1. Mtl was about to trade Gorges for only Franson's rights, no way he only gets you a 3rd. I hate Toronto but that just makes no sense.
2. It should be Mason for Niemi and Nieto. Mason is in his prime, Niemi is just loosing it.

Montreal will ruin tokarski if they play him in the AHL again and no one wants budaj so this is the solution, also he won't be part of a kane trade because montreal has barely any cap and they will need to give up galchenyuk, which bergevin will NOT do! he's our future centre!

i don't see how another year in the AHL would "ruin" tokarski.
2.) Value seems fair IMO but I have a hard time seeing wpg moving high picks at the moment.
3.) No one in Montreal wants to keep Budaj, but every other team would prefer you to keep him. Easier competition.

IMO I don't see the Preds lines going down like that.
7.) I don't think you can call Hayes a good goal scorer when he's never played an nhl season. He has good potential but not a top 6 foward
8.) I can see why Nashville wants him but he's most likely going to sign with Boston or Calagry (Nashville is his 3rd choice I believe). He stated that he wants to compete for a roster spot with a team. Boston would definatley be a challenge for him to make the team(I think if he signs he'd be a good replacement for Thornton on the 4th line, not as an enforcer though). And for Calgary his line mates from BC are there so If he wants to play with them he would sign with Calgary.
9.) ^^^Looks like Nashville needs a top 6 center to me, maybe two of them

lol yea hedman is good but putting him ahead of weber, keith, mcdonagh, karlsson, pietrangelo, even subban, isn't very logical.
4.) If hedman continues his solid defense and all around play, gets more pp time and with a healthy stamkos could help increase his point to 55-65 range potentially. Not hard to see him having a good season where he could be a dark horse for Norris voting.

You are right, he is the best dman on the leafs. Problem is, he shouldn't be. He'd be a good #2 or #3 behind a TRUE #1 defensemen like Keith, Doughty, Suter or Weber, but he isn't in the same category as these guys are.
