Washington Capitals become a powerhouse.

Sean Moneyhands

1.) 06 Dec 2019 14:58:33
Washington already is a powerhouse.

06 Dec 2019 09:06:24
To CGY :
• Andreas Athanasiou - C (2nd Line Center)

To DET :
• Tyler Parsons - G (Memorial Cup Champion Goalie Prospect)
• Carl-Johan Lerby - D (SHL Defensive Prospect)
• Milos Roman - C (WHL Forward Prospect)
• 2020 - 2nd Round Draft Pick

Parsons ( Selected 2nd Round, #54 Overall )
Lerby ( Undrafted )
Roman ( Selected 4th Round, #122 Overall )

Sean Moneyhands

1.) 06 Dec 2019 14:59:38
So Detroit doesn’t even get a 1st round pick or A-prospect for a 30 goal scorer?

2.) 06 Dec 2019 17:39:20
No thank you.

3.) 06 Dec 2019 21:01:14
Boy a trade that heavily favors the Flames.

4.) 07 Dec 2019 00:40:45
While I like Parsons, he doesn’t get you AA. The add ons are not enough either.

If we’re trading AA, we are getting a nice draft pick, nice Forward or Defense prospect as part of the deal.

Also not sure we will trade him unless were blown away with the offer.

( Hypothetical Trade )

To CGY :
• Carey Price

To MTL :
• Mikael Backlund
• Tj Brodie (extended under 5 mil)

Would habs fans pull the trigger?
Starter for 2C, Top 4 D, mid 1st, Elite Goalie Prospect.

Drouin - Danault - Gallagher
Domi - Backlund - Suzuki
Tatar - Kotkaniemi - Lehkonen
Byron - Cousins - Weal

Brodie - Weber
Mete - Petry
Chiarot - Kulak

Sean Moneyhands

1.) 06 Dec 2019 15:06:34
Montreal would have to truly believe Primeau is a better goalie than Price. And I don’t think anyone believes that at this point.

2.) 06 Dec 2019 15:59:28
Id do it.

3.) 06 Dec 2019 16:15:39
Whether Backlund is a legit 2C is debatable.

4.) 06 Dec 2019 18:30:39
At least the trade proposal doesn't include Frolik. all I got to say.

5.) 07 Dec 2019 15:35:24
I'd make this trade from Habs perspective.

20 Nov 2019 14:19:01
To CGY :
Taylor Hall (extended)

To NJD :
2020 - First Round Pick
Dustin Wolf
Jakob Pelletier
Milan Lucic (5.25 @ 3yr)

To CGY :
Tyson Barrie (5.50 @ 1yr)

To TOR :
Tj Brodie (4.65 @ 1yr)

To CGY :
2020 - Third Round Pick

To MTL :
Michael Frolik (4.30 @ 1yr)

Johnny Gaudreau - Elias Lindholm - Taylor Hall

Matthew Tkachuk - Sean Monahan - Andrew Mangiapane

Dillon Dube - Mikael Backlund - Tobias Rieder

Mark Jankowski - Derek Ryan - Alan Quine

Mark Giordano - Rasmus Andersson

Noah Hanifin - Travis Hamonic

Oliver Kylington - Tyson Barrie

Sean Moneyhands

1.) 20 Nov 2019 16:24:52
Tyson Barries salary is only 2.75 mil as 50% of his contract is retained by Colorado and he is also a lot better while being cheaper. Also not enough for Hall take out Lucic And it’s not bad.

2.) 20 Nov 2019 17:37:31
Very one sided trades in Calgary's favor.

3.) 20 Nov 2019 17:50:33
Taylor Hall NEVER extended. He's going to the open market no matter what so that kills that idea. Lucic in the trade. lolololol. please. Why would NJ want an unbuyoutable contract that needs Seattle draft exp protection spot? Nice dream but pretty unrealistic.

Brodie for Barrie is a reasonable trade since the Av's are paying enough of his salary for him to fit into Calgarys capped out situation. This will hinge upon Brodie's medical report of course.

And Again. the usual weekly joke of anyone taking Frolik for less than an unprotected first. Flames if not willing to part with that first are just going to have to suck it up this year and let him go for nothing to get the cap space back next year.

4.) 20 Nov 2019 20:59:10
Damn a no from the opposite team wouldve been fine jesus

5.) 21 Nov 2019 03:09:17
I don’t understand why you want to trade Frolik in every proposal after all those good things you told me about him though? He is a second line player on your team is he not? So he must be a great player. But you want to trade him? And only for a 3rd round pick? I am very confused by you Moneyhands. You tell me one thing, but your words say another.

20 Nov 2019 09:46:48
To CGY :
• Taylor Hall (verbal agreement to resign, permission to negotiate a new deal before finalizing trade)
• Corey Schneider

To NJD :
• Ty Parsons
• Jakob Pelletier
• Tj Brodie
• Milan Lucic

Sean Moneyhands

1.) 20 Nov 2019 10:12:04
Huge no from NJ I feel like Lucic cancels out all value. Parsons is also worthless at this point too.

2.) 20 Nov 2019 12:01:46
What about Dustin Wolf over Ty Parsons sir Vbb

3.) 20 Nov 2019 14:38:29
Huge no from Calg, Lucic is too valuable to them.
Tkuchuk has said everyone can play a little taller with a Lucic on the team and little Johhny said that he think Lucic and Talbot are the missing pieces to a Cup run for them. Every Flames fan I’ve talked to this season love Lucic and the trade and come up with the best reasons why.

4.) 20 Nov 2019 17:38:36
I can't see NJ doing this Calgary homer trade.

5.) 20 Nov 2019 21:00:37
Dustin Wolf is predicted to be a huge steal, Pelletier is a former 1st round pick, plus a top 4 d. How am i a homer?

6.) 21 Nov 2019 01:05:48
Lucic kills the deal.

7.) 24 Nov 2019 14:52:59
@Yupp if you think Lucic has ANY value, than you should just start watching soccer bud.

What would be your idea of an impossible team to play against? Mine would be:

Matthew Tkachuk - Nathan MacKinnon - Tom Wilson
Evander Kane - Max Domi - Zach Hyman
Chris Kreider - Nazem Kadri - Micheal Ferland
Sam Bennett - Adam Lowry - Garnet Hathaway

Victor Hedman - Erik Karlsson
Dmitry Orlov - Dustin Byfuglien
Darnell Nurse - Zdeno Chara

Carey Price

Sean Moneyhands

1.) 06 Dec 2019 12:00:38

Kadri>Domi imo.

2.) 06 Dec 2019 12:19:06

Ryan oreily better than both.

3.) 06 Dec 2019 14:40:31

No McDavid or Draisaitl is a little surprising.

4.) 06 Dec 2019 15:03:37
Ovechkin - MacKinnon - P. Kane
Marchand - O'Reilly - Marner
Mantha - Kadri - Kucherov
Tkachuk - Bergeron - Wilson

Hedman - Karlsson
Reilly - Doughty
OEL - Pietrangelo

Vasilevsky
Binnington.

5.) 06 Dec 2019 15:06:37

Lol. Brandon tanev missing. No crosby or McDavid? Price as the goalie . ouch. very beatable team.

6.) 06 Dec 2019 15:58:46

Looks more like a team that would be in a fight to make the playoffs.

7.) 06 Dec 2019 17:37:14

Blue Whale.

11.) 07 Dec 2019 18:48:18
What is VB smoking?

12.) 09 Dec 2019 17:09:52
by impossible to play against he means hard teams to play offense against, gritty/ defensive/ agitaters.

should include toews and bergeron.

that being said its not balanced enough without high end scorers.

21 Nov 2019 10:58:32
Thank god Babcock is gone. Played favourites, didn't play his superstars right. If he can't get Matthews, Marner, Tavares, Nylander, Rielly going then no other teams should hire him

Sean Moneyhands

1.) 21 Nov 2019 14:18:21
If the Flames keep struggling think they make the change and bring in Babcock? Lol.

2.) 21 Nov 2019 15:53:56
I don’t think Babcock will get the coach Q treatment and get to pretty much pick whatever team he wants. Especially considering how much money he’s going to ask for I don’t think I’d hire him.

3.) 21 Nov 2019 20:43:37
Was Ovi right a while ago? Some other analysts have said this as well, are most of the Leafs playing for the name on the back rather than the logo on the front? Has Dubas our together a really really soft team?

4.) 22 Nov 2019 03:13:28
I think Keffe is better suited to coach them then Babcock if he doesn't turn it around then there could be trouble. But I think he will get them back on track.

5.) 22 Nov 2019 16:57:02
Babcock to Seattle? Take a little time off then go be a part of putting that team together. ?

6.) 22 Nov 2019 17:40:20
Maybe a return to Anaheim?

7.) 24 Nov 2019 13:33:41
I think Babcock should retire as a NHL coach. If you can't make your team perform and you have all the talent on that team that he has, your dead meat imo.

8.) 24 Nov 2019 17:53:36
He’s taking time off. Time to reflect, lol.

9.) 24 Nov 2019 23:37:54
Kinda reminds me of Mike Keenan . the game passed him by.

10.) 28 Nov 2019 22:33:08
hes under contract to the leafs for at least 3 more years including this year if not 4. most of the money on his contract was paid up front. any team inquiring needs permission from the leafs up until that contract expires. releived of his duties, still under contract.

as a leaf fan i was super pumped when we got babs, and he did a lot of things really well, but was stubborn in certain aspects visable to me, the fan who watches most if not all of thier games.

he didn't set certain people up to succeed, and pushed others who shouldn't have been on the ice in certain situations.

im not going to let 3 games make me say keefe is superior coach than babcock, he just seems to be coaching to the players strengths, instead of making them play to a pre exisitng system.

one thing i like is its back to 2 dmen on the point on the pp, i'm not a fan of a lot of forwards playing the point, its not natural.

11.) 29 Nov 2019 16:23:35
Spezza plays the point on the second PP unit Ovie. Lol. I wonder what will change there when Marner comes back. Is Barrie on PP1 just while Marner is out? Muzzin on PP2 isn't ideal.

12.) 02 Dec 2019 16:10:26
2nd pp on the leafs sees 30 seconds on the ice each pp, i disregard it completely.

20 Nov 2019 09:42:21
The habs are blessed with goalies.
Plante
Roy
Price
Now Primeau

Idk what it is man

Sean Moneyhands

1.) 20 Nov 2019 11:47:32
Wtf how can you not include Ken Dryden on that list he’s probably the best goalie in Canadians history.

2.) 20 Nov 2019 14:39:55
Primeau was a 7th round pick i think too. Looking really good so far!

3.) 20 Nov 2019 14:40:04
#Blessed.

4.) 21 Nov 2019 02:50:04
VB, your a knob. If your going to say a "how cannot you not" and not mention George Vézina your even worse then Sean Moneyhands. Vézina was and will probably always be the best goalie to have ever played for the Canadiens and I could make a case for the best of all times.

5.) 21 Nov 2019 10:54:15
I was just making a quick post and didn't dig into goalies. I just posted goalies that i liked from the Canadiens lol

6.) 21 Nov 2019 14:08:06
Seems like teams have a certain theme about em .
Habs= Goalies
Bruins. Dmen
Shore, Orr, Bourque, Chara
Oilers and Pens. 2 extra special Superstars at same time
Gretzky, Messier-- McDavid, Draisaitl
Lemuiex, Jagr - Crosby, Malkin

Canucks seem to have decided star Swedes are the way to go from Naslund, Sedins to now Petterson.

7.) 21 Nov 2019 22:08:03
George Vezina is like 450 years old and no he’s not better then Dryden? Best of his time period? Sure. You can’t call me a knob when you don’t know the difference between your and you’re.

8.) 22 Nov 2019 17:08:08
Ken Dryden career was quite impressive indeed, 349-19-12 career win loss record. a Calder, 5 vezinas and 6 Stanley cups all of this in only 8 seasons of work.
I'll throw hainsworths name into the mix, just because I noticed he wasn't mentioned.

9.) 22 Nov 2019 17:37:52
Bill durnan deserves mention as well, 6 vezinas and a pair of cups in his 7 seasons.

10.) 22 Nov 2019 21:15:11
Dryden was good but he wasn't that good facelift lol. that record I can assure you is incorrect.

11.) 23 Nov 2019 02:26:05
Look it up yourself on hockeydb habby, you're being a lazy a-hole by suggesting anything I said was incorrect.

12.) 23 Nov 2019 02:29:53
Sorry habby 258-57-74 win loss record, my mistake. sorry for being ignorant.

13.) 23 Nov 2019 09:31:34
What was bunny laraques record during that same time period I wonder.

14.) 26 Nov 2019 17:22:13
144-48-31 for Larocque with the Habs 3 vezinas, 4 cups in his 8 seasons. impressive indeed habby.

15.) 27 Nov 2019 19:55:13
George Vézina has the most Vézina then anybody else.100+ Vezina trophy and he keeps on getting one every year.

16 Nov 2019 19:30:51
If you could take 2 of your rivalries players, who would you take?
Say for an example if i hated Boston, i'd probably take Pastrnak & McAvoy. Due to ages of Bergeron & Marchand.

So my lineup would be the Flames lineup just with those players added?

Tkachuk - Backlund - Pastrnak
Gaudreau - Monahan - Lindholm
Mangiapane - Bennett - Frolik
Lucic - Ryan - Jankowski

Giordano - McAvoy
Hanifin - Hamonic
Brodie - Andersson

Sean Moneyhands

1.) 16 Nov 2019 21:35:28
I had no clue the Bruins and Flames were rivals. When did this happen?

2.) 16 Nov 2019 21:37:27
If you don’t care if they are a rival or not I would take McKinnon and Makar in a heartbeat.

3.) 17 Nov 2019 18:10:37
Mcdavid and draisaitl on the Senators.

4.) 18 Nov 2019 09:13:54
Kotekneimi and Weber

Pasta and Marchand

Eichel and Dahlin.

5.) 18 Nov 2019 09:19:24
Habs and Jets are huge rivals, just like Bruins and Flames. I’ll take Ehlers/ Appleton.

6.) 18 Nov 2019 19:02:13
Tavares and Rieley
Bergeron and McAvoy.

7.) 18 Nov 2019 19:05:59
You would go after KK VB? i thought that would not be high on your list - thought the leafs needed more grit in the corners and Domi would be a perfect fit.

8.) 18 Nov 2019 21:58:26
KK/ Domi/ Gallagher are all close imo.

16 Nov 2019 12:32:28
Does anybody else find this creepy that any team that has Neal overachieves alot, snd whoever has Hall wins lottery after lottery???

Sean Moneyhands

1.) 16 Nov 2019 15:34:17
The devils made the playoffs with hall.

2.) 16 Nov 2019 19:31:30
Ya but they also won the lottery twice with Hall. And Oilers won the lottery 3 times with him

I'll take the Flames simply because of Puljujärvi honestly but Draisaitl is so good. As for 2015 and 2016 i'd say Flames for 2015 and Oilers for 2016 Andersson and Kylington give them a huge edge
