If you could drop one player (with his contract) entirely from your favourite team(s), who would it be?

Jannik Hansen or Brad Richardson. If you had asked me a year ago, I probably would have said Mike Gillis.

If I had to pick, Michalek. But Ottawa has so much cap space it doesn't even matter. @Drasaitl_94, what about Mattias Ohlund?

@Titties: Well he's on LTIR anyways so I don't really care about his contract since it doesn't count against the cap. And I think it runs out either after this year or after next.
But Carle gets 5.5 per for the next 4 or 5 years, which I think is clearly to much for what he brings. And since TB has to resign Stamkos which will cost a fair amount of money and some day other young player to bigger contracts (Johnson, Kucherov, Palat, Drouin, etc), they'd desperately need the 5.5 Carle is making.
And since we have like 8 D men (Hedman, Stralman, Garrison, Carle, Gudas, Brewer, Sustr, Barberio) that can play the NHL level (and more to come from the AHL in Witkowski, Koekkoek, Sergeev, Nesterov and Blujus), we don't really need him.
That's why I'd go Carle.

Ottawa is tough to pick, they don't really have THAT ONE BAD contract.
Technically, I'd say Ryan, because I think he isn't good enough on the ice for making 7.25 per, but I know he's doing great in the community and stuff, so I'd maybe go MacArthur, although I like that guy. But long contract at a relatively hefty price. Michalek is my second choice.
