Considering karlsson and letang both might get traded, letang has a longer contract and Pittsburgh wants to win now while Ottawa might rebuild

Karlsson is worth quite a bit more than Letang, Hoffman wrecks Cole value wise. "Picks and prospects" won't make up for the difference, esp with the Pens having no blue-chippers.

Definitely won by pittsburgh by a landslide. Hoffman could probably get you letang. And on top of that, you want to add 2 time norris defenceman Karlsson... And you want Ottawa to receives Pittsburgh's cap dump.. what did you smoke tbh

Karlsson brought the sens to the conference finals last season by himself. He is undebatably the best dman in the nhl and he makes a team and can win games. Letang can make a consistent nice breakout pass and makes a nice pass in the offensive zone here and there but he can’t make or break a game. Karlsson is much more valuable. Karlsson= Tavares ( with no contract uncertainty )

Letang=Parise.
