Chicago trades Bickel, Scuderi, Dano, 3rd to the Leafs for Lupul, Hunwick, Boyes.

Bickell and Scuderi are both complete cap dumps, both in the AHL, Scuderi being 37 and their contracts together = to 6.25 mil.

Lpul is on a contract for 5.25 million, and is still considered to many as a top 6 forward. If put on a line with Toews and Hossa, Lupul could thrive. Chicaco also gets a very reliable bottom pairing Dman in Hunwick and a depth forward in Boyes both on very cheap contracts. Chicacgo doesn't just get playoff hwlp and get rid of their cap dumps for free, they need to throw in a prospect like Marko Dano and atleast a 3rd rd pick. With where the market currently stands today, Hunwick could probably get a 3 or 4th rd pick alone and Boyes could get a 5th. Lupul is getting overpayed but the Leafs are taking on two very bad contracts so I see this as very beneficial for a contender like Chicago and a team for the future like Toronto.

Instead of Boyes you send Cowen that way chi can buy him out and get the Cap space a extra million that help them more then Boyes

Chi probley rather Hartman over Dano tho.

The Leafs would want Dano but not the other 2 guys. I'm sure of that. Bickels $4mil deal or even 50%. Come on now. Leafs want to strip the payroll and get younger.
