Two thumbs up for Chevy for getting the deal done and feeling out the market at the right time.
Ladd had his chance to sign a month or 2 ago for the 6yr/ $6m deal but he didn't.
Jets getting a good young player in Dano and a 2016 1st rounder in what's going to be a very strong draft in the 1st round is a great move on Chevy.
Being from Winnipeg and a huge Jets fan I'm happy Ladd gets the opportunity to play for a Champion. With the Jets not making the playoffs this season I will be cheering for Ladd and the Hawks to win the cup. The Hawks definitely have a better player in Ladd then they did last time they had him.

Yzerman has said he wants someone who can fit in the lineup now and help a cup run. I'm not Zibanejad is ready for that. He's still young and needs growth.
A good young player and a 1st rounder for Drouin would be my idea.

The Leafs would want Dano but not the other 2 guys. I'm sure of that. Bickels $4mil deal or even 50%. Come on now. Leafs want to strip the payroll and get younger.

Im not sure I like this trade. realistically I don't know if the Isles (Garth Snow) will take this deal. He's said if I trade Hamonic it will be for equal value for another Defensemen. Schultzy doesn't even come close to Hamonic.

A risky trade for Canucks... Drouin seems hard to please. Carle would be a bottom 6 D-man.
