Minnesota: Dumba, Kuemper, 15th overall, Niederreiter
Edmonton: 4th Overall, RNH, 2nd.
1.) 04 Jun 2016 03:15:28
No thank you.
2.) 04 Jun 2016 04:10:21
4th overall > Dumba, Kuemper
Nuge, 2nd >>>>>> 15th overall, Niedereiter.
How ever you want to spin or compare it like that, Its a no brainer easy no from Edmonton.
3.) 04 Jun 2016 13:10:40
Add Coyal and I think it Intrigues Edmonton.
04 Jun 2016 00:34:18
Minnesota: Scandella, 15th overall
Florida: Bjugstad, 2nd.
1.) 04 Jun 2016 03:08:19

Saw this idea from another user and I'm going to make a few changes:
2016 offseason
Minnesota: Brodin
NYI: Hamonic
Minnesota: RNH
Edmonton: Hamonic, Pominville
Minnesota: 2nd rnd pick
Any team in need of a goalie: Kuemper
Sign Okposo. Raanta, Talbot
Buyout: Thomas Vanek
Lines:
Parise-RNH-Okposo
Niederreiter-Granlund-Coyle
Haula-Koivu-Zucker
Talbot-Graovac-Fontaine
Suter-Spurgeon
Dumba-Scandella
Reilly-Folin
Oloffson
Dubnyk
Raanta
Feedback much appreciated.
1.) 22 Feb 2016 14:31:04
You realize talbot signed 3 years in edm.
2.) 23 Feb 2016 02:19:31
I think he means Max, not Cam.
3.) 23 Feb 2016 17:19:50
I don't think Edm needs a Pominville I'd rather skip the middle man and try and get Hamonic and Okposo if I'm Edmonton.
19 Feb 2016 17:33:00
Minnesota: Brodin, Granlund
Montreal: Pacioretty, 3rd.
1.) 19 Feb 2016 18:59:58
Habs pass, they need more scoring forwards, won't trade Max for that.
2.) 19 Feb 2016 19:08:14
Bad trade for Habs.
04 Feb 2016 17:32:35
Minnesota: Spurgeon
Edmonton: Eberle.
1.) 04 Feb 2016 17:43:53
. Maybe Spurgeon, Brodin and a 1st/ 2nd for Eberle. Surgeon is never going to get Eberle.
2.) 04 Feb 2016 18:09:20
And Eberle will never get you that package.
3.) 04 Feb 2016 18:40:08
Davidson for sutter?
Purcell for Parise?
4.) 04 Feb 2016 18:46:00
LOL spurgein, brodin and a 1st for eberle. did you write your name incorrectly and its supposed to say Oilers53?
5.) 04 Feb 2016 18:48:22
Davidson will never get Sutter and Purcell will never get Parise. Sweet dreams Oilers fan.
6.) 04 Feb 2016 18:58:20
Why no love for Eberle.? He's worth note than Spurgeon ... if I was Edmonton, I'd be keeping him.. the 2 young forwards I'd be parting with yo get good players are Yakupov and RNH.. RNH could be part of a package to get Shattenkirk .. Yakupov could be part of a deal to get Haminoc. Isles might like him on the Wing with Tavares.? . I'm not saying straight up trades.. but Eberle with McDavid.. Hall with Draisitle. Two really good one two punches in the top lines... get some D help.... this team could be not good but great...
7.) 04 Feb 2016 19:07:57
I think Oils was sarcasm. But Eberle for Brodin a little closer? He's not a righty though, not sure how important that is to management.
8.) 04 Feb 2016 21:29:35
Brodin is worth more than Eberle for sure. Something more like Eberle for Dumba makes more sense.

Who are some young centers around the league that could be moved? . Just thinking about this since the Wild missed out on Johansen. RNH? Who else?
1.) 07 Jan 2016 04:11:32
E Staal
Not exactly "young" but he'll probably be traded soon-ish.
2.) 07 Jan 2016 05:00:45
Eller.
27 Dec 2015 15:33:12
Ok so here's a list of the Wild defenseman:
Suter, Spurgeon, Brodin, Dumba, Scandella, Prosser, Folin, Oloffson, Rielly, and prospect belpedio. That's 10 NHL caliber defenseman. And some pretty good ones I might add. BUT they have committed over 21 million to just 5 D. Now a few questions. Whoch one (s) get traded? What do the wild need? Who are their possible trading partners? Comment below.
I think that Brodin is the odd man out because Olffson is pretty much the same player and he will have a lot of value. Maybe Scandella? I also believe they need a number 1 center. Fits? Edmonton and Columbus?
Comment your thoughts, just thought it's a interesting convo for people who believe their team needs D. Thanks for your time reading!
1.) 27 Dec 2015 16:29:14
First off, stating those are "10 NHL calibre defensemen" immediately made me want to stop reading. Your bias knows no bounds. Pull the reigns a bit.
I kept reading, however, and instead was floored by the suggestion (if I'm reading your thought processes correctly) that Scandella is worth a number 1 C from Edm or CBJ?
Were you dropped on your head as a child?
2.) 27 Dec 2015 17:56:40
I never said just Scandella is worth a first line center buddy. Obviously min would add. And yes, all of them are or have the potential to be NHL caliber. They are all underrated. You sir obviously don't pay attention to other teams around the league. Btw you should know about Belpedio from watching the world juniors. Pretty sure he and the US beat your Canadians.
Have a good day.
3.) 27 Dec 2015 18:27:16
Well. If we could put the Juniors out there that weren't in the NHL.. your Americans woulda been stommped.
4.) 27 Dec 2015 18:54:41
ok, since you brought up the world juniors, you have brought my anger about how people perceive it out. first, the tournament isn't filled with each country's best players (specifically Canada and America here), if it were, it would almost surely be a Canada vs. US/ Sweden final every year. Second, why do people place sooo much value on what a guy does in a 2 week tournament? Playing well for 2 weeks proves nothing, it's not done against NHL caliber players, it's not even done against men. Also, playing well for 2 weeks doenn't mean the guy is automatically a draft steal and top prospect, sure, it may bring him a bit of recognition and that's fine, but what it shouldn't do is make him appear to be the next best player at his position. generally, if the guy was drafted in the 5th round, there's a reason why, and 2 weeks of good hockey shouldn't overcome that, yet it always does. that's not to say that guys drafted in the later rounds can't be good, they obviously can, but there are exponentially more examples of guys drafted in these rounds who don't even play an nhl game than there are examples of diamonds in the rough.
now go ahead, hate me for not likling the stupid tournament and stupid peoples' comments around it :D.
5.) 27 Dec 2015 19:14:28
So people who play well at the World Juniors are sure NHLers? Hmm I guess that means the Sharks have a future star in Noah Rod. He's scored 2 goals in 2 games after all.
6.) 27 Dec 2015 19:53:37
Shankar, I do agree with you, but he hasn't been playing well for just two weeks otherwise he wouldn't have made the team. He's played incredible at Miami and played great at u18's last year. I'm not bashing the canadian team at all. They are very good. Just saying show the Americans a little respect. The game is really growing here and is catching up to Canada. Also, if Canada would have won your argument would be different.
7.) 27 Dec 2015 20:15:02
no, my argument would not be different. Latvia could win for all i care (are they even in it? ) . i simply don't watch it, but can't avoid hearing about it. you didn't really counter my point, you said he played well at another 2 week tournament, which gives a marginal boost i guess, but is far from proving consistency. I don't follow the NCAA at all, so maybe he is playing well there. However, making a world junior's team doesn't necessarily mean someone is good, it measn they are good enough to make a team full of players aged 18/ 19, most of whom will not be impact players at the nhl level, and most of the players in the tournament will not even play an NHL game, so the level of competition, even with age factored in, likely is lower than you think it is because of teams like latvia, belarus, switzerland, etc. anyways, my point being, playing well in the tounrnament pretty much means nothing, yet, every year, people get so high on some random guys that play well in it.
8.) 27 Dec 2015 20:20:39
and this also isn't about respect/ bashing at all, i've repeatedly said i couldn't are less about the tournament. its about the perception people get from players at tournaments like this. 2 weeks doesn't make a career, nor should it make someone a top prospect, yet it apparently inevitably does, and those people tend to more often than not be disappointed because, like i said, there is a reason said player was not taken in the top of the 1st round.
9.) 27 Dec 2015 22:10:30
I agree, but there has also been some very solid players too. Anyway, my problem with some of you Canadians is some of your hypocritical remarks about how every trade is terrible, but when I look at yours they are no different. Shankar is one of the only ones that has some good points and know what he is talking about.
10.) 28 Dec 2015 04:34:47
Just because you disagree with what someone is saying, doesn't mean you know what you're talking about. I follow damn near every team in the league, surely some more than others, but I know what I'm talking about. You may not like my direct and unflattering approach, but your original post was both hyperbolic and overtly general at the same time. And Edm isn't trading any top C's to a team they see so often. Especially if Scandella is a main piece. Brodin would be a decent starting point, but still won't happen.
01 Nov 2015 16:35:10
Just curious, but what do you guys think Jason Pominville's value is? I think he could be a trade candidate for the wild if his slump continues. He just doesn't fit the system the wild play. He could also clear a lot of cap room too.
1.) 01 Nov 2015 16:57:36
he's definitely starting to slow down, that coupled with his contract that has a few more years on it at a relatively large clip make his market pretty limited. maybe a decent prospect and 2nd if MIN wanted to dump him quick?
2.) 01 Nov 2015 20:07:03
That's what I thought. I think he's a likely draft day trade or around free agency if teams miss out on guys.
25 Feb 2016 14:30:01
Lol you think the wild would trade Dumba for another aging rental. No way. Those reports of the wild getting loui are bs. Doesn't make sense.
25 Feb 2016 14:27:34
So the isles get a top 3 pick pretty much for hamonic? Huh.
22 Feb 2016 01:26:05
This is actually a really good idea. I think the min, edm trade would look more like:
Minnesota: Hamonic, pommer, 4th
Edm: RNH, prospect.
22 Feb 2016 01:22:03
I like it.
22 Feb 2016 01:21:14
Are you kidding me?!?! You think Minnesota would give up a 1st for Lars Eller. I'm sorry but u have absolutely no clue. You're abciously a hand fan. c'mon bud
If anything it would be mn giving up a third for him.

Not saying which is better but rather who I'd have on my team:
Benn
Getz
Tavares
Boychuck
Price
Subban
Toews
Give me crap for the Crosby/ toews, but that's my opinion.
