OTT: Ceci/2018 1st

Ari: OEL/Duclair

OTT: Hoff / claesson

EDM: Nuge/ 2018 2nd

OTT: brassard/ smith /chlapik

Tor: JVR /2018 2nd

1.) 11 Jan 2018 17:24:54
Duclair already gone bud.

2.) 11 Jan 2018 17:33:35
Little late.

3.) 11 Jan 2018 20:02:37
None of these are good.

4.) 11 Jan 2018 20:05:32
Besides being late, OEL and Duclair for Ceci and a first 🤔 (I mean unless that’s a top 5 pick)

5.) 11 Jan 2018 21:12:02
OEL >>> Cici
1st >>> Duclair.
Arizona laughs.

6.) 12 Jan 2018 19:58:57
Arizona and Edmonton trade are too one sided for Ottawa. Probably a no go.

Toronto trade is more likely.

30 Dec 2017 20:33:32
Ott: Hoffman/ceci/brassard

Edm: hopkins/2018 1st

Ott: ryan/ karlsson/ condon / burrows

Dal: seguin/ benn/ bishop 2019 3rd

Ott: benn/ seguin

Ari: domi duclair 2018 1st

1.) 30 Dec 2017 23:47:17
Wow Benn=Karlsson

Ryan ( nagitive value ) Burrows And Condon= nothing.

2.) 31 Dec 2017 01:07:46
Holy wow. Rape the other team.
These are way too heavily in favor of Ottawa.
Where's the Phanuef for a teams 1st and top prospect?
Surprised you didn't propose Phanuef for Barzel or Boeser.

3.) 31 Dec 2017 01:40:26
Lol No.

4.) 31 Dec 2017 06:55:38
Why not do this;

Ottawa buys out Phaneuf, Burrows, Smith and MaCarthur
Ott: Karlsson, Hoffman, Ceci, Condon

Ari: Ekman-Larsson, Domi, Duclair and 2018 ist

Ott: Ryan, Anderson

Dal: Bishop, Faksa.

5.) 01 Jan 2018 11:34:30
Lmfao Ryan (consistent 60 point getter) is far from negative value and karlsson (generational) > Benn (elite) sorry to tell you but don't kid yourself.

Burrows = HEART guy that adds experience, leadership, and goes into corner battles with everything he has, while Condon is a solid back up goalie on any team. So again far from nothing.

What I don't agree with on this is
Why does ottawa bring bishop back without moving Andy? 2 huge contract goalies not a good thing.

And Seguin and benn >>>>> domi, duclaire, and a chance at the number 1 pick, maybe one of the 2 for that but definitely not both.

Take out bishop and Condon and fix the Arizona trade by saying Seguin and a 3rd from Dallas deal for duclaire domi and the 2018 1st (lottery pick, NOT a guarenteed number 1 overall even if they finish dead last)

6.) 02 Jan 2018 10:48:53
News flash karlsson >> Benn
Ryan = consistent 50 to 60 point guy or 0.65 ppg guy, definitely NOT negative value no matter how you look at him or his contract.

Only things here that don't make sense are why would ottawa want a 2nd big contract goalie, i'd take out the goalies in falls trade and up the 3rd to a 2nd or even possibly a 1st if Dallas finishes high enough in the standings to warrant that.

Also Seguin and benn is a huge over payment in the pho deal. I get that the pick is probably going to be a lotto pick but it's still not a guarantee though, so maybe change that one to

Seguin, batherson, and the pick from Dallas
Domi, duclaire, and the 1st

The rest is fine.

7.) 02 Jan 2018 10:56:19
Hawks not a bad idea but MacArthur is most likely going to retire anyway, Smith is likely an asset that can get a good trade return while burrows and Phaneuf could easily be picked up at deadline by a contender. might not get a lot for them but definitely something is better than nothing. even a couple later round draft picks like 4th 5th or 6th rounds. otherwise I actually like this post of yours.

8.) 03 Jan 2018 21:05:24
I'm confused, Ryan is consistently injured and has not touched 60 pts since 2011-2012. I'm a Sense fan, but this is over-valuing him, particularly given his ludicrous contract. That said, slot him into a 2nd-3rd line role for a cup contender and he may be worth it for another team.

9.) 06 Jan 2018 17:06:16
Bobby ryan has never hit 60 points since 2010-11 with anaheim, he only broke 50 points mark 2 out of the 5 years as a sen. somehow this makes ryan a "consistant" 60 point getter? So clueless rambo, or maybe you're just dumb and don't know what the word "consistant" means? Afterall, you can't spell it. there's no way in hell phaneuf could easily be picked up by a play off contender, that's such an uneducated comment. Phaneuf is ours to keep, we knew that when we traded for him.

22 Dec 2017 16:52:06
OTT: Harpur/ macormick

TB:conacher and 2019 3rd

Tampa gets 2 players on the verge of making the nhl roster with experience. Plus harpur has top 4 potential. Solid dman still makes some mistakes but he's young

Ottawa gets someone who is familiar with boucher and his system and has some speed.

Idk if the 3rd is too high maybe a lower one? Thoughts?

1.) 22 Dec 2017 20:00:30
Ottawa says no.

2.) 23 Dec 2017 08:36:38
You think any of those two guys would crack TBs roster? TB already has 8D and at least 14 NHL caliber F. No reason to give up a 3rd.

05 Dec 2017 14:58:44
So with ottawa probably not signing EK for long term... i was wondering what Ottawa could get in return?

Ottawa Ek
NYI tavares?

Ottawa: ceci macormick

Detroit: Helm and a 2018 3rd

1.) 05 Dec 2017 15:51:34
Please tell me where you saw that EK wasnt going to sign long term. please.

2.) 05 Dec 2017 18:25:51
What makes you think he won't sign with Ott? They will pony up for him.

3.) 05 Dec 2017 19:09:06
EK said he wants to stay in Ottawa and that's his first priority.

4.) 05 Dec 2017 19:32:55
The detroit trade is a joke, ottawa loses ceci and mccormick and take on a cap dump all for just a 3rd round pick. get real.

5.) 05 Dec 2017 22:16:16
Karlsson literally said sunday, his first priority is to resign in Ottawa and stay. It's where his home is and all that.
That's a fact. He literally said that.
Said his other comments few days earlier were taken out of context.

6.) 06 Dec 2017 01:38:49
How many times has ottawa lost players because of management? Melnyk is not going to sign karlsson for the money he wants. regardless of the fact he said he wants to stay. If that's the case ottawa should trade him while they can.

Ott: karlsson formenton 2019 2nd
WPG: Myers wheeler 2018 3rd

7.) 06 Dec 2017 06:20:22
Hahahahahahahahahaha that Winnipeg trade holy that was hilarious nice joke man.

8.) 06 Dec 2017 08:09:05
Yeah because Scrooge McMelnyk has such a solid history ponying up that kind of cash.

9.) 07 Dec 2017 06:32:58
He has never said he’s not going to sign, but I would be happy to bet that he isn’t in Ottawa after 2019 if Melnyk still owns the team. He just traded turris + + for Duchene for one reason, so he didn’t have to open his dusty old wallet for 2 more seasons. He’s the only owner in the league I can honestly predict could let one of the best players in the world walk rather than get off his wallet. No other reason besides a low ball negotiation will keep Karlsson from being a senator for life, and I can see it happening. Sucks for sens fans, great for wherever he ends up.

10.) 07 Dec 2017 06:33:17
As for the trades tho. woof!

02 Oct 2017 22:01:31
Ottawa: hammond/ dzingle/ 2018 2nd and 4th

Vancouver: sedin twins

Vancouver gets a backup with starter potential. A speedy well established winger that can play any role. aswell as two picks to help the rebuild.

Ottawa gets two players who can help their team for the now. While trying to have a deep playoff run to persuade EK to resign for the future.

Maybe this just sounds better in my head. But the gms must me on goos terms after the dahlen for bjrrows trade.

1.) 02 Oct 2017 23:45:08
Fair for senators, because any team that can handle $14 mill cap coming back, can't pay actual value for the players. However that package is not near enough to convince the Canucks to piss off fans and the twins by asking them to waive. Their legacy should only be disturbed if someone blows them away with something they couldn't possibly not try to get the sedins to agree. This isn't that. I'm thinking like a top 5 pick and a good prospect. And I don't see any team offering that.

2.) 03 Oct 2017 01:22:20
Lol. Hammond was just in waivers and Canuks have Markstrom and Nillson. Zero interest in Hammond.
Also, The Sedins aren't being traded.

3.) 04 Oct 2017 16:58:44
Insulting to vancouver.

With ottawa and kyle turris not on the same page for a long term contract...

does ottawa trade him now so they get something in return?

Will he walk?

Will the sens sign him 6?7? Years

Or will turris settle for a mid 4 year contract?

Would like to hear others thoughts?

Personally i think he will sign a 4 year deal at 6mil a season.

1.) 09 Oct 2017 19:08:12
He will get more then 6 million.

2.) 09 Oct 2017 19:23:13
I'm sure ottawa would do that too. Unfortunately Turris wats 7 or 8 years. That's the stalemate.
I would trade him, I don't see him as a first line centre. He is a decent player but very inconsistent. I would say he's a good second line centre but not an elite 2nd line centre.

I dnt mind the first one. But if anything they will be getting younger.

sens laugh at the second pick.

Keith has been getting worse. Also ottawa could probably get a decent prospect or a solid top 6 forward for ceci.

I like the trade but i think sens would have to throw in claesson or Wideman for vgk to let go of their top player.

Ottawa: 18-1st Claesson and lajoie

VGK: Neal 19-3rd.
