CHI: Panik , + 2 other players
ARZ: Duclair

1.) 10 Jan 2018 23:16:58
Adam Clendenning is part of the deal too.

2.) 10 Jan 2018 23:18:29
OFFICIAL:

ARZ: Duclair, Clendening

CHI: Panik, Dauphin.

3.) 11 Jan 2018 00:06:12
Honestly this ****ing brutal like how the hell does Chicago pull off another one sided trade like I don’t understand how they win every single trade? There’s no way Arizona thinks this is a fair trade like come on league is rigged.

4.) 11 Jan 2018 02:32:06
Ya idk McJesus. CHI didn't even retain too.

5.) 11 Jan 2018 03:34:14
I heard that GM's don't want to trade for Duclair because he is hard to coach.

6.) 11 Jan 2018 03:47:58
Why do you think Duclair is that valuable? Lol you’re making it sound like it’s jvr for Schenn part 2. It’s 4 pretty insignificant players trading spots. I know Duclair seems to have the most upside but it’s also widely reported that they have tried to trade him for over a year and this was the best they could get. He has attitude issues and doesn’t have the offense to back up his negative qualities. Clearly 31 gms believed this is the most he’s worth. A lot of players a lot more talented than him have been very irrelevant because they wouldn’t get out of their own way.

7.) 11 Jan 2018 03:55:54
Arizona is just happy to get rid of him. Chayka said his problems goes back long long ago. Player didn't want to be there and team didn't want the player.
I honestly used to really like Duclair, but unless he completely changes his attitude and grows up, he won't be anything special.
And I think Chicago is the organization to straighten him out.

8.) 11 Jan 2018 04:39:07
Really wishing my team would made a play for him. He's young. can still be a solid player and potential 30 goal man.

9.) 11 Jan 2018 04:40:28
Not saying he has loads of value at all just how does Chicago always find a way to absolutely burn the other team.

10.) 11 Jan 2018 05:00:04
Also panik is only 26, his best season is 22g 44pts last season, Duclairs is 20g 44pts but 2 years ago. They have very similar stats this year (6g 10a for 16 pts in 37 games vs 9g 6a 15pts in 33 games) Panik has also fit into a few different teams now and you never hear bad character/ attitude reports. Your oilers would have been able to get him for the same price, blame your GM not a “rigged league” haha.

11.) 11 Jan 2018 05:00:24
Potential 30 goal man I can’t see, but he’s young with speed and skill. But if he does got an attitude that’s a big issue and this is the second time he’s been traded and he’s young, not a great sign but if he can fix that then he could be a good player.

12.) 11 Jan 2018 05:07:56
Plus . Look for him to start with Toews and Saad. Hawks have been looking for and option on that RW to complete that line.

13.) 11 Jan 2018 06:06:42
Hes not hard to coach people just assume rubbish cause his black just people said about ignla back in the day more recenly subban kane stewart bufflyn you just makeing yourself look raciest.

14.) 11 Jan 2018 12:54:18
Idk why everyone makes it that Chicago makes out like bandits?

Panik has 16 pts in 37 games after 44 in 82 last year. he's on pace for roughly the same. he's played well. i don't think the dofference between him and duclair is big, bsides the cap hits.

and honestly, i'd rather have laurent than clendening. dauphin can be something in the nhl, clendening has just fallen off a cliff.

15.) 11 Jan 2018 14:30:48
22 years old and now on his 3rd team says all you need to know about Duclair!

16.) 11 Jan 2018 19:19:44
Alexei yashin and Alex kovalev both had bad attitudes at times in their careers and were viewed as difficult, 2 white guys, and before you say now we hate blacks and Russians lol. Eric Lindros. The difference between Duclair and lindros is that lindros has the numbers and on ice success to balance out being a pain in the ass. Deciding if a guy like that is worth keeping around is a ratio of how productive the player is vs how distracting and disfunctional he makes a team, not shade of his skin.

17.) 11 Jan 2018 20:01:36
There’s nothing racist about it. It’s been said by coaches, gms and media close to the teams he’s played for that he is difficult and has a poor attitude. Don’t make it about race, you sound stupid. Wayne Simmonds is a guy that gets a ton of respect because you never hear bad stories about him. He seems to have his life together off the ice and plays a very honest game on the ice. Joel ward also comes to mind when saying that. And on the contrary, there’s plenty of white players who have been called difficult and told they have a bad attitude.

18.) 12 Jan 2018 00:15:30
Woah wtf. Race has absolutely nothing to do with it.

19.) 12 Jan 2018 00:51:53
thats a new level of stupidity HIGH247. Not being a fan of one black player does not make someone a racist. Your proposals were never great but entertaining and had conversations and debates going, but you have definitely lost any respect I had and hopefully others had with that BS.

20.) 12 Jan 2018 02:51:10
Is 24/ 7 Golden showers?

10 Jan 2018 23:00:04
Apparently Duclair is heading to CHI according to Elliot Friedman

1.) 11 Jan 2018 23:31:04
I would love to know who clicked unbelievable for this.

05 Jan 2018 02:11:31
Alright. Its starting to get to that time of year to start selling for my Sens.
__________________________________________
OTT: Brassard
CBJ: '18 1st

CBJ gets a top-6 Center who could even play behind PLD and be a good 3rd line Center.
__________________________________________
OTT: Smith
BOS: 3rd

BOS gets a good gritty 200ft LW. great on the PK. Can play anywhere in lineup.
__________________________________________
OTT: Oduya
WPG: 5th

WPG gets a veteran LHD who has loads of playoff experience and 2 Cup rings. Good for a cup run.
__________________________________________
OTT: Thompson
NJD: 4th

NJD get a defensive center to replace what they lost in Henrique (defensively), and a great PK and faceoff man. Good in playoffs.
__________________________________________
OTT: Burrows
DAL: 6th

Apparently there has been *some* interest in Burrows. which is absolutely dumbfounding, but ok.
__________________________________________

Buyout Dion's contract at the end of the season (1.65m for the next 6yrs)...

Not very fun trades, but small trades that would allow for our young players to get some time in the NHL.

*I am aware that Sens would have to take back some contracts*

Let me know what you guys think. kind of nothing trades, but still.

1.) 05 Jan 2018 07:40:30
Burrows is worth a 6th.
Can’t believe you guys traded a actually good prospect for him.

2.) 05 Jan 2018 16:14:50
Don’t think Brassard would won’t to go back to the jackets. But he dosent have an NMC so that dosent matter.

04 Jan 2018 12:29:55
Idea from Ray Ferraro on TSN.

EDM: Nuge
MTL: Patches

idk. straight up? i would think that EDM adds a third or smth. Let me know what you guys think.

1.) 04 Jan 2018 13:17:31
Nuge is 24 > patches 29
Nuge has 15g 14a -1 > patches 8g 13a
Nuge 6mil patches 2yr
Nuge center > patches lw

All in all I think Nuge holds more value than patches does not by much but he has term decent salary and is a center will be 28 at end of contract.

2.) 04 Jan 2018 16:01:11
last 5 years Max is top 4 in scoring in the NHL. Mtl needs to ask for more.

3.) 04 Jan 2018 17:20:08
He’s playing so bad! His value is down. You can’t base it off just previous success.

4.) 04 Jan 2018 17:23:11
Not on a declining plAyer if the got back a legit 2way center that gets 60 pts he would auto be their #1.

5.) 04 Jan 2018 17:23:30
Signeed for 4 years atv6 not bad.

6.) 04 Jan 2018 17:25:54
Stop looking at last four years. Max isn't getting any younger so why does that even matter anyways lol. Look at right now and the future. Is he going to maintain his form?

7.) 04 Jan 2018 17:58:40
Yah I totally agree with crazy attack ohh and let me guess Crosby ( 30 ) is less valuable then Josh Bailey. Josh has more points this year so he’s clearly way more valuable. Crosby’s last 12 years of success mean nothing right? @Crazyattack7.

8.) 04 Jan 2018 20:55:02
Nylander, idk why you keep bringing up Josh Bailey. he's been a 50 point guy for the last couple of years, and he's finally cemented himself as a good player in this league.

9.) 04 Jan 2018 21:05:58
Don't compare crosby to pacioretty. Crosby is a generational talent that will be on Hall of Fame one day. Patches will never be. Pacioretty was never an elite player. Don't get me wrong he was good, but not an elite player that's a game changer like crosby. You have to take in consideration what kind of player he is.

10.) 04 Jan 2018 21:43:10
Huh. well that gave Zero insight on the trade. lol.

11.) 04 Jan 2018 21:47:20
I don't want Patches for Nuge. But I do want a better top six winger than Maroon for next season, and Patches could be a fit. We need the top six wingers to be 20+ ol goal guys. Right now it's looking like our top 3 centres are the goal scorers.
We need 3 of the 4 top 6 wingers to be 20+ goal scorers even one to be a 40 maybe with McDavid.
But if we do get a patches or Hoffman or E Kane type of guy for top line LW in hope 3 of him, Puljujarvi, Lucic and (Moto maybe? ) . 3 of the 4 top 6 wingers need to be over 20 goals is my hope for next year. Especially if Nuge is traded and its McDavid and Driasitl as the centres.

12.) 04 Jan 2018 23:52:33
Wait until off season to see what's up. A deal like this even made more sense end of November time. Not now.
I don't want Patches for Nuge anyways.

13.) 04 Jan 2018 23:45:16
Is it weird that I actually agree with all those who say this deal is horrible for edm lol.

14.) 05 Jan 2018 03:24:58
Patches is top 5 in the nhl in shots taken this season but he dosent get the scoring chances because he’s on such a bad team. He’s in his prime and needs a trade. He can still be a 40 goal scorer.

15.) 05 Jan 2018 10:57:54
Either Montreal adds or no way from Edm. This years performance is what counts. Habs fans are funny again.

16.) 06 Jan 2018 09:42:33
Patches is nowhere near top 5 in nhl. You want to use teams they play for as an argument why they are worth more or less I could argue that Crosby is worth less than eichel as he is over achieving based on his all star like teams every year. does it make that statement true? Not even close just like your patches comment.

17.) 06 Jan 2018 16:40:33
He said top 5 in the league in shots on goal ramtard, at the moment it goes ovechkin (181), tarasenko (179), seguin (174), e. kane (168), burns (164) and pacioretty (159). you can compare crosby to eichel all you want, you'll still never have a clue.

28 Dec 2017 22:40:50
OTT: Brassard
WPG: '18 1st

top 6 center to replace Scheiffle while he's injured and add to their Center depth

1.) 28 Dec 2017 23:33:29
What about this instead?

WPG: 2018 1st Round Pick, 2018 2nd Round Pick, Petan
OTT: Duschene.

2.) 29 Dec 2017 00:00:01
I wouldn't trade duchene yet. Its been less than 20 games and he's still trying to establish himself. Well see at the end of the season.

3.) 29 Dec 2017 18:38:47
If the sens were trading duchene, that would be a god awful return from the jets.

4.) 29 Dec 2017 23:13:30
I like the trade and I would not trade Duchene.

5.) 30 Dec 2017 21:58:22
First one ok but Duchene one is just no! If sens trade Duchene the get back same value they gave up for him no less!

10 Jan 2018 00:57:22
OTT:
- Hoffman

STL:
- Fabbri
- '18 1st
- '19 3rd

1.) 10 Jan 2018 02:05:03
No from st louis

2.) 10 Jan 2018 04:49:23
Blues do not have a 1st 2018

Doubt blues give up on fabbri.

3.) 10 Jan 2018 14:57:19
Let's be real youe wanting a haul that taverns would get (I get he would get more than offered) .

Fabric though injured was on pace for a 20 goal sophomore year and is an amazing player high bust boom reward with injury vs sure thing prior to injury. And a 1st plus a 3rd. You need to curve your expectations. You will be lucky to get a 1st and b prospect.

4.) 11 Jan 2018 02:08:08
STL traded Lehtera, 2017 1st and conditional 2018 1st for Schenn.
What's the condition on the 2018 1st?

5.) 11 Jan 2018 02:10:16
Oh it's 2018 top 10 protected. If STL 2018 1st is in the top ten then they can move it to 2019. If they move it to 2019 then Philly gets a 2020 3rd as well.

But I don't think it will be top ten.

They got a first in the pens Reaves deal and a first in the Shattenkirk caps deal. So they made some good picks 2017 draft.

6.) 11 Jan 2018 14:33:47
yes that thomas kid looks like he has 1c 2way potential. Kyrou and Kostin lit it up during the WJC. I wouldn't mind getting one of those guys. But if i was blues i wouldn't trade them at all.

7.) 11 Jan 2018 17:24:49
They have some good pieces there. So not having a 1st this year isn't the worst thing.
Losing Stastny and his $7M as UFA at seasons end is nice too.

05 Jan 2018 02:20:34
Just curious about what prospects everyone is wanting their team to draft this upcoming year. If the draft were today and your team was picking. Who would you pick? (that would realistically be available at that pick)

1. ARZ
2. BUF
3. OTT
4. MTL
5. EDM
6. VAN
7. FLA
8. DET
9. PHI
10. CGY
11. PIT
12. COL
13. NYI
14. CHI
15. CAR
16. MIN
17. SJS
18. ANA
19. DAL
20. NYR
21. TOR
22. CBJ
23. BOS
24. NSH
25. NJD
26. STL
27. WSH
28. LAK
29. WPG
30. VGK
31. TBL

1.) 05 Jan 2018 16:29:48
I hope the Leafs take the player who slips the most they don’t really need to draft for positional need but at the 21 mark I think they’d target Jared McIsaac of the Halifax Mooseheads. A very safe prospect who excels with defensive play. It won’t take him long to step up to the NHL.

2.) 05 Jan 2018 16:32:48
Well Flames have no 1st or 2nd this year so it looks like we’ll be missing out.

3.) 05 Jan 2018 23:48:28
Edmonton:

Noah Dobson.

4.) 06 Jan 2018 09:41:54
Almost impossible to predict at this point this the standings and draft rankings can flucuate so much but anywho Jake McBain would be the guy i would want the leafs to get their hands on. This is also who i would take for each team in the top 15 as well.

ARZ) Dahlin
BUF) Zadina
OTT) Svechnikov
MTL) Boqvist
EDM) Hughes
VAN) Tkachuk
FLA) Smith
DET) Wilde
PHI) Whalstrom
NYI) * Bouchard
PIT) Veleno
COL) Farabee
NYI) McLeod
CHI) Dobson
CAR) Kupari.

5.) 07 Jan 2018 23:20:36
Veleno won’t go that high super overrated he’s a bust I’m calling it right now. I’d rather my team draft Anderson MacDonald then Veleno. He has an NHL release.

20 Nov 2017 01:15:32
Don't watch either of these teams much but worth a shot.

TOR: Kadri, 1st
CAR: Faulk, 3rd

Fits both teams needs, I think.

1.) 21 Nov 2017 23:17:41
as much as i like faulk his game is similar to riellys, not the kind of top pariing dman the leafs should go for, and kadri is too good and on too nice of a deal to trade him, good agitator with lots of skill.

24 Jul 2017 16:47:31
Sens sign Johnny Oduya to a 1 yr 1M contract.

I love it. Low risk signing.

It does affect Chabots place in the depth chart and chances of making the team out of camp. But a little competition never hurt.

It could even lead to sens trading a defenseman?? I know there was talks about Phaneuf for Gaborik.

Thoughts on the signing?

1.) 25 Jul 2017 13:08:27
With Oduya their LHD are Phaneuf, Claesson, Chabot, Oduya, Boro. The fact that signing bonuses for games played are built into Oduya's contract means I don't think he'll be too high on the depth chart.

Realistically they should put Chabot or Claesson with Karlsson to start the year and see how it goes.

2.) 25 Jul 2017 19:37:27
Great signing. Solid d man and will replace Methot.

3.) 26 Jul 2017 17:08:39
Way rather have Phaneuf over Gaborik even with him costing more and having more term. Atleast Phaneuf is useful.

28 Feb 2017 00:45:54
Oh my good god. Vancouver, thank the hell out of Pierre Dorion. Man...

OTT: Jonathan Dahlen
VAN: Alex Burrows

We got absolutely fleeced.

Vancouver, you guys got a damn stud in Dahlen. I'd put him higher than Logan Brown on our prospect list... -.-

No from OTT imo, (probs biased) but Stone should be untouchable, without brassard we have a huge hole in our top 6 and you can have Ceci for free. lol.
