That's too much for Hampus Lindholm as a rental. Like others have said it'd have to be a sign and trade to get that for him.

No I agree i think if Canes do this they intend on keeping him. They don’t really like rentals and Don doesn’t like to make moves just for of it.

Its aggressive, but that's what it takes at the deadline. It also seems like something Carolina would do.

As for "sign and trade", that is something that happens in the offseason, not at the fast-moving trade deadline.
