Jets and Islanders make perfect trading partners!
Jets trade: Trouba, Ladd and Petan
Islanders trade: Hamonic, Okposo and Bailey
Islanders get a young stud defenseman with scary upside who wants big money now as well as solid leaadership from veteran Ladd and a undersized center who can score.
Jets get a solid all around defenseman who wants to play in Winnipeg, a scorer and physical presence in Okposo as well as a useful player and penalty killer in Bailey. A good match in value.

The jets aren't making the playoffs, why trade for okposo? Also, their team is starting to rebuild a bit so why trade a young stud in petan? No point for either team.

Think JVR for Trouba is a good starting point for a trade. Obviously, for it to work, both sides need to add.
Winnipeg: Trouba, Comrie, prospect Brendan Lemieux
Toronto: JVR, Kapenan, Marincin or Harrington.
