2.) 19 Jun 2018 21:25:55
No from the nhl, Vegas already traded their pick to detroit.

3.) 19 Jun 2018 21:54:18
Hrenklin lay off the dope bud.

4.) 19 Jun 2018 22:50:37
Hrenklin it litterly states Detroit is making the trade.

Edmonton: Athanasiou

Detroit: 40th overall

Athanasiou is likely gone this year, would be a very effective and speedy winger for McDavid.

Would love for that to happen.

2.) 20 Jun 2018 03:33:15
Oilers would jump all over this.

Who can realistically meet Winnipeg's asking price for Trouba? A left handed D with similar skilL. Fowler, Krug, Brodie, Reilly? Boston's defense is very weak, and i don't think they want to trade their best d man right now for a slight upgrade. With Chara really declining, Bostons left side would be super exposed. Brodie isn't going anywhere and I don't think Toronto is willing to give up Reilly to get Trouba. That only leaves Fowler, and Anaheim isn't looking for a d man in a return for Fowler, they need a scoring winger. This could make for a 3 way trade.

Detroit has been a major player in each of these and needs a true top 4 d man. This is how i think it turns out.

DET: Trouba

ANA: Nyquist

WPG: Fowler, Marchenko/ Sproul.

The reality is Winnipeg isn't going to get what they are asking for. They will take a close second, but still get very good value for Trouba.

2.) 11 Oct 2016 16:48:47
And no 3-way trades.

16 Jun 2016 02:48:18
Col: Barrie

Det: Tatar + Ouellet/ Smith

Wpg: Trouba

Possible three way trade, don't see much having to be added, maybe a draft pic with the d man.

Do not think the Pens will do this (not with todays ownership situation) but it adresses to Pittsbugh needs: Kunitz, Dupuis, Perron, Sutter and Spalling will turn FA in next 1-2 years and Pens do not have enough cap-friendly prospects to fill-up their roster.

To replace all five (3 top six,2 3rd line) players via free agency they will not leave enough cap-space (average:

2.) 13 Jun 2015 04:07:06
Detroit may trade for Malkin. I don't see the need for Nash when we are pretty stacked on the wings. Personally, I don't see Detroit trading for either.

3.) 13 Jun 2015 15:15:09
Doubt Detroit gives away Mantha

when was the last 3-way trade in the NHL? That's right, they never happen. This isn't baseball or basketball where they can sometimes become feasible.

The likely outcome is they trade Trouba for a lesser left-handed defender and another piece or two because, well, why would anyone help WPG and give them an equally-talented defender whom is almost surely cheaper when they're painted into a bit of a corner here?

2.) 11 Oct 2016 02:56:53
Ouch my brain.

3.) 11 Oct 2016 05:40:47
I mean it's not bad but I don't think Nyquist holds that kind of value (and I like Gus a lot) . Look at what young top 4 D have got in return lately, it takes an over pay to pry them out. Gus is coming off a down year too (Aswell as everyone in Detroit minus Larkin) which saw him score 10 less goals then the previous. I don't think his value is particularly high at the moment. Also isn't he a RW? Maybe he can play on the left because that's what the Ducks need. Maybe Tatar instead of Gus would make more sense?

Edmonton would be giving up this year's 10th ovr instead of a 2019 pick.

Nylander alone would be enough, if not more than Hamilton.

If there is a first going the other way, it will be in next years draft and it would be a conditional 1st based on Green re-signing
