So many Toronto fans saying Kessel to Arizona for domi and that's not going to happen. If you guys want domi, a fair trade would be

ARZ: Domi
TOR: Nylander

Prospect for prospect straight up is the only way because both teams are rebuilding

Canucks33

1.) Nylander is a small Swedish forward. Domi is, in Don Cherry's words, "a good Canadian boy".

TOR adds a LOT.

2.) Lol, I think Nylander has 2 inches on Domi and is maybe 10 lbs lighter. Other than the "good Canadian boy" part, you can pretty much call their size a draw.

At this point, I don't see why either team would make this trade.

3.) THEGR81 - the "Good Canadian Boy" player type is more than just size - its HOW you play. Domi seems to enjoy the dirty areas and will battle for the puck, whereas Nylander seems to be an outside guy who likes to wait for the puck to come to him and use his good shot from a distance. (only from the little I have seen of both players)

4.) I don't see why either team would do this as a leafs fan I would be happy with either but why not just stick with Nylander and show that we know how to finally draft and develop guys properly. People seem to be ripping his game a bit but the kid has serious skill. He has already proved he can produce at every level he has played at whether its the world juniors, Swedish elite league, and now the ahl. Nylander and morgan rielly are the two best pieces toronto has for their rebuild. Stay the course with these guys.

5.) Domi is overrated.

Hes a 3rd liner in the NHL at best.

No way in hell Toronto takes that trade.

6.) @stickboi

Nylander is overrated. In all likelihoods he's a 2nd line forward who has the potential to play on the 1st line.

Domi is the same, but he's grittier than Nylander.

7.) Nylander has way more skill than domi its not even close.

This trade accomplishes nothing for Toronto, nylander is also a full year behind domi and is developing better.

Even after being traded, it's speculated that Myers could still be dangled and the best fit for him would most likely be the Anaheim Ducks

WPG: Myers

ANA: Shea Thoedore and 2015 2nd

Anaheim benefits by recieving a big strong defensemen and winnipeg can still make the playoffs but plan ahead for the future as well.

Canucks33

1.) Winnipeg has enough young guys that are planning for the future. Examples are Morrisey, Petan, Trouba(not considered a prospect any more), Lemieux, del lio, ehlers, armia. They are completely stacked in prospects. If myers did get traded it would be for a top 6 foward ready to step in.

2.) 14 Feb 2015 07:28:12
WPG is obviously looking to finally get into the playoffs, so they won't be trading myers for picks/prospects.

3.) I don't think this would work for winnipeg

Vermette's price will most likely lower by the time of the trade deadline and I think that the Canadiens are the front runners.

Arizona: Vermette

Montreal: Eller, 2nd

Canucks33

1.) Yes I would do it but it depends on how much you're willing to give to vermette is salary should be 4 million and less for the next years.

2.) Habs pass, better fit rentals (wingers) will be available at deadline. Habs GM also not so keen anymore on short term rentals

People need to take into consideration that there is a lot of hype about mcdavid just as there was hype for alexandre daigle. What did alexandre daigle do once he got into the NHL? I'll just let you the reader answer that question

this trade does make sense cause they do get a centerman and a winger. The leadership of phil kessel with help and with the oilers getting McEichel, they the centres would be mceichel, bozak, and draisitl.

Fair trade but the reason Sharp is being traded is because of cap reasons. Kessel is carrying a cap hit of 8 mil so I doubt that this deal would happen.

I think if you take away the Tampa 1st and make the 3rd a second, they may consider it

Tdot1334 I completely agree with u but hey there was a GM a couple years back who was willing to give up 4 first rounders. Paul holmgrem signed Shea Weber to an offer sheet which if the press chose not to match would've given them 4 first round picks.
