The game of inches that was working against Eberle earlier has turned to his favor and it looks like Hrudy's rant last year has encouraged him to play a more responsible 2 way game.
If it's not broke. don't fix it. and the Oilers are definitely in the NOT BROKE mode right now.

Turris is one of the most consistent players ottawa has and has chemistry with everyone while eberle is inconsistent even playing with mcdavid. Turris would be better point totals if he didn't have a terrible run with a team he didn't want to be with in Arizona. Ceci alone is more valuable than eberle so ottawa says no unless it's Lazar and ceci for eberle and nurse.

Lol yea stats means everything for centers? So Jonathan Toews is worth less then Eberle? Eberle had more points for the last 3 season but Toes is a two way center Wich Turris is as well. He has a bigger role in his team ten a lazy Eberle that's been playing with stard his whole career. Of course the Oilers fans are all agreeing with each other lol

Eberle is playing 2nd line now and has found his groove with RNH and Pouliot.
Ceci is a #4 D man and quite over rated by Sens fans. He will probably move up to #3 D and maybe even #2 when Dion gets too old. Ceci isn't signed very long either which is another detriment.
Sorry, I don't see Ceci as being a very valuable piece right now. Not as Valuable as you claim he is.
If he's destined to be a #2, Ottawa would be better off to keep him than trade him. Ottawa fans continuing to offer him up in almost every trade request makes me believe your evaluation is a tad high.

Toews is worth 10 Mill a year and has 2 cups. He's starting to get up there in age. TODAY his value is more. in a couple of years when Eberle hits his prime. And 10 mill is being paid for his reduced production maybe not?
