Who is your guy's sleeper pick to become an all-star this year? (Yes, we have an all-star game again! So pumped) Not Crosby or Gaborik or Rask, but who do you think could come out of the woodwork?

I think Patric Hornqvist could do it. He's in Pittsburgh now, and working on that right side, he'll get playing time with Crosby, Kunitz, and Malkin. It'll be interesting to see who makes it though

I could see Johny Boychuck hitting 35 or 40 points as well as 15 goals being the point man on the Islanders.

I expect him to be on an all star team this year hopefully with 60+ points. He is leading the nhl in points right now with 7.

Simmonds will lead the league in goals, St Louis will win the selke and Keumper will the vezina is my prediction. I mean how can you argue that with how good their stats are right now?

CX what's your problem? Noone is saying that Hedman will continue to average more than 2 points per game from now on.
He will not even average anything close to 1 point per game, most likely. But if he ends up with 60 at seasons end, he is prolly top3 in d scoring and if he gets even better defensively, too, that is another breakout year for him. 2 in a row :)

^^^ Hedman is not much a sleeper IMO. If he's not on people's radar after last year, you weren't pay attention.

@CX Actually Brock Nelson's going to lead the league in goals. He's tied with Crosby, that makes him a legend, right? Some people just get hot at the beginning of the season. If Brock Nelson's still at the same rate in 60 games, then we can talk about this. It's just too early to say some things right now.
