Gonna have to add Hughes and a couple firsts. Marner is the most valuable player in the league according to Vb and can easily get 2 stars from any team xD.

1st of all I never said that. But why would Toronto want a pending UFA that’s way older ( 5 years ) . Marner is atleast equal to him talent wise anyway. NJ aren’t good trading partners with TO. Hall for Nylander maybe but then Hall would just leave at the end of the season.

Honestly I’d take Zaitsev over Severson. Severson is almost on Lucic level bad decent on PP but is ECHL 5 on 5.

Maybe I’m exaggerating the Lucic comparison but name a worse player then Lucic and Severson is pretty bad I’d say him and the Hall Injury were the two biggest reasons the devils missed the playoffs.

Flat out not true, coming from a Devils fan. He had 40 points and by the end of the year was playing fine in all situations. Devils if you recall have a good PK every year. He’s also a major asset on the power play and at evens.

Leafs rent Hall for a year. get something good back today. Jersey gets 4 firsts when Marner gets his RFA offer. Leafs are all in now. NJ rebuilding. could actually work.
