- Erik Karlsson (6.5m)
- Zack Smith (3.25m)
- Francis Perron (ELC)
- '19 3rd (PIT)

Tampa Bay:
- Brayden Point (ELC)
- Mikhail Sergachev (ELC)
- Ryan Callahan (5.8m)
- Slater Koekoek (800k)
- '18 1st

Hoffman- Duchene - Ryan
Dzingel - Point - Stone
Pyatt - Pageau - Callahan
Pajaarvi - Shore - Gaborik

Sergachev - Ceci
Chabot - Wideman
Boroweicki - Koekoek

Namestnikov - Stamkos - Kucherov
Palat - Johnson - Gourde
Kunitz - Smith - Killorn
Conacher - Paquette - Erne

Hedman - Stralman
Girardi - Karlsson
Coburn - Sustr

Isnt ideal to have Gaborik, Ryan and Callahan's contracts but Sens get 2 Studs in Point and Sergachev, Koekoek (who they've wanted in the past) and a third first rounder this year which should definitly help with the rebuild.

Bolts get Team Swedens Defence corps (3 of the top 4 anyway), a third line Center in Smith, very versatile, can play anywhere in the lineup including and especially the PK. Francis Perron, a 21 y/o prospect who is currently struggling in the AHL but might thrive with a better team.

Let me know what you guys think. Was pretty hesitant to post a Karlsson trade but decided to have a crack at it

1.) 25 Feb 2018 10:12:19
Hoff. I think it's the best one I've seen., however the most parts and most confusing. Lol. But, way better than just Karlsson for . all that.
From what I read. Yzerman isn't going to part with any of his young studs. I just don't think this deal is going to happen, TB and Ottawa., I can see a huge draft day deal, jus not woth Tampa. for some reason Karlsson looks like a Flyer to me. I dunno why lol. but. it's what I see. lol.

2.) 25 Feb 2018 12:03:30
Yzerman has said he doesn't really want to give up roster guys. And you're not getting both Sergachev and point, I don't even think you would get one let alone both. Better shot at Namestnikov or gourde.

3.) 25 Feb 2018 13:56:13
Buddy we’re talking about Erik Karlsson here. If you want Karlsson, a 2 time Norris trophy defence man and a franchise defenceman in his prime, it’s going to take you both point and sergachev without a doubt. All the hockey analysts have said that so idk where you got this idea from

4.) 25 Feb 2018 14:12:42
Man some analysts have said they can do it without either some said Sergachev. I have yet to hear a legit analyst say both. And for a year and a half i wouldn't do both because you create 2 holes by filling one if they do that its in the offseason where they can fill the holes they create. But then it's 1 year of Karlsson. Also Callahan won waive his NTC to Ottawa.

5.) 25 Feb 2018 14:17:53
Literally not a single analyst I have read has said Ottawa could get both Point and Sergachev for Karlsson, and anyone suggesting so is delusional. No one is going to trade two budding all-stars that remain cost controlled for a guy who is going to break the bank with his contract demands after next season. Ottawa might be able to get one of them, with some picks/ prospects as well. Be gone with your homerism.

6.) 25 Feb 2018 14:52:37
ID say Sergachev and Raddysh is fair for Karlsoon.

7.) 27 Feb 2018 18:38:49
If say I want what ever your smoking Colt65 lol take a lot more than sergachev and a vegetable for the best defenceman in the world. A lot more.

16 Feb 2018 15:28:11
As a base :

OTT: Pageau

MTL: Galchenyuk

OTT probs adds . idk how much tho. let me know

1.) 16 Feb 2018 22:13:11
No idea why Montreal does that.

2.) 16 Feb 2018 21:58:27
Ottawa adds I think a 2nd rd pick.

3.) 16 Feb 2018 22:53:21
Cmon man add at least WHite or this is a no effort absurdity proposes by Ottawa.

4.) 16 Feb 2018 23:05:55
Why wouldn't they want a young C McJesus? I thought they were looking for exactly that .

5.) 17 Feb 2018 00:13:48
Why would they give up one of their “top forwards”.

6.) 17 Feb 2018 01:44:55
They want a young centre with top line potential. Pageau is a good player, a 3rd line centre, could be second line on some teams. They would rather a player less established than Pageau, but at least with the possibility and upside to be a top line centre. The galchenyuk for Reinhart one yesterday I found very interesting.

7.) 17 Feb 2018 02:59:58
Hahaha no from montreal pageau isn't what we want at least colin white or logan brown added to that.

8.) 17 Feb 2018 08:57:28
Ott adds big time. Pageau is older, smaller and has no offensive upside. I don't see why habs would even consider this trade.

9.) 17 Feb 2018 16:12:10
Just like to point out that i clearly said "as a base". obviously Ottawa adds .

10.) 19 Feb 2018 19:02:43
Ok get that ottawa may have to add something, sure that's fine and all. but can someone please explain how on earth they would have to add anything close to brown or white on this deal? Because I don't get it.
During regular season he's a bit better than pageau sure but come playoffs he stays the same while pageau amps up his game ten fold, plus it's understandable as pageau is a well above average 3rd line center while Galchenyuk is a below average 2nd liner.

This kind of difference doesn't in any way warrent that big of a return. That's an overpayment worst than the Duchene deal. what has galch really done to be honest?

Most they should give for galch is pageau Paul and a 3rd or 4th and that's it sorry hand fans but that's all he's worth.

04 Feb 2018 16:04:27
Via Craig Button:

OTT: Pageau

PIT: one of Jarry or Gustavsen

PIT has two young goalies behind matt murray and need a third line Centre and OTT needs goalies

personally i like it

1.) 04 Feb 2018 16:19:52
just to clarify. this was a suggestion from button. not an actual trade.

2.) 04 Feb 2018 16:30:17
Pageau isn’t much of an upgrade over Sheahan.

3.) 04 Feb 2018 16:45:48
Well. Xcing that's completely wrong.

4.) 04 Feb 2018 16:59:57
Well Pageau is an upgrade over Sheahan, Pageau is very underrated and a good third line center.

Watching a Pens game the other day the pens guys were saying Sheahan is now looking better since they put this Geuntzel-Sheahan-Kessel line together. And that they may be happy with him as a third line center and could look for a fourth line center now, Like Letestu, who they have been interested in for a while they said. Pens lines when Sheary and Hornqvist come back are very very nice. If you slot letestu in, They look scary to any team in the playoffs I think.
Sheary Crosby rust
Hagelin Malkin hornqvist
Geuntzel Sheehan Kessel
Kuhnackl letestu reaves
Dumoulin Letang
Matta Shultz
Cole Oleksiak

A few days ago pens big three had unreal stats, playing on separate lines. In 13 games Crosby had 23P. Malkin 23P. Kessel 20. Pens are looking scary again.

5.) 04 Feb 2018 17:02:55
But I myself think they should go after Pageau. Put him third line. And move Sheahan to fourth. I wouldn't give up Jarry tho, Unless Condon is coming back. I like condone a lot myself.
Pageau, Condon for Jarry and 5th?
Jarry becomes Sens hopeful future starter or what? I'm not sure Sens goalie situation behind Anderson at the moment. But if they are giving up Pageau I would think it would be for one of those younger goalies they see potential possible starter quality in.

6.) 04 Feb 2018 17:15:38
I stand by my statement that Pagaeu isn’t much of an upgrade over Sheahan. Pageau is only one year younger but doesn’t have as many points despite averaging more ice time. Also Sheahan has better advanced stats event though he starts nearly 70% of shifts in the D zone. Not to mention he’s been hot lately since the Pens shuffled up the lines. If I was the penguins I’d rather keep those goalies cause it’s not much of an upgrade. (PS Pageau also makes more money)

7.) 04 Feb 2018 18:30:39
Xcing, Pageau's opposition every single night is the other teams top line. most nights playing against Mcdavid, Crosby. etc. Obviously Pageau is having a down year. you also have to look at who they're playing for and who they're with.

Ottawa - 29th
Smith - Pageau - Pyatt

Pittsburgh - 14th
Guentzel - Sheahan - Kessel

Also, Pageau is absolute money in the playoffs.

8.) 04 Feb 2018 18:32:08
And again. this isn't my opinion or suggestion, this is from a professional who does this rubbish for a living . Craig Button.

9.) 06 Feb 2018 23:26:39
Ottawa don't need a goalie especially not for pageau.

28 Jan 2018 16:18:53
OTT: Hoffman, Burrows
STL: Kyrou, 2nd

dont think STL has the cap space . but what about value?

1.) 28 Jan 2018 17:24:52
Ya. Not sure about cap either, however, this seems like one of the more fair trades out there.

2.) 28 Jan 2018 17:59:21
Good trade.

3.) 28 Jan 2018 18:03:11
retain on borrows 50% and yea.

4.) 28 Jan 2018 18:04:55
Definitely makes sense for St. Louis adding another sniper if they go on another run this year, good trade.

5.) 28 Jan 2018 20:07:30
realistic i'd say. i'm not 100% on the cap space though.

6.) 28 Jan 2018 20:31:31
STL can't take that much cap without any going out. They only have like $250K in cap space.

7.) 28 Jan 2018 23:06:14
Why on God's green earth would blues want another left winger in burrows who would be the worst lw on the team then add Hoffman as well who is another lw. Schwartz is back and playing very well again. No need for Hoffman or burrows.

What I don't understand is why ott, habs, nyr, and a few other fan bases are constantly making bad offers for those top prospects of blues. Just a thought. If everyone thinks those prospects are so great, why should they traDE them. to win now is crap and was debunked by Armstrong in his press conference. Not only did he say he wasn't trading his top 4 for rentals. He said he saw his windows for being a contender opening now and staying open for a long time. I get Hoffman has 2.5 years then blues will probably not be able to resign him. On top of that blues biggest needs are centers and right wings which the top four are. On top of that stats my may not resign next year. Usually there would be an extension in place by now if player wanted to stay.

8.) 29 Jan 2018 05:00:35
lool. take a look at any hockey news source. they will tell you that STL is highly interested in Hoffman. jesus man, educate yourself please.

9.) 29 Jan 2018 06:28:15
And Burrows is a RW. again, educate yourself.

10.) 29 Jan 2018 09:12:11
Wikipedia, hockey database both have him listed as lh lw. So I appoligize if I was wrong. But all that has ever been said is blues made a futures offer wich Doran refused. This was a rumor has not been backed up with fact. Also just because blues are interested doesn't mean they are willing to part with kyrou. Especially for a player who is a leftwing when the team needs a rw.

Now can you educate me on something. Besides the original rumor and subsequent aftershock rumors. Has there actually been a legit rumor other than stl is one of 5 10 teams interested.

Also if you haven't heard apparently bergevin was at Hamilton bulldogs game. So that must mean blues are very interested in patches too. Guess they want a team with 3 #1lw on team.

Don't forget the Carey price rumor from the French radio/ podcast guy.

Thomas Allen 1st 2018 for price
But bergiven wanted
Thomas huton 2018 first

Funny thing blues don't have a 2018 first.

None of these offers make sense blues are at the cap how the hell are they going to add 8 mil ott offer, 5 mil in patches, 10.5 in Carey price. Just doesn't make sense.

11.) 29 Jan 2018 13:28:10
I may be lost here, but what does Bergevin being at a Hamilton game have anything to do with blues/ habs?

12.) 29 Jan 2018 13:49:54
No one said they’re going to get patches AND Hoffman except you lol obviously anyone with a bit of a clue would see that those two are similar player types and similar contract amount and term and say “they must be trying to see who they can get cheaper and who will fit in better”. Also price is only 6.5 mill. Not 10.5, his 10.5 wouldn’t kick in until statsny, who you yourself said probably won’t be back, and his 7.5 mill are gone. Giving them the 4 mill for prices raise plus 3.5 surplus. Patches makes 4.5 (not 5 like you said) pretty close, plus with Allen going the other way at 4.35 I believe, that means you could have price and patches at 16 mill next year instead of Allen and statsny at $13mill. Doesn’t seem too bad for a team trying to win a cup.

13.) 29 Jan 2018 20:24:44
Jim Robert Thomas was traded to the Hamilton bulldogs and currently centers a line with one of mtl younger prospects. BUT if statsny is not coming back jim. Now blues only have 1 legit center. Can you honestly tell me 1.3 years of patches is worth your top center prospect. I have been following blues since I moved her and they have always struggled with not having a true #1c . In the past they have gotten by with converting players like David backes, Alex steen, now bray den schenn, but I'm all seriousness they have never had a true #1c now Thomas could be that prospect, so could kyrou, Thompson but less likely. So why would a team that has suffered up the middle for so long trade that elite chip for 1.3 years of patches when they know he will not put them over the top. Do theSE traDES Really Make Sense To you.

14.) 29 Jan 2018 21:17:37
Also Thomas was traded by London knights to Hamilton because London knew Thomas wasnt coming back next year. He will be with the blues club next year. Tell me since when does 1 year of a LW equal a young stud center on elc. Doesnt. Fyi I dint write the words young stud 1c center. The Montreal writers on donation did they have been gushing overy kyrou and Thomas for last month or so several articles. Read them. I implore you.

15.) 29 Jan 2018 23:51:09
Do you think that I heard this from 1 random person or something? I told you to check "Any Hockey News Source" because it is well known that STL is highly interested in Hoffman. Go argue with Elliott Freidman if you're so smart.

Why do you think there are so many OTT-STL trade rumors on the site recently?

Also, if you think STL isn't going to give up a good prospect to get a top 6 winger than you're just being ridiculous and have no idea what you're talking about. AGAIN, please educate yourself.

And idk wth you're talking about how Bergevin went to go see his own AHL team? idk how that relates to STL or to this conversation for that matter. You're just spewing absolute nonsense.

16.) 30 Jan 2018 00:47:54
Yes I do think these trades make sense. I wouldn’t have said they do and explained myself if I didn’t lol. If I was a blues fan and they were that close to being the class of the league, I would want my team to show the commitment to today and reward the fans by trying to win a cup instead of being satisfied with being good by not great for a longer time. You keep bragging about these 3 or 4 c/ RW prospects the blues have that you think will be really good players, but not willing to sacrifice 1 to really increase your chance of winning now. Seems dumb to want to watch your favourite team keep repeating failing in the playoffs and getting ready for next season or the one after rather than go for it. By the time these kids are in their prime, pietrangelo, tarasenko, parakyko, Schwartz, Schenn etc are on the wrong side of 30. rubbish or get off the pot.

17.) 30 Jan 2018 01:31:45
Once again please educate yourself Hamilton bulldogs ate an ohl team. All these rumors are fabricated. But hey 23 days till deadline let's see who is right and who is wrong. But once again you do not tske the blues needs into consideration so let me spell it out for you one more time.

Right wingers
Elc contracts

Non needs
Leftwing erst
More cap without cap going back.
Taking on a useless aged veteran who won't make team.

Once again speculation is speculation. But if you look at all the factors and look past desires you can put together the logical equation. I don't see a trade here.

18.) 30 Jan 2018 01:38:07
@hoff, Montreal’s farm team is in Laval Quebec now. Hamilton bulldogs is OHL, it’s where the Belleville Bulls moved one the AHL team left. But you’re right on the rest of it. He’s colt. Don’t worry about him lol I’m done trying to talk to him. Anyone who thinks 1 single blues prospect who hasn’t proven anything other than he's better than 15-19 year olds are worth more than teams top line forwards doesn’t deserve anymore responses.

26 Jan 2018 04:16:22
- Hoffman (5.1m)
- Ceci (2.8m)
- Brown (ELC)

- Parayko (5.5m)
- Fabbri (ELC)
- 3rd

I doubt Parayko is moving anywhere and it would probably take a crazy huge package to move him out of STL, but what's it like on value ? lmk

1.) 26 Jan 2018 04:36:38
Honestly would think Ottawa would want a LHD to play with Karlsson (assuming he resigns) instead of another righty.

2.) 26 Jan 2018 04:37:40
That's not enough for Parayko and Fabbri.

3.) 26 Jan 2018 04:59:28
McJesus . I was thinking that Parayko would play w Chabot on the 2nd pair.

Phaneuf - Karlsson
Chabot - Parayko
Boroweicki - Wideman

Honestly i'm fine with anyone playing w Karl. I just want a Solid RHD to play w Chabot.

4.) 26 Jan 2018 05:22:58
Parayko would only be traded for a stud young center. Think drais, nylander+ ect. Not for that.

5.) 26 Jan 2018 11:24:12
Parayko for Draisaitl again? We know it’s you Colt, just admit it and stop worrying about a few immature people on this site.

6.) 26 Jan 2018 13:06:39
You want Parayko without giving up Karlson? Start with Dushene add Colin White then Chabot . that's duch, White, chabot . Too much? Okay well don't knock on our door that's the price you cheap Ott fans.

7.) 26 Jan 2018 14:33:14
lol relax bro. jesus . haha.

8.) 26 Jan 2018 17:01:48
Lmao ok colt forgot you’re the gm.

9.) 26 Jan 2018 17:30:19
LOL. Colt65 is an embarrassment to Colt55. Is Redwing1 the same person as both Colts. I could see the same person being all three.

10.) 26 Jan 2018 17:39:38
Lol parayko just isn't getting moved. Duchene white Chabot is a good haul but not what blues are really looking for. Whit is average center 2/ 3c. Blues do not need another lh ld to replace parayko they would want a rhd, duchene at this point just doesn't look good.

I see colt is very excited about this one. But still think blues should trade to Detroit for my quiet hopefully my team can start the much needed rebuild maybe get a better coach in the process.

11.) 26 Jan 2018 21:18:49
Parayko isn't getting moved. unless. say part of a deal for . Tavares?

12.) 26 Jan 2018 23:33:37
Don’t worry about him Hoff, it’s just colt lol. That last part about Karlsson is even worded exactly how he used to word everything when he got offended. Also yesterday he was called out for supposedly being a ‘redwing’ but commenting on nothing but blues posts, today I see he posted on a mike green one saying ‘we’ lol very clever. Just be colt again.

13.) 26 Jan 2018 23:34:04
Now colt is back to being colt!

14.) 26 Jan 2018 23:35:02
I’d do Paryanko for Nylander or Paryanko for Drais for sure if i'm EDM no wat Saint Louis touches that i don’t understand how people believe he is as good as Nylander/ Mathews/ Marner. Paryanko is a way faster Shea Weber he’ll be a star.

15.) 26 Jan 2018 23:41:46
Not enough for Hoffman and brown, let alone adding Ceci.

16.) 27 Jan 2018 19:31:51
Paryanko a future shea Weber! Hahaha, ya, 18 goals in 211 games just screams shea weber.

10 Jan 2018 00:57:22
- Hoffman

- Fabbri
- '18 1st
- '19 3rd

1.) 10 Jan 2018 02:05:03
No from st louis

2.) 10 Jan 2018 04:49:23
Blues do not have a 1st 2018

Doubt blues give up on fabbri.

3.) 10 Jan 2018 14:57:19
Let's be real youe wanting a haul that taverns would get (I get he would get more than offered) .

Fabric though injured was on pace for a 20 goal sophomore year and is an amazing player high bust boom reward with injury vs sure thing prior to injury. And a 1st plus a 3rd. You need to curve your expectations. You will be lucky to get a 1st and b prospect.

4.) 11 Jan 2018 02:08:08
STL traded Lehtera, 2017 1st and conditional 2018 1st for Schenn.
What's the condition on the 2018 1st?

5.) 11 Jan 2018 02:10:16
Oh it's 2018 top 10 protected. If STL 2018 1st is in the top ten then they can move it to 2019. If they move it to 2019 then Philly gets a 2020 3rd as well.

But I don't think it will be top ten.

They got a first in the pens Reaves deal and a first in the Shattenkirk caps deal. So they made some good picks 2017 draft.

6.) 11 Jan 2018 14:33:47
yes that thomas kid looks like he has 1c 2way potential. Kyrou and Kostin lit it up during the WJC. I wouldn't mind getting one of those guys. But if i was blues i wouldn't trade them at all.

7.) 11 Jan 2018 17:24:49
They have some good pieces there. So not having a 1st this year isn't the worst thing.
Losing Stastny and his $7M as UFA at seasons end is nice too.

05 Jan 2018 02:20:34
Just curious about what prospects everyone is wanting their team to draft this upcoming year. If the draft were today and your team was picking. Who would you pick? (that would realistically be available at that pick)

1. ARZ
2. BUF
3. OTT
4. MTL
5. EDM
6. VAN
7. FLA
8. DET
9. PHI
10. CGY
11. PIT
12. COL
13. NYI
14. CHI
15. CAR
16. MIN
17. SJS
18. ANA
19. DAL
20. NYR
21. TOR
22. CBJ
23. BOS
24. NSH
25. NJD
26. STL
27. WSH
28. LAK
29. WPG
30. VGK
31. TBL

1.) 05 Jan 2018 16:29:48
I hope the Leafs take the player who slips the most they don’t really need to draft for positional need but at the 21 mark I think they’d target Jared McIsaac of the Halifax Mooseheads. A very safe prospect who excels with defensive play. It won’t take him long to step up to the NHL.

2.) 05 Jan 2018 16:32:48
Well Flames have no 1st or 2nd this year so it looks like we’ll be missing out.

3.) 05 Jan 2018 23:48:28

Noah Dobson.

4.) 06 Jan 2018 09:41:54
Almost impossible to predict at this point this the standings and draft rankings can flucuate so much but anywho Jake McBain would be the guy i would want the leafs to get their hands on. This is also who i would take for each team in the top 15 as well.

ARZ) Dahlin
BUF) Zadina
OTT) Svechnikov
MTL) Boqvist
EDM) Hughes
VAN) Tkachuk
FLA) Smith
DET) Wilde
PHI) Whalstrom
NYI) * Bouchard
PIT) Veleno
COL) Farabee
NYI) McLeod
CHI) Dobson
CAR) Kupari.

5.) 07 Jan 2018 23:20:36
Veleno won’t go that high super overrated he’s a bust I’m calling it right now. I’d rather my team draft Anderson MacDonald then Veleno. He has an NHL release.

20 Nov 2017 01:15:32
Don't watch either of these teams much but worth a shot.

TOR: Kadri, 1st
CAR: Faulk, 3rd

Fits both teams needs, I think.

1.) 21 Nov 2017 23:17:41
as much as i like faulk his game is similar to riellys, not the kind of top pariing dman the leafs should go for, and kadri is too good and on too nice of a deal to trade him, good agitator with lots of skill.

24 Jul 2017 16:47:31
Sens sign Johnny Oduya to a 1 yr 1M contract.

I love it. Low risk signing.

It does affect Chabots place in the depth chart and chances of making the team out of camp. But a little competition never hurt.

It could even lead to sens trading a defenseman?? I know there was talks about Phaneuf for Gaborik.

Thoughts on the signing?

1.) 25 Jul 2017 13:08:27
With Oduya their LHD are Phaneuf, Claesson, Chabot, Oduya, Boro. The fact that signing bonuses for games played are built into Oduya's contract means I don't think he'll be too high on the depth chart.

Realistically they should put Chabot or Claesson with Karlsson to start the year and see how it goes.

2.) 25 Jul 2017 19:37:27
Great signing. Solid d man and will replace Methot.

3.) 26 Jul 2017 17:08:39
Way rather have Phaneuf over Gaborik even with him costing more and having more term. Atleast Phaneuf is useful.

28 Feb 2017 00:45:54
Oh my good god. Vancouver, thank the hell out of Pierre Dorion. Man...

OTT: Jonathan Dahlen
VAN: Alex Burrows

We got absolutely fleeced.

Vancouver, you guys got a damn stud in Dahlen. I'd put him higher than Logan Brown on our prospect list... -.-

Lool. McJesus . Stone is 24. that's not "old" at all. He's is not going Anywhere. and Hoff is 27. just entering his prime.

Interesting . EDM fans don't like that trade and i can't believe any Sens fan would want that trade . that's what's called a lose lose . Stone isn't going anywhere. He's been our best player this year . and We didn't trade Hoffman because he's tearing it up with Duchene. As good as Puljujarvi and Moto are, You would literally lose every single Sens fan in the world if you trade those two for prospects. Dorion was said to have rejected a "future driven offer" for hoff already so i can only imagine he wants immediate help.
