Just stop! The first one is a huge overpayment! Jesse 1st round pick, mcdavids sidekick kassian for a rental?!

Btw drai play first line with mcdavid not RnH.

2.) 19 Jul 2019 15:17:27
Too much for Kriender replace the 1st with a 2nd and Take our kassian but I like the idea and I like the 2nd Trade good post and Swechamps right.

Alexander Wennberg to CGY for Mark Jankowski & Third Round Draft Pick

Andreas Athanasiou to CGY for Sam Bennett & Oliver Kylington

Who adds or are they fair value

Sean Moneyhands

1.) 14 Jul 2019 21:35:31
Wennberg could be had for very little. Maybe Calgary adds a 1st and Detroit adds a 2nd.

2.) 14 Jul 2019 23:52:17
I agree vbb

14 Jul 2019 10:44:12
The Montreal Canadiens acquire C Brandon Sutter & 2020 Fourth Round Draft Pick from the Vancouver Canucks in exchange for a 2021 Sixth Round Draft Pick

MTL has the Cap Space and a need at Center, VAN needs cap space to sign Boeser.

Sutter ( 4.37 @ 2YR )

The Ottawa Senators acquire RW Loui Eriksson, 2020 Third Round Draft Pick & D Nikita Tryamkin from the Vancouver Canucks in exchange for LW Zack Smith

VAN sheds another cap dump and gains a solid bottom 6 player for the penalty kill.

Eriksson ( 6.0M @ 3YR )
Smith ( 3.25M @ 2YR )

The Edmonton Oilers acquire D Olli Juolevi from the Vancouver Canucks in exchange for RW Jesse Puljujärvi

Puljujärvi gets a change of scenery and Oilers get another defencemen prospect who has potential to be a top 4 defencemen.

Vancouver Canucks Projected Lines :

J.T Miller - Elias Pettersson - Brock Boeser

Sven Baertschi - Bo Horvat - Micheal Ferland

Tanner Pearson - Adam Gaudette - Jesse Puljujärvi

Zack Smith - Jay Beagle - Jake Virtanen

Alex Edler - Troy Stecher

Quinn Hughes - Chris Tanev

Jordie Benn - Tyler Myers

Sean Moneyhands

1.) 14 Jul 2019 13:39:15
MTL does not want Sutter and does not have the cap space for Sutter.

2.) 14 Jul 2019 15:08:04
That's only half true mantra they do have the cap space.

3.) 14 Jul 2019 16:25:06
We’re not trading Tryamkin to get rid of Eriksson, don’t listen to the media; we’re not actually under a cap crunch. Once we send a couple players down and put Roussel on LTIR we have more than enough space to sign everyone and more than enough time to trade a player to free up a couple mil in space without overpaying to dump a player needlessly.

Also, Juolevi>>Pulj. Everyone seems to love talking about Juolevi when they know nothing about him. Juolevi has been killing it and was a lock to make the Canucks roster last year before an unfortunate injury. Pulj has been an absolute bust at the NHL level, and is a total problem off the ice. Who’s to say he’d want to play for the Canucks if we don’t give him everything he wants? For all I know he’ll say trade me or I’m running back to Europe if we don’t give him the ice time HE thinks he’s worth. So no. Oilers can keep Pulj.

4.) 14 Jul 2019 16:57:50
Oilers don't need Juolevi they got better D prospects.

5.) 14 Jul 2019 23:06:01
Habby MTL does not have the cap space to start taking cap dumps and only getting late picks for the favor. We got rid of Shaw to save 4 million (3.9) so why take more for a worse player and only get a 3 Rd pick? Why?

6.) 15 Jul 2019 00:18:26
That's why I said your statement was half true they do have the cap space they just don't want sutter.

14 Jul 2019 10:42:53
I have trades i created. What do you think?

Edmonton Oilers acquire RW Melker Karlsson from the San Jose Sharks in exchange for RD Matt Benning.

Melker Karlsson ( 2M @ 1YR )

Matt Benning ( 1.9M @ 1YR )

Edmonton Oilers acquire RD David Savard & RW Oliver Bjorkstrand from the Columbus Blue Jackets in exchange for RW Jesse Puljujärvi, LD Kris Russell & 2020 First Round Draft Pick.

Oliver Bjorkstrand ( 2.5M @ 2YR )
David Savard ( 4.25M @ 2YR )

Kris Russell ( 4M @ 2YR )
Jesse Puljujärvi ( RFA )

Edmonton Oilers acquire RW Loui Eriksson from the Vancouver Canucks in exchange for LW Milan Lucic & 2020 Third Round Draft Pick.

Loui Eriksson ( 6M @ 3YR )

Milan Lucic ( 6M @ 4YR )

Edmonton Oilers Projected Lines :

Leon Draisaitl - Connor McDavid - Oliver Bjorkstrand

Alex Chiasson - Ryan Nugent-Hopkins - Loui Eriksson

Jujhar Khaira - Markus Granlund - Melker Karlsson

Joakim Nygard - Gaetan Haas - Sam Gagner

Oscar Klefbom - Adam Larsson

Darnell Nurse - David Savard

Ethan Bear - Evan Bouchard

Sean Moneyhands

1.) 14 Jul 2019 14:34:40
They’d be adding more then a 3rd it’d be more likely that’d they’re both traded at 50% retained and both bought out immediately with Edmonton obviously adding a good piece like Puljujarvi or maybe a protected 1st.

2.) 14 Jul 2019 17:05:14
Eriksson already said no to a oilers trade at the deadline.

3.) 14 Jul 2019 21:28:55
It’s going to take A LOT more than a third to swap Lucic for Eriksson. First, Lucic has an extra year. Secondly, and the most important thing is due to contracts, because of Lucic’s contract, we would have to protect him in the expansion draft whereas with Eriksson we don’t need to do that, we can leave him exposed and protect someone actually important.

Benning has really been planning ahead for the expansion draft making sure every player he gets (including Myers and elder) don’t have to be protected in the e-draft.

So for that reason alone, Eriksson>>>Lucic.

14 Jul 2019 05:12:56
What do you think? Would you do it from a Leafs/Lightning perspective?

Maple Leafs acquire D Erik Cernak & RW Mathieu Jospeh from the Lightning in exchange for RW William Nylander

To Leafs -
• RD Erik Cernak (ELC x 1YR)
• RW Mathieu Joseph (ELC x 1YR)

To Lightning -
• RW William Nylander (6.962 @ 5YR)

Cernak might get a raise of 3.85M @ 4-6YR when his contract expires, Joseph maybe gets around 3M or a bridge deal. Leafs get cap space to upgrade their roster and Tampa gets a proven Top 6 RW.

Tampa Bay Lightning also would have enough cap for this trade. Obviously they would have to make some moves to sign Brayden Point which they are in the process of moving players like Tyler Johnson & Alex Killorn.

Maple Leafs Projected Lines :

Zach Hyman - John Tavares - Mitch Marner

Andreas Johnsson - Auston Matthews - Kasperi Kapanen

Trevor Moore - Alexander Kerfoot - Mathieu Joseph

Nic Petan - Jason Spezza - Nick Shore

Morgan Rielly - Tyson Barrie

Jake Muzzin - Erik Cernak

Timothy Liljegren - Cody Ceci

Sean Moneyhands

1.) 14 Jul 2019 06:03:13
The Lightning don't touch this. Nylander is good, don't get me wrong, but #1 this will cause more cap trouble in the future, #2 why help out a division rival? and especially #3 TB absolutely needs Cernak, he's been superb in his rookie year last season and is a great fit next to McDonagh in the Top 4. Joseph is a speedy winger, obv not as talented as Nylander is, but I could still see him get 50+ if he plays on a scoring line consistenly, he has the speed and finishing ability to match there.

2.) 14 Jul 2019 06:16:48
Tb is pretty weak on rd already. And also point needs signing so not a chance they add a pricey forward. I think if anything they trade a forword for a cheaper rd to get point signed.

3.) 14 Jul 2019 06:21:26
And also point is worth a lot more than nylander so signing point is a lot more important than trading for a lesser forword.

4.) 14 Jul 2019 15:34:34
Ya Tampa gets the best player but Nylander is kinda redundant for them and they probably have the cap to sign Point now but would definitely need to move more if they add Nylander. This trade has them trading from a weakness to add to a strength, to then need to trade from that strength for cap relief.

5.) 14 Jul 2019 16:16:33
No from both teams not bad tho no because of Cap from Tampa and value wise Tampa adds a pick I’d try for Vancouvers 1st.

6.) 14 Jul 2019 16:20:08
Tampa is just as high or cernak as they are on serg obviously different players but they really love that kid.

7.) 14 Jul 2019 17:07:21
Tampa already lost a couple d men this off season. They don’t do this trade.

What do you guys think of the flames prospects Parsons & Wolf? i'm just seeing where Parsons value sits and Wolfs potential lays.

Sean Moneyhands

1.) 11 Jul 2019 00:22:26
I’m not going to pretend to know who either of those guys are.

2.) 11 Jul 2019 01:50:17
You should.
Parsons was the 2nd best goalie in his draft class and statistically, Wolf is the best goalie in the CHL.
Parsons struggled in the AHL this season but that shouldn’t cause concern as he’s a 21 year old goalie.
Parsons’ potential is a really good backup/ fringe starter imo.
Wolf’s potential and skill is hard to figure out as he was on one of the best teams in the entire CHL and his stats got inflated.

3.) 11 Jul 2019 02:36:33
Haven’t heard of them since their OHL days I guess that means not to much?

4.) 11 Jul 2019 02:49:25
Ty Parons (Former London Knights goalie and Memorial Cup Winner)

Dustin Wolf (Everett Silvertips goalie)

5.) 11 Jul 2019 03:36:38
Imo if Dustin wolf was 6 foot 2 he would have went somewhere in the first 3 rounds. He's a good goalie just small. Also his stats were magnified by playing on a real good defensive team. Tyler parsons is still the better bet to be an nhl goalie he didn't look overly impressive this year but I think after another couple years in Ahl he will be ready to at least assume the back up duties for the flames.

6.) 11 Jul 2019 06:48:04
This is what I love about this site. I don’t know a lot about the young kids and don’t have the time to follow them. You guys seem to have a good judgement on them, unless they put on a jersey you don’t like, lol.

7.) 11 Jul 2019 07:29:51
Hey I like Rasmus sandin and mikko kokkenen from the leafs prospect pool lol.

8.) 11 Jul 2019 07:29:56
Yeah, this site is awesome. For the most part the users are really intelligent and aware of players and their values. Surprisingly hard to find.

9.) 11 Jul 2019 07:34:14
To add, I just saw an Oilers fan say that a Necas for Puljujarvi would be a fair deal and my heart almost exploded with disappointment.

10.) 11 Jul 2019 16:45:43
I don’t even know who Kokkenen is habby. I watch every nhl game I can but I don’t have a lot of time to follow others.

11.) 11 Jul 2019 18:24:41
He was the leafs 3rd round pick this year they got him at 84th I think. which was real good value I had him in my top 45.

12.) 11 Jul 2019 20:57:33
Good to know. I’ll have to look into him.

02 Jul 2019 23:57:28
Montreal offer sheated Aho, and Carolina owner gave GM the green light to offer sheet some of Canadiens RFAs down the road hahah so funny

Sean Moneyhands

1.) 03 Jul 2019 02:07:10
Well, good luck . as we see, won't work.

2.) 03 Jul 2019 03:37:49

3.) 03 Jul 2019 04:15:43
Ooooooo that's scary lol. You do realize we only hear about the offer sheets that are signed right? if you think gms don't talk to agents all the time about this you really don't know how business works. Aho agent has another couple clients on the habs this isn't the first time they have sat down and talked numbers. For all we know don Waddell has already offer sheeted players on Montreal in the past they just didn't sign the offer sheet.

4.) 03 Jul 2019 04:16:37
I’m confused as to why people think Aho has to sign that same deal with Carolina. Is that true? He could still sign say 8 years at 9M, couldn’t he?

5.) 03 Jul 2019 04:59:43
@ebs no he has to sign the exact deal he signed with montreal.

6.) 03 Jul 2019 16:43:18
So he actually signed it? Weird. I wonder what his teammates think.

7.) 03 Jul 2019 17:25:24
They probably think dinners on him for awhile.

8.) 03 Jul 2019 19:23:40
I guess they can’t think too much into it. Offersheets are a weird situation. I feel like he has less control on his contract after all that. I’m assuming if he didn’t sign Montreal’s offer it would expire after a certain amount of time? Otherwise that would’ve been good leverage to use negotiating with Carolina.

9.) 03 Jul 2019 19:52:33
There is really only two ways to look at it either he liked the deal and wanted to sign it or he wanted out of Carolina and he thought by signing it there would be a chance he would get out. If his teammates think it's the 2nd thing then yeah they might be a bit uneasy around him for a few days. I actually think it's the 1st option where he liked the contract and he knew either it would force carolinas hand to get a deal done quickly or he would be in Montreal getting paid that contract.

10.) 04 Jul 2019 12:25:02
You don’t sign an easy to match offer sheet for 5 years if you want out. If you want out you do you’re best to get a one year deal while demanding a trade. Last thing you’d want is to be locked in for 5 years.

11.) 04 Jul 2019 15:38:50
1 year deal? Demand a trade? What does that have to do with anything? He is probably content in Carolina but you have to admit he would have been just as content in Montreal or he wouldn't even have signed the contract. there was a chance Carolina wouldn't match even if it was just a very small chance. I mean he could have demanded a trade even without the contract if he really wanted out of Carolina I'm just stating what it really is and that is he would have been just as content playing out that contract in montreal.

12.) 05 Jul 2019 13:20:32
You literally said one of the reasons to sign was because he wanted out of Carolina. This is an easy to match deal. It’s the kind of deal you sign to hurry up the process not to get out. That’s all I said, that he wasn’t looking to get out. 1 year deal, hold out comments were directly related to your comment about him possibly wanting out of Carolina. Content in Montreal, sure but with this deal I don’t think he was looking to jump at a chance to leave Carolina or anything like that, nor do I think Bergevins “he wants to be a Canadien” spiel is all that accurate. He wanted 8.4 mill and FA asap, and this got him that. Montreal was the first team to offer, not his dream destination.

13.) 05 Jul 2019 17:05:58
I actually said he signed it cause he liked the deal which is obvious. My reason for the other option was just as a possible reason for my people would think it was for some other reason. But the one year contract thing is more bizarre then anything else that was said on the entire thread. do anyone ever sign a one year deal when they have a choice? He or no other player would go to that approach even if they wanted out. That would potentially be career suicide as it stands he is now set for life.

14.) 05 Jul 2019 19:21:32
Why people not my people lol.

02 Jul 2019 00:47:10
Zach Hyman - John Tavares - Mitch Marner

Andreas Johnsson - Auston Matthews - William Nylander

Tyler Ennis - Alex Kerfoot - Kasperi Kapanen

Nic Petan - Jason Spezza - Nick Shore

Morgan Rielly - Tyson Barrie

Jake Muzzin - Cody Ceci

Travis Dermott - Ben Harpur

This team looks legit. I think they are going to go far this year. Maybe even to the Stanley Cup finals.

Sean Moneyhands

1.) 02 Jul 2019 01:37:45
lol Ennis is on the senators. Barrie won’t play with Rielly. Kerfoot will be a LW and Spezza will take the 3C spot.

2.) 02 Jul 2019 15:42:02
Ennis is on Ottawa, Agostino will probably be there. Still no grit.

01 Jul 2019 22:22:32
Columbus just lost some fans... Duchene, Panarin & Bobrovsky are all gone damn. I feel for columbus fans

Sean Moneyhands

1.) 01 Jul 2019 22:40:28
Yeah but nobody can say they didn’t see it coming.

2.) 01 Jul 2019 23:32:52
They also didn’t do much to replace guys. Lehner only signed for a year I wonder why or if CBJ offered him multi years.

30 Jun 2019 06:26:16
Man i literaly posted a kessel to az trade including Joseph and Galchenyuk & 1st and everybody said unbelievable.. you can look back at it.. damn feels bad that all yall thought it was unbelievable lol

Sean Moneyhands

1.) 30 Jun 2019 07:29:26

2.) 30 Jun 2019 16:53:26
Well if you posted Hall for Larsson a few years ago I’m sure everyone would have clicked on unbelievable.

The truth is, sometimes unbelievably one-sided trades occur.

That said, with history proving your proposal correct, I say kudos and tip my hat to you.

3.) 30 Jun 2019 18:04:19
Some people clicked unbelievable cause they didn't think kessel would wave his no trade clause to go to Arizona.

4.) 30 Jun 2019 18:47:49
I probably voted unbelievable because Arizona with Kessel are still trash and can’t afford to give a 1st rd pick that could be Lafranier. They didn’t give the 1st which is potentially more Valuable then Kessel, Chucky And POJ combined.
