Those forwards look pathetic.

2.) 27 Dec 2016 13:29:09
The Edmonton trade is laughable! A #3 centre for a top pairing defender PLUS an second.

3.) 27 Dec 2016 16:00:20
Calm yourself Vancity, RNH is actually pretty good he's just stuck in a team that happens to have Mcdavid, Draisalt as centre so his role his deminish. he's more then a #3 centre I would take him for mtl he is at least a #2 two way centre. His defensive game has improve because of the role he as been given. i'm not saying the trade is good but Johnson is a top 4 not a top pairing defenseman so get your fact straight you uneducated nucks fan.

I think the only way Oilers trade Nuge is if they get back an Offensive minded d-man. They have a lot of guys similar to E. Johnson on their blueline so they'll probably decline. Tyson Barrie would be the guy the Oilers would want and Idk if I would trade Barrie for Nuge. Plus Oilers can't trade for a D-man till after the expansion draft.

As for the other trades:
the Anaheim one I see as good value, maybe an additional prospect like Brandon Mantour. Though that may be too much for Landy.
The Isles one. Yeah I guess that would be the value maybe another prospect like Ho-Sang, and change the 1st to next years first and have Colorado throw in a 2nd.
No from the Wild, bitter division rivals for one reason, the other is Dumba has much more value than that.
HELL NO from Buffalo! They downgrade in every aspect and Lehner has proven to be a much more reliable goalie than Varlamov over the last 2 years. If u want Ennis and Girgensons I think Buffalo is ready to part with those guys, but it would still have to be an average package.

COL: Gabriel Landeskog, Matt Duchene
NYI: Nick Leddy, Ryan Pulock, Matthew Barzal, Ryan Strome, Anders Lee, 1st

Landeskog - Tavares - Bailey
Ladd - Duchene - Prince

Oil kings

1.) 27 Dec 2016 01:01:27
6 for 2s don't ever work and I still don't think this will work, but it does include young players going back to Colorado and some defenseman, but I'm not sure islanders are willing to to do when there is no way they are making the playoffs this year.

2.) 27 Dec 2016 02:51:19
Would the Isles be able to keep Tavares after this? Idk if NYI is really in the position to trade away all their top prospects (I know the guys they get in return are still young and in their prime) but I don't see NYI making the playoffs. Not bad value just doesn't make a lot of sense to me.

3.) 27 Dec 2016 04:50:48
Idotn see any of those teammaking this trade. First of all NYI are trading a good top 4 D most a big chunk of their future prospects a future second line center I Storme a really good center maybe first liner in 4-5 years if he develops as well as I think he could (Barzal) solid defense prospect (Pulock) a secondary scorer I Lee and a first. For what? Two great forwards who are having difficulties ATM. I don't know if i'm the avs gm I trade Dushene because Mackinon is taking is place and keep Landerscog because he's going to get out of that phase and is the leader and captain of this team right now. For Dutchie I would try to get a young D who's almost nhlready and has top 2 potential. Maybe this:

Mtl:Sergachev, Sherback,1rd pick

Col:Dushene (1million retain.

4.) 27 Dec 2016 09:23:29
Lmao landerscog you are messed man hahaha.

5.) 27 Dec 2016 13:34:58
Ryan Strome is 23 years old. What do you mean in 4-5 years he will develop? This might be his last year to prove he's an NHLer. His value is maybe a 3rd round pick at most.

6.) 27 Dec 2016 16:02:44
Some centres take more time to devolop. The style that he plays is hard to perfectionate.

8.) 27 Dec 2016 19:59:47
Really unbelievable i'm sure Colorado can get a better package for 2 superstars.

1.) 26 Dec 2016 20:20:38
Not nearly enough quality going to Colorado. Hamilton and Fowler are good but the rest isn't enough if you want two star players.

2.) 26 Dec 2016 21:36:27
U sure about that? Cause I see two young good top 4 dmen, a 2nd and 3rd, young 2nd line lw, good 2/3 center

3.) 26 Dec 2016 21:46:48
So the Avs acquire Frolik and don't have him in their starting lineup?

4.) 27 Dec 2016 01:04:14
Yeah I'm pretty sure.

5.) 27 Dec 2016 02:50:37
No from Calgary. They don't need another left wing Igbo it means giving up a young stud RHD, a solid two way center, and a mid pick. As Calgary I might even hesitate Hamilton for Landeskog straight up as Calgary is not in need of LWs and they lacks a replacement for Hamilton.

6.) 27 Dec 2016 06:13:32
I changed frolik to backlund at last minute and forget to change his name in the receiving review

7.) 03 Jan 2017 05:37:46
Whatever your smoking send some down to Calgary as it might be the only way this trade happens.
I wouldn't take Hamilton for landeskog at this point.
Let alone backs + a 3rd lol
Also, make a trade to the wing they need help on. Left side is on point.

Brendan Gallagher to ANA

O my God. Just going to walk right by and not say anything.

2.) 26 Dec 2016 20:20:58
This is bad.

3.) 26 Dec 2016 20:57:31
Landeskog for Lindholm is fairer but ducks would need to add atleast 1 key piece maybe Silverburg?

4.) 26 Dec 2016 21:05:36
VB you lost your right of commenting after all those nonsense trades you've sent in the last couples days.

5.) 27 Dec 2016 02:53:45
Wtf Gallagher for Duchene? Lolol.

6.) 27 Dec 2016 03:58:15
Buddy your trades have been no better and I meant add on to Flower not Lindholm. Lindholm=Duchene.

7.) 27 Dec 2016 03:59:33
I meant to say Duchene not Landeskog also wow that was unthought out reply.

8.) 27 Dec 2016 13:03:12
Lindholm is about as u challenge as it gets for the Ducks. No chance Lindholm getting traded.

25 Dec 2016 19:30:46
COL: Gabriel Landeskog
VAN: Chris Tanev, Jake Virtanen, 1st

Oil kings

1.) 25 Dec 2016 20:48:09
No thanks
Canucks have 6 Swedes already
Landeskog is over rated
Tanev is a top 5 defensive defenseman
Virtanen is hopefully à gritty 15-20 future goal scorer
The 1st will be a top 5 pick.

2.) 25 Dec 2016 21:03:49
Yes from Colorado, and even tho Tanev is RHD and they want a lefty, he's still obviously a good player.

3.) 25 Dec 2016 21:09:20
Lay off the rum and egg nog man, no way from vancouver. Merry xmas.

4.) 25 Dec 2016 21:36:06
Renigrad, How is Tanev a top 5? He is at least a top 4 maybe even a top 2 on a bad defence.

5.) 25 Dec 2016 22:32:41
McJ habs- top5 defensive defenseman in the league. He is a top 4 and top 2 on Canucks.

6.) 25 Dec 2016 22:58:11
To much from Van.
Virtanen is going to be really good I think, and this years 1st will be a top 5 I think. not the strongest draft ever, but stil wouldnt.

7.) 25 Dec 2016 23:00:33
McJesusHabs he said that he is a top 5 defensive defenseman IN THE LEAGUE, not on a team.

8.) 25 Dec 2016 23:31:35
He's not top 5 god. Weber, Doughty, Petro, Suter, Valasic, Seabrook, S. Jones, Eklblad, Hedman and Hamonic are all better defensively.

9.) 26 Dec 2016 00:17:53
Lol Valasic, really?

10.) 26 Dec 2016 04:27:54
VB of your examples 7 of them are all-around defenseman, not what are considered defensive. Vlasic is the best defensive defenseman in the league.

11.) 26 Dec 2016 05:44:33
So because I guy can also chip in offensively takes him out of the running for best defensive D? I don't know if VB gave the best list but yeah I don't know if Tanev is top 5 defensively man.

12.) 26 Dec 2016 14:49:00
Tanev is a great shot surpressor, can log big minutes and play against other teams top lines but no way is he a top 5 defensive dman. Not even close.

13.) 28 Dec 2016 06:33:53
Van needs a rebuild! Why would you trade away a 1st rd pick for Landeskog? Especially if it falls in the top 5.. they're better off to move Tanev out for picks or prospects not more dead weight..

14.) 04 Jan 2017 02:03:37
Take the first out and it is a good trade.

Boston gets - Dennis Wideman (50% Retained), Lance Bouma, 2nd, Jyrki Jokipakka
Calgary gets - Ryan Spooner

Gaudreau - Monahan - Versteeg
Tkachuk - Bennett - Brouwer
Spooner - Backlund - Frolik
Ferland - Stajan - Chiasson

Giordano - Hamilton
Brodie - Engelland
Wotherspoon - Kulak

Oil kings

1.) 21 Dec 2016 00:22:03
Think it's too much for Spooner.

2.) 21 Dec 2016 12:53:24
Maybe one of Wideman or Jyrki plus the second but not both.

21 Dec 2016 00:10:25
Calgary - Lance Bouma, Deryk Engelland
Arizona - Radim Vrbata

Versteeg - Monahan - Vrbata
Gaudreau - Bennett - Brouwer
Tkachuk - Backlund - Frolik
Ferland - Stajan - Chiasson

Oil kings

1.) 21 Dec 2016 00:22:25
Hasn't Engelland been playing well? If so, I think no from CGY.

Leafs wish.

2.) 20 Dec 2016 13:13:39
^ No from Anaheim. Fowler has been lights out this year and Ritchie is really coming along as well.

18 Dec 2016 04:28:36

Oil kings

1.) 18 Dec 2016 07:35:02
It's just you.

2.) 18 Dec 2016 08:14:58
Haven't watched them play lately but looking at their lineup it doesn't look like. That Hathaway guy reminds me of an old school goon from some of the highlights I've seen. Ferland, Bouma and Engelland all play a sand paper, gritty, tough game.

3.) 18 Dec 2016 12:35:04
Just not cohesive. They'll be really good once they click. May make bounds later this season depending on their schedule but I think it'll be next season more likely. D group is far better than they've played and Elliott has reverted back to his Ottawa days. He and they turn things around and they'll be in the playoffs next season.

14 Dec 2016 20:51:15
What would it take for Calgary to get Joe Colborne back?
2 seconds?

Oil kings

1.) 14 Dec 2016 21:43:24
more like a 5th. He has ben pretty bad.

2.) 15 Dec 2016 14:09:48
Why would you want him back?
