Makes sense to me. Kane has obvious character issues so Bowman will probably have to sell low. I doubt Gazzy alone does it but if they threw in a 4th or 5th and maybe a C-level prospect that might get it done. I think Chicago just wants to get rid of this guy and it's a buyers market this year.

If the oilers win the draft lottery
Coyotes : 2016 1st
Oilers : OEL
I know it would be a tough pill to swallow for the coyotes to give up their franchise dman, but imagine a first line of Domi - Matthews - Duclair for the future. And the oilers will solve their problem of not having a legitimate top 2 dman, although OEL is not right handed he's still a huge improvement and oilers still have lots of offensive firepower going forward.

Arizona would have nobody good on defense, plus they have guys like Dylan Strome, Max Domi, and Anthony Duclair to rely on for Offence for years to come. Those guys individually may not be better than Matthews, but as a collective they will power the Yotes.

It's amazing that you think tbe oilers are going to win the lottery the odds of thst are astronomical don't forget your team is full strength you will place probably around 5 6 pick closer to 10th than 1st . So yeah that was my reasoning. On top of that #1 dman ate expensive especially proven #1s will take over payment. The fact that your team still doesn't he one proves my point. If they were so cheap and easily had you guys would have one but you dont. I wonder why.

IMO OEL isn't worth the Matthews, let alone adding other big pieces, however Arizona doesn't have another #1 Dman, so I doubt he would be cheap. With no incentive to move him or viable replacement, they could ask for whatever they wanted.

would love to get him wiout havening to give up Nurse, Klefbom, McDavid, Hall, Nuge, eberle but I think it would have to be Eberle. Its out there that Isles already turned doen Eberle for Hamonic straight up and that they want Klefbom or Nurse in any deal, but reading that when Boychuck comes back from injury, and its getting closer and closer to trade deadline that they might go back to eberle for Hamonic talks and some say it could bea good deadline deal and that Snow might just be waiting until closer to then.

I'd be willing to part with RNH, Eberle, or Yakupov. And before people lose their minds, I'm not saying Yakupov alone would get him, he is simply one of the guys I'd be willing to part with. Wouldn't give up the other top forwards, nor Klefbom or Nurse.

I really liked the Idea posted on here a few days ago Fowler to NY for Hamonic (NY wants a Defencemen similar age and cailabre etc) and then ANA deals him to EDM for Eberle. Helps ANA Scoring, NY forfills Hamonic's trade request to Western Canada and EDM gets a RHD with size who could be a top 2 someday. But then again don't know if they'll deal in the Division.

I'm not that familiar with Hamonic. But is he really worth one of the Oilers young forwards? Like Eberle? . If he is .. I jus didn't realize he was that good. I thought of him as a top 4 dman.. good shot blocker and would deffinetley help Edmonton..

He's a pretty good top-4 D, and he's a righty which is a big bonus. Eberle for Hamonic straight-up would be pretty spot on.

He is his what Edmonton needs. Two main kea are right handed and can log 25 min a game easily. He's 25, good age for the direction the organization is at right now. Nurse - Hamonic top pairing moving forward would be great for them. Both will be solid work horses.
