Those sources clearly aren't trying to make Boston a better team then. You're filling one hole by creating another one sending away Krug, and then their most recent first rounder and next years? Trouba is not worth that and Krug.

Lol Krug alone is probably equal in terms of value when it comes to Trouba. He's honesty the last D Boston would move. He's the only one capable of rushing the puck up the ice and quarter backing the Powerplay. So pretty equal already and Bruins won't trade Krug but you add McAvoy and a 1st that imo will be a lottery pick. Sounds like "your sources" are about as credible as Pinball.

Winnipeg would want a LHD coming back. I’m thinking that it would take Dvorak, Chychrun, and a pick (2107 1st or 2nd) . Jets fans might think it’s not enough. Arizona fans might think it’s too much. An offer sheet would cost 4 1sts so this is probably in the ballpark.

Tricky situation for Arizona.
Chris Prongers imaginary contract attained contains a NTC and Gologoski has a modified NTC. If these 2 are auto protections for the draft, then the 3rd D position for protection has to be OEL. Attaining a 4th Dman in Trouba means the Yotes are in the same prediciment Winnipeg is in and can't protect him.
Love the trades for value, but that damn L. V. draft sure puts a wrench into even the most reasonable trades. .

I couldn't see Arizona giving up their 1st Round Pick, I feel like the Jets would like to get the equivalent of Trouba's Value in return. I thought Trouba would've been traded to Florida for Crouse, 1st Round pick and a 2nd Round pick but Crouse ended up going to Arizona.

I think Arizona just says no overall. Keeping Dvorak/ Crouse + Chychyrn + another pick will be more essential to them in the future than Jacob Trouba. Yes he's good, but with Goligoski, Stone and Ekman-Larsson, with Chyrchyurn coming up, I kinda see no point. Maybe there is reason, but IMMA say no from both teams.

Wow, what interesting, original and good trade proposals for Trouba. I think that the Jets would want a bit more than two prospect, albeit very good prospects and those draft picks for Trouba. Neither Dvorak or Crouse have proven themselves in the NHL yet, and it is a big step. The Jets have Liane, Ehlers, Perreault, Conner, Petan and Lemieux ready to play lw. Dvorak would be right in the mix with those players but I think that the Jets would want a l-shot d-man. Arizona would have to sweeten the pot for Trouba. If this trade were to happen the coyotes would have a great and young defense.

Yeah we'd love that one here in the Peg. Only time you'd ever see Chevy flustered is as he dislocated his jaw trying to agree to this fast enough. Trouba's going to be great for a long time I think, but he wants a lot of coin without proving that out yet. Some very nice prospects avail at #4.

Last time I checked, you have pay for talented players. What team can you name that's won the cup with plumbers? As an oilers fan I don't mind this. I do this deal and hope Trouba turns into that $6mil dollar D-Man so that oilers have to pay him.
Long term, Trouba will have a better overall career than Tkachuk.

You assume Tkachuk is taken at #4. Also if you check any relevant off or def numbers on Trouba, anything over 4.5mil or so is strictly paying for potential which can be very dangerous. The pick is undoubtedly the better option for a team that may not cintend for a year or two. Saying all that, as long as term is reasonable (6 not 8 yrs maybe) I would not be all that upset if they resign Trouba. Would be a completely diff story if we weren't loaded with rhand dmen.

Oil don't need Morrisey and Jets wouldn't want to give him up. A deal for Myers would be nice though. Also Toronto deal doesn't make sense for either teams.

That is a ridiculous overpayment from the Bruins. Including Krug in any Trouba trade would be plugging one hole while creating another, we just drafted Mcavoy and he looks great, without Krug our best LD are Chara/ Liles/ Morrow so the pick would probably be 10-14 again.

No from both teams just not thought out maybe the value is there but still no. Trouba is on the block for top 4 LHD and they get back a top 4 RHD who would play bottom pair with Myers and Buff ahead of him. Even if the gave Krug a top 4 position IMO it wouldn't work Chemestry wise. Also IMO that's to much from Bruins Krug is very good. McCavoy could be really good and then there is a 1st pick that could be lottery.

The Dumba trade I don't think would happen, I believe Toronto would have to give up a bit more. JVR is a solid Top 6 forward but Dumba is a really solid Top 2 Defenseman in the league right now.

Winnipeg wouldn't accept that trade, the jets have no use for kadri, he'd be playing 3rd/ 4th line with the jets. The leafs would have to give up more than kappanan, he hasn't proven much since he's been drafted.
