Since Isles have a ton of cap room and Anders Lee is Hurt maybe they would take on Tatar. They said they are looking to add to their cap.

to Isles:
Tomas Tatar

To Habs
Bode Wilde, 2nd Rd 2021

Mtl: Petry, Byron

Carolina: Necas, Bean, and Gauthier

or

Mtl: Petry Byron

Vegas: Hague, Kreps, Glass

Montreal says yes to both. Carolina and Vegas both say no.

2.) 24 Jan 2020 20:39:58
Easy easy no’s.

3.) 25 Jan 2020 04:32:33
Laughable offers.

4.) 25 Jan 2020 07:07:00
When did Petry turn into Victor Hedman?

5.) 25 Jan 2020 12:11:47
Some of these prospect the other team wouldn’t even trade straight up for Petry. Like Glass is not a guy you trade at all. He’s a future number 1 center.

Lets say Habs Move Petry...(I know lot of you love him and he does have value so you could get something for him) Like couple good prospects ready to make the jump. So let's Say they make that trade.

I would like see them make a move of MTL: Kotkiniemi, Lehkonen, and couple picks/Prospects
to Wild because they are looking at shedding payroll and rebuilding

Wild: Dumba and Zucker

Dumba replaces petry on the RD, Zucker is a solid 2nd line LW to play with Domi and Armia, and let Suzuki Center the 3rd line.

No chance Montreal makes this deal.

We All know Leafs need a backup, plus they also need a future as Andersen "possibly" gone after next season.

Tor: Charlie Lindgren

Mon: Jeremy Bracco

Price is signed forever so no real place for Lindgren to move up, Same with Bracco, team is pretty much full, kind of a win win.

Not bad but again I think desmith is better option. They could ask for Jarry but that going to cost huge.

2.) 30 Nov 2019 13:20:13
No from the leafs they won’t move Bracco, Lilijgren or Sandin unless it’s an add on for a top rental or core piece.

3.) 30 Nov 2019 15:39:34
Yeah, so where exactly do Bracco fit in? with the young signed talent they already have>? He will be 23 in Mar and yet to crack the lineup. He really has no where to move up unless the leafs trade away players they just signed to extensions. Lindgren is a fine goalie just needs a shot he could be a number one down the road

4.) 30 Nov 2019 20:36:53
I could see Leafs trading Kapanen or Johnsson and boosting Bracco up to the big club. Cap reasons alone might make it necessary. The only “untouchable” in the system right now is Dubas’ pet project Sandin.

5.) 30 Nov 2019 22:10:55
Not sure lindgren would be a huge upgrade on the leafs current situation if I’m honest. I am a Habs fan.

6.) 01 Dec 2019 03:57:12
I am a Habs fan too, he may or may not be an upgrade. in 2018 these guys a lot of people never gave much thought to as back ups, but now pretty much starters and quality starters. Carter Hutton, Darcy Keumper, Phillipe Grubauer to name a few. Sometimes a kid just needs a chance to play and the LEafs don't really have anyone

7.) 01 Dec 2019 13:11:33
Don’t forget Binnington’s amazing cling to the nhl last year to become a bonafide starter and lead his team to cup victory.

8.) 02 Dec 2019 21:20:29
If Lindgren was any good he would be on the Habs bench, but because of a drop in play they had to go sign Kinkaid instead.

To Dallas
Petry, Lehkonen, Hudon

To Montreal
John Klingberg, Jason Robertson

Petry Klingberg pretty much same player, both favourable contracts, Klingberg is better defensively, Petry has bit more grit, Klingberg little more offensive(albeit having a slow start this year) Klingberg helps Habs PP. Lehkonen solid 2 way player who might excel in Dallas. Robertson is a young talent that still helps the Habs future.

1.) 24 Nov 2019 15:16:47
Ew lmao Klingburg is worth anyone on Montreal slow start considered.

2.) 24 Nov 2019 17:14:37
No? Have you seen his career numbers? Career + in +/-, consistent over 40 pts, not sure what you see that he isn't worth anyone on Montreal

3.) 24 Nov 2019 17:33:22
He’s one of the best offensive Dman in the game sure he’s having a very rough start but he’ll bounce back.

4.) 24 Nov 2019 18:17:23
I'm probably the number 1 Canadiens fan on this site with Sosa and Thunder, even I say Dallas dosnt even consider. Mayne if Petry was like 26.

5.) 24 Nov 2019 18:53:41
No Maybe they don't but maybe they see a different avenue for playoffs a different makeup of a team they still have 2 young studs on the back end for yrs to come Esa Lindell, and Heiskanen, maybe not Lehkonan maybe someone else gets it done.

6.) 24 Nov 2019 21:36:52
Lindell will get traded before Klingberg. Of that I’m sure. He will bring a handsome return too. In fact, if it was Lindell and not Klingberg here then this trade would have some legs to it.

The next Barkov? hahaha c'mon dude, I am a Habs fan but KK isn't close to same caliber hockey player Barkov is. Barkov can actually skate. KK will be a solid 3rd line center. In the right trade I would move KK

I agree if Buffalo is going to tear it all down and build, I think this time they would do it from the back end out. They tried for 4 years to build around Eichel, it just didn't take. Eichel along with others would bring back picks and prospects they would need to rebuild. I actually think Buffalo would be wise to move Eichel.

I wouldn't mind Anderson, however, we have two Right hand RW now, unless you get him for 3rd line
