1.) Edmonton already has Ottawa's third from th Hemsky deal last season.
Considering Ryan is on an average or slightly above average contract and the fact Ottawa gave up some solid assets I think it would take a lot more than Hamhuis and a 3rd to get him, try Hamhuis and a 1st.
I would rather keep Condra (can't believe I am saying that) then have to deal with watching Jokinen play in a sens jersey for the rest of the season, that's not why I bought season seats.
Ottawa just resigned Methot like 8 hours after you posted this.
Essentially Ottawa gives up a lot of future a lot of currents and a lot of assets for a few assets and mid round picks that don't quite equate to the value and presence lost. They actually get a lot worse.

Vancouver deal: lol. START with a prospect and a first rounder.
4.) Vancouver deal: Make it Bieksa and Matthias and maybe a pick and you probably have a deal.
5.) 2) Why would Ottawa trade Ryan? They LOVE Ryan and JUST signed him to a 7 year extension. And even if they did, it'll take a lot more than Hamhuis and 3rd.
3) Ottawa will NOT trade with Toronto and certainly will not take Winnik or Jokinen. Makes absolutely no sense.
4) Again, Methot is LOVED in Ottawa and just signed an extension.
Terrible all around.
6.) The Vancouver trade makes me wonder if you've ever watched a hockey game. Why on earth would the sens trade their only offensive threat for a washes up d-man and 3rd round pick?
7.) @Sensfan69 Hamhuis isn't washed up. He's amazing. You must have him confused with Bieksa.
8.) Wasn't Hamhuis on Team Canada last year, lol, yeah he's washed up.

1.) I'd rather give up Dumoulin than Harrington but I would prefer Sutter over Vermette.
2.) Sutter is an anchor and the Pens need to get rid of him.

1.) I can't see Helm being traded from DET
2.) Though there is talk he wants to play for willie in van. s will see depends on if he wants to resign or not he might be thrown out for bait.
3.) His line with Pav & Tats is one of the hottest in the NHL right now, if they do move Helm I can't see it being now.

1.) You can't actually think this would be the best deal ARZ would receive for Vermette, one of the most sought-after players leading up to the deadline? Want them to throw in Domi while they're at it? Gimme a break.
2.) Habs should pass on Vermette. better off looking to land a right winger

1.) MTL wouldn't give up subban for that. especially when they're making a playoff run

3.) Possible.
4.) I would do that trade in a heartbeat but I am also a pretty big Oullet fan.
5.) Detroit says No. Too much risk for a UFA!!
6.) Probably right in line with what Nonis would want/expect
