Just throwing out there!

Oilers: strome
Sabres: Reinhardt

Similar struggles. Maybe new team would help their production. Yes, I know that Oilers just got strome and needs more time to adjust, but Reinhardt definitely needs a new scene.

Lightening

1.) 17 Nov 2017 00:02:17
Same struggles? Lol Reinhart is 2 and a half years younger, and played 90 less NHL games and only has 4 less goals. Not even close to worth it for the sabres to give up on Reinharts potential. He’s got a chance to still be really good at 22. Strome May get better, but he’s a lot less likely to live up to his hype now that he’s going to be 25 by seasons end than Reinhart is.

2.) 17 Nov 2017 01:15:47
Last year or the year before someone on here said Sam Rienhart was a top 10 player in the league. Anyone remember who that was? That was hilarious.

3.) 17 Nov 2017 04:30:41
Reinhart over Strome easily.

4.) 17 Nov 2017 05:36:16
Buffalo laughs at this proposal tho. Even I know that.

5.) 18 Nov 2017 10:44:27
Hahahahaha.
Even I wouldn't troll this bad.

Buffalo adds.

29 Sep 2017 21:55:03
Oilers: Puljujarvi
Jackets: Anderson

Both right wings. Anderson more established. Puljujarvi cheaper and 4 years younger and great potential. Maybe Oilers add a 3rd or 4th.

Lightening

1.) 29 Sep 2017 23:31:14
what. What?

2.) 29 Sep 2017 23:50:02
Are you kidding?

3.) 30 Sep 2017 00:48:04
Lol. Oilers wouldn't be adding.
They say no to this deal straight up at the moment. They aren't giving up on 19 year old own 4th overall draft pick.

4.) 30 Sep 2017 02:34:04
Pulj>>Anderson.

Pulj was projected to go #2 in 2016, but Laine rose and has become the superior player. However, Pulj is much better than a, more or less third line energy guy in Anderson - who has some goal scoring touch.

5.) 30 Sep 2017 03:44:22
No from Oilers. I have my questions about Puljujarvi too and I like Anderson, but this is bad for Edmonton.

6.) 30 Sep 2017 14:29:08
In other news, Jackets also trade Werenski to the Oilers for Gryba, because, well, Gryba is certainly more established.

7.) 30 Sep 2017 18:43:55
Hahahahah werenski for Gryba yes.

04 Jul 2017 18:21:31
Oilers: Drai
Canes: Faulk + Lindholm.

Lightening

1.) 04 Jul 2017 22:20:42
Calm no from oilers.

2.) 04 Jul 2017 21:10:59
Oilers add Nurse.

3.) 04 Jul 2017 23:06:01
Borje, Oilers add nurse? Come on. Maybe, maybe, a B prospect.

4.) 05 Jul 2017 00:54:42
Classic Borje.

5.) 05 Jul 2017 01:40:01
Honestly think it's fair.

6.) 05 Jul 2017 20:29:17
At this point Nurse is a B prospect. He is maybe even a C prospect.

7.) 05 Jul 2017 20:30:41
Yes Nurse. Faulk is s proven top 2 def. Drai had a good season and one good playoff series. During the Sharks series, he was invisible. Nurse is s bottom pair def with great physical attributes and Lindholm is an unproven but potentially good forward.

8.) 05 Jul 2017 20:35:18
Come on Oiler fans. After the San Jose series all of you were saying Drai was invisible. Then he has an excellent 6 games and you are all acting like his agent.

9.) 05 Jul 2017 21:09:10
So in other words nurse and Lindholm are unproven? It takes dman more time to develop than forwards. Nurse is much much higher than Lindholm's.

10.) 18 Jul 2017 00:33:34
It blows my mind after reading a considerable amount of these rumours. They really like nuge, he plays against all the top lines and has become an outstanding defensive player, McClellan knows exactly where he fits. As far as nurse they have held a rope on him to really get his act together in his own end. This young fellow gets 40 points this year. they are not trading either one of these guys. Dria, is still a work in progress nothing more or less, he signs for 6.5.

07 Jun 2017 06:38:23
After expansion draft,
Oilers: Eberle + 22 overall
Islanders: Strome + Poluck + 2nd round.

Lightening

1.) 07 Jun 2017 11:24:55
Ah ha Eberle isn't even worth a second alone. So a late first rounder gatineauoase isn't even 22 overall so IDK why you would say that. Where did you get it was 22 overall. Remeber Edm made it in the top 4 so their pick needs for be like 26 ish.

2.) 07 Jun 2017 12:34:29
GoldenNights Edmonton made it to the West top 4. But only the leahue 8. Lost to Anaheim remember?

3.) 07 Jun 2017 14:33:13
GoldenNights, you need to learn more about hockey before you put your two cents in.
Why don't you try to post one good trade? Pls try your very very hard because it seems your best so far isn't that good or bright!

4.) 07 Jun 2017 15:14:27
Ya and to get 50 points isn't worth a 2nd rounder remember :/.

5.) 07 Jun 2017 15:13:53
1. Oilers do not want Strome and his attitude and 40 something
percent faceoff percentage.

2. Dreaming if you think that Edm would send Eberle over for this
let alone add their 1st to get a prospect. Try Pouliot in
place of Eberle if he survives the Vegas draft.

3. To attain Eberle Delete Poluck Strome, Oilers 1st and add
Hamonic and an Oilers 3rd and you have a fair trade for all.
Edm Eberle + 3rd in a sad draft year.
NYI Hamonic + 2nd in a sad draft year.

4. In spite of a down year for Eberle, THE TEAM exceeded
expectations this year and Islanders missed the playoffs. Team
chemistry means a lot more than 1 individual player and
Edmonton has this WITH Eberle in the lineup. There's no way
PC needs to liquidate Eberle this year for the paltry return of
this trade. Especially to get back dressing room poison with
a sadder faceoff % then what's already in Edm and a paltry 30
point man for a team player.

05 Jun 2017 23:17:27
Oilers: RNH + Eberle + 1st (#22)
Panthers: Bjugstad + Demers + 1st (#10)

Panthers don't lose a right hand dman to Vegas and add a right wingers, which they need.

Oilers get a big right hand centre man and right hand dman that they need.

Lightening

1.) 06 Jun 2017 00:14:55
I'll save FairTrade the time. Add Barkov and Ekblad if you want RNH and Eberle.

2.) 06 Jun 2017 01:21:12
That's interesting, but that's a lot of salary going to Florida. Can't see them taking it.
And honestly can't see edmonton going for Demers, our top 2 are making less then our 2nd pairing (sekera and demers if this happened) . I'd honestly rather have Pysyk over demers since he also chose not to come here after his visit.

3.) 06 Jun 2017 01:29:33
Easy no from Edmonton IMO. An Eberle for Bjugstad can be a decent base though.

4.) 06 Jun 2017 01:48:18
I don't get why Edmonton has to add

5.) 06 Jun 2017 03:36:30
Doesnt make sense expansion wise.

6.) 06 Jun 2017 05:17:50
Salary isn't that different.
Bjugstad $4 and demers $4.5 = $8.5
Eberle and RNH = $12.

7.) 06 Jun 2017 14:10:55
Take out Demers and Eberle.

8.) 06 Jun 2017 15:20:19
Edmonton doesn't need to move up though, other than that interesting trade.

9.) 06 Jun 2017 16:55:22
Lightning. Dream on my friend.
BOTH of them? Ya not happening.
You're not getting those 2 for that. Might get one of the 2 for what you've offered if you're lucky.

If the offer was revised to one of the 2 of them, the trade would have to be after the Vegas draft as Edmonton cannot attain another Dman until after.

10.) 06 Jun 2017 17:00:21
Not Today.
Sorry that's not a Fair trade., Delete Demers and Florida's 2017 useless weak 2017 draft pick, add Eckblad to the original deal and NOW you have a fair trade.

So Eberle and RNH and Useless 2017 1st round pick
For
Eckblad and Bujstad

And you may have a realistic deal.

Other than that. Edmonton is content as they are with the current team that "Exceeded expectations"

The only way Oilers should sign Russell is to a one year $4m contract. If not, then sign Campbell or Markov to a one year $4 m contract. This will allow the Oilers to start the season without sekera.

Oilers need cap space very soon. They got a year left before Mcdavid' so nee contract starts. Also, some Oilers need a new team just like Shultz did. Some trade proposals:

1.Oilers: RNH + Eberle
Panthers: Bjugdtad + Demers + 2nd Rd pick

2. Oilers: Eberle (retain $1m) + 3rd
Islanders: Hamonic

3. Oilers: Eberle
Islanders: strome + 2nd

4. Oilers: RNH
Hurricanes: Lindholm + 2nd

5. Oilers: RNH + Eberle + Reinhardt + 3rd
Hurricanes: Lindholm + Faulk

6. Oilers: Eberle + 1st 2017
Dallas: Eakin (3rd line centre) + 1st 2017

Stats: games and points
RNH: 395 and 265
Eberle: 507 and 382
Strome: 258 and 126
Bjugstad: 280 and 130
Lindholm: 293 and 144
Eakin: 379 and 154.

Lightening

1.) 01 Jun 2017 21:15:44
5 and 6 are pretty bad for the teams not named the oilers.

2.) 01 Jun 2017 22:11:27
How is 6 bad for Dallas?
They have so short of right wing forwards. Who is going to play on the right wing. You comparing eakin to eberle? Come on.

3.) 01 Jun 2017 22:45:11
1 could have a better return for EDM.

2 is decent, maybe up the 3rd to a 2nd.

3 is good.

4 is alright, but Carolina needs more offense. THEY shouldn't be trading it away

5 is terrible for Carolina.

P.

4.) 04 Jun 2017 00:10:36
Lightening

You say compare eberle to eakin. You should compare 3rd overall to the 22nd that's why 6 is really bad. Eberle doesn't let u jump up the draft that much even in a so called weak draft. If dalas is willing to trade the 3rd overall i'm sure they get a better and more well rounded player than eberle.

Maybe silverberg for the 3rd overall is a better deal. Dallas gets a solid winger and Anaheim gets a good prospect and have an easier time with the expansion draft protecting getzlaf, perry, kesler, rakell, folwer vatanen, lindholm and bieksa. Anaheim probably add here but what do you guys think.

16 May 2017 15:10:01
Oilers need cap space by next year.
Oilers: Eberle
Stars: Eakins
* Oilers need 3rd line centre. Stars need a right wing.
Oilers: RNH
Hurricanes: Lindholm
* Oilers need a right wing to play with Mcdavid. Hurricanes need a 2nd line centre.
Oilers still could get a 3rd round pick for each trade. RNH and Ebs had a bad season. Ebs still had 51 pts.

Eberle: 507 games / 382 points
RNH: 395 games / 265 points
Eakins: 379 games / 155 points
Lindholm: 293 games / 144 points.

I think it is an overpayment for duchene. Brown is 6'6 young centreman.

Mtl is really weak down the middle. RNH would help them a lot. Galchenyuk is going to play wing as mentioned by GM.

RNH had more goals than any centreman on the canes.

If RNH is a 3rd line centreman, then what do you consider Bennett? He would be Calgary's #2 hands down. Who do you guys have other than monahan?
