This offer doesn't have enough quality in it for a 23 year old 1C. Buffalo would want at least one very good player back, not 4 maybes.

Quantity for quality trade. The quantity has some quality to it, but no one piece comes even close to Eichel right now. And that might never change. In 5 years Buffalo could be either big winners or big losers.

Sabres have a great new bench boss. I expect good things from them next year. I doubt they trade Eichel until they see how the team does up until deadline anyway.

Suzuki is not a maybe, he’s proven he can produce after his amazing rookie season.

MagicMark relax these guys think that Byram who has not played a game at ANY pro level is an elite player already where as Suzuki who finished 7th in rookie scoring and is a top 6 Centre already is a maybe, not to mention Vbbbvvbb who thinks that his offers are somehow the best on the site. When in reality they aren't

I did a whole comparison n Vbbbvvbb The real Balboski and myself showing that both the real Balboski and I had significantly better offers for Eichel.

The break down went this

Trade #1

Flyers: Jack Eichel

Buffalo: JVR (cap), Travis Sanhiem, Nolan Patrick, Joel Farbree and 1st 2021

Trade #2
Rangers: Jack Eichel

Buffalo: Fllip Chytil, Vitaly Kravstov, Mark Staal( cap ), 1st 2020 and 1st 2021

JVR & Staal cap dumps no to little value

Sandhiem = Suzuki = Chlatil + Gustaffson

Patrick = 1st or (2nd + 3rd) = Brown

Farbree = Norlinder = NYI 1st

1st = extra 1st I said may need to be added = 2023 1st (a 1st is a 1st no matter what year it is for)

Trade #2
Rangers: Jack Eichel

Buffalo: Fllip Chytil, Vitaly Kravstov, Mark Staal( cap ), 1st 2020 and 1st 2021

Chytil = Suzuki = Chlapic + Gustaffson

Kracstov = Norlinder = Brown

Staal cap dump no value

2020 1st = 2021 1st = NYI 2020 1st

2021 1st = 2023 1st

Kavstov>>>>>>>>>Norlininder and Brown

He’s a potential elite player.

Chytil and Suzuki>>>>2 career AHLers/ press boxers.

Farabee is worth pretty much the whole Ottawa package basically. he is a star in the making.

Keep smoking the good stuff vbbvbb.

Kravstov is a much bigger bust than Brown will ever be and you damn well know it too! And you massively over value farabee, it's not even funny.

And campabee82 I agree with most of what you said but the draft picks part I did agree with 1 and the jury is still out on the other.

2023 1sts >>> 2021 1sts

2023 is going to be an extremely strong draft class while the class of 2021 is the complete opposite in that it is extremely weak.

And with the other 1, the Islanders 1st this year has potential to be the 13th overall in this year's draft which is the strongest class since 2003 if they lose to Florida in the play in round. That makes it at least 3 times better than any 2021 pick, and likely better than the 2020 1st you mentioned as well.

Vbbvbb is just too young and naive to understand the difference between true value and ea sports value lol.

Buffalo need a goalie, here is a trade that would make sense…

Price
Kotkaniemi
Domi
MTL 1st round pick 2020

for

Eichel
Montour

Salary wise, Price and Eichel make about the same, habs finally have a true number one center in Eichel and improve their defence with Montour.

Habs have goalie possibilities in free agency this year including Holtby to replace Price.
