or if they think that they might have a chance and their view of petan. He does look better this year. Still don't like him but there could be hope.

16 Nov 2018 05:18:23
New York Islanders:
RW - Jordan Eberle $6.00
LW - Brock Nelson $4.25
G - Thomas Greiss 3.33
1st Round Draft Pick 2019
2nd Round Draft Pick 2020

Columbus:
G - Sergei Bobrovsky $7.34
RW - Artemi Panarin $6.00
C - Nathan Gerbe $0.675

Titties

1.) 16 Nov 2018 14:48:02
Not even close for both Bob and Pan.

2.) 16 Nov 2018 19:54:09
I think if you’re talking about a resigned Panarin and Bob than this is way off, but if CBJ knows they’re going to lose both and are desperate to get SOMETHING, then it isn’t too bad.

3.) 17 Nov 2018 06:22:59
Kinda wierd proposal here. Most teams trade their UFA’s for picks/ prospects, not for another teams pending UFA’s.

Columbus definitely says no. If they are going for a cup this year, they will be wanting Bobrovsky in net. A hot goalie can take a team all the way, and who better to take a chance on than the goalie who is widely regarded by most to be the best in the league right now, and just so happens to be your own starting goalie?

4.) 17 Nov 2018 15:46:08
CLB is currently sitting 1st in their division and T5 in overall league standings. Think they will just roll with Pan man and Goalie Bob for the season now? Unless they take a huge stumble and are well out of the playoffs at deadline?

Think they trade ether then two or one of them during the season IF they continue to be top 3 in their division?
Interesting to watch how that goes down. Both have big value as rentals. 1st++ for both.

5.) 17 Nov 2018 15:46:27
1++ each I meant.

6.) 17 Nov 2018 18:59:26
I think letting those 2 walk for free, even if you’re a playoff team, is crazy. Trading your 2 best players (or 2 of the best 3 with Seth Jones) when you’re a playoff team would suck, but getting knocked out in the first or second round and get nothing would be far worse to me. I truly believe the Tavares signing is going to change a lot of GMs thinking on this kind of thing. Unless you’re a legit contender and can afford to see a guy like that walk, stars will be traded if an extension isn’t done by the trade deadline. With the leafs roster we were able to use guys like JVr and bozak as ‘own rentals’ but the jackets don’t have the leafs depth and JVR and Bozak are not Panarin/ Bobrovsky. Seguin would have been in the same boat and I bet he would have been traded come February if he didn’t sign.

Dependant on Karlsson wanting to resign long-term in Edmonton.

Ottawa:
RD - Erik Karlsson $6.50

Edmonton:
C - Ryan Nugent-Hopkins $6.00
LW - Milan Lucic $6.00
RW - Jesse Puljujarvi $0.925
LW - Tyler Benson $0.808
1st Round Draft Pick 2018 (10)

Titties

1.) 14 Jun 2018 21:07:24
Lmfao bruh.

2.) 14 Jun 2018 22:08:40
Big overpayment IMO.

3.) 14 Jun 2018 22:16:55
Not too bad tbh, if that's for EK resigned. Lucic negates a good amount of value with no retention imo, basically negates less value than Pul; then RNH, Benson, 10 and a little value for Pulj for EK.

TBH, its not that bad.
And I’m just saying, remember when Chicago dumped Bickell? It cost them Teuvo, a 50@60 point winger now. Pulj probabky has a bit more value than Teuvo did at that time, but Lucics contract is far longer than Bickells at the time. sure he's more servicable but in the future he could actually become Bickell 2.0. So tbh, saying Lucic at full cap negates most of Puljs value isn’t an overstatement.

4.) 15 Jun 2018 11:30:54
You forgot to add Ryan and maybe batherson to even it back out. the rest of the trade is good but no way ottawa takes on another bad contract without dumping a big one of their own. so it's either add batherson and Ryan or just add gaborik.

Titties

No team is touching that Phaneuf contract!

2.) 15 Dec 2017 15:15:54
Correct me if i'm wrong, but although Phaneuf's contract is for $7M, don't the leafs have a large chunk of that retained? I thought he was only around $4M against the cap. I could be wrong though.

If Canucks decide to be sellers at the deadline:

Ottawa:
G - Andrew Hammond $1.35
4th Round Draft Pick 2017

Vancouver:
LW - Alex Burrows $4.50

----

St. Louis:
LW - Nail Yakupov $2.50
3rd Round Draft Pick 2017

Vancouver:
G - Ryan Miller $6.00

----

Montreal:
LW - Jacob De La Rose $0.894
2nd Round Draft Pick 2018

Vanvouer:
RW - Jannik Hansen $2.50

----

+++ CBJ likely to give up the 2nd Round Draft Pick for Tortorella Compensation

D. Sedin - H. Sedin - Eriksson
Baertschi - Horvat - Yakupov
Granlund - Sutter - Megna
Boucher - Chaput - Skille

Edler - Stecher
Sbisa - Tanev
Hutton - Tryamkin

Markstrom - Hammond

Titties

1.) 10 Feb 2017 21:48:42
Those players are cheap!

2.) 11 Feb 2017 11:25:18
Hammond? No way man!
Don't mind the Miller and Hansen trades. although I don't want Yakupov in Vancouver. Rather give Boucher the chance or just call up Virtanen. also Boeser should be ready next year and will be a top 6 RW for us so Yak is a no.

14 Nov 2016 23:27:06
As a base:

Vancouver:
RHD - Chris Tanev $4.50

Calgary:
RHD - Dougie Hamilton $5.75

------

Vancouver D:

Edler - Hamilton
Hutton - Gudbranson
Sbisa - Tryamkin

------

Calgary D:

Giordano - Tanev
Brodie - Wideman
Kulak - Engelland

------

Chris Tanev is a Defensive Defensman.
Dougie Hamilton is a Offensive Defensman.

Jim Benning knows Dougie Hamilton very well (Drafted him in Boston) .
Glen Gulutzan knows Chris Tanev very well (Coached him in Vancouver) .

Vancouver has Edler, Gudbranson and Hutton to match up against and fill in defensively for the loss of Tanev.
Calgary has Giordano, Brodie and Wideman that can make up for the offensive loss of Hamilton.

Vancouver needs to add legit top-4 offensive defensman.
Calgary needs to add legit top-4 defensive defensman to match up against other teasm top lines and allow giordano and brodie to have more offensive minutes.

Titties

1.) 15 Nov 2016 01:05:15
No way from Calgary.

2.) 16 Nov 2016 19:54:19
I'd say no from Calgary. Not unless Kylington can really speed up his process.

30 Sep 2016 16:11:18

cap dump/ cap casualty depends on how you see it.

I might be in the minority here, but I like the trade mainly because Vancouver absolutely stole Hoglander with their 2nd rdp. This guy is a stud. He’s a Swedish copy of Brendan Gallagher. He’s going to push for a spot this up coming season and if he doesn’t make the opening night roster he can play right away in the AHL. What a steal!

No from Ottawa for sure.

Duchene>1st
Ceci>Murphy

I'm assuming that Edmonton would get better from this trade and the 1st wouldn't be a lottery pick.

There is no way Dorion could get that good of a return for Duchene.

I agree with Charles, If Anaheim can't get Bieksa to waive his NMC or trade him. I see them protecting 4-4.

Vancouver Canucks conisder Tryamkin to be a very valuable prospect. There is no way they will trade him. Either they develop him into something valuable or let him go back to the KHL and retain his rights.
