Arizona needs financially to make playoffs this season and someone to take over for Smith in the future. Leafs get their rebuild going

Realistically, Arizona is going to want back some really good young pieces for the 3rd overall pick. They don't want a player in their prime, they are not in win now mode. So if it's a scenario where you want TO to keep the 3rd and the 4th here is my suggestion:
ARZ: 24th overall 2015, 1st 2016(lottery protected), Nylander, Percy
TOR: 3rd overall

So a rebuilding team trades out their big contract and 2 other players to another rebuilding team for their top prospect and 3rd overall? In what way does this help Arizona? They take on crap and give up essential building blocks. Typical leafs fan thought process: all that matters is the leafs get what they want.

I would want B Jenner in that trade somehow, former captain of the Oshawa Generals . Would look REAL good in a Leaf uniform.
