Just put some random trades together for the jets.
I only did these trades because these guys do bring in some depth and they bring in some size and speed which would help the jets out right now especially with the injures they have and yes I know some players are close to returning but even if they made one of these trades even when the injured guys get back it would help them with depth especially if they go up against opponents like
-Boston
-Washington
-Columbus
-Wild and some other teams.

There's no real incentive for the Wild, Chicago or Buffalo to do those.

The Jets would be foolish to trade Stanley at this time as he has been improving each game and he also plays a physical game.
I would rather the Jets trade Schmidt than Capo.
They should target a big physical player that they will help them in the playoffs.
The way this team is playing, even with so many injuries, I don't see them making any big moves at this time.

Stanley i dont see getting in the lineup again because he's out with an injury and heinola might take his place, that's why trading him would be better because then he gets a reset with a different team that could use him a bit more then the jets.
Capobianco could go on waivers in a few days to make roster space for the injured players coming back, it would also be nice for Capobianco to get a fresh start but he would be nice on the moose.

I only did this trade because it brings in more forward depth for the jets.
Heinola has been frustrated with the way jets have been treating him. Logan Stanley is injured and holden would he better for the jets defense. He has more experience and would really boost their defense up.
Stanley has the size but doesn't really use it that much.
Harkins would probably do better with ottawa. Ottawa is technically in the rebuild and having those three young players would really help them out.
Motte brings in good scoring chances to winnipeg and brassaed would be a good 4th line center or winger.

Why would the Jets trade young players for rental plugs/ waiver fodder? Players of similar or better quality that the Ottawa players are available on waivers all the time.
Try and be slightly realistic if you want to have an actual conversation.

Puljujarvi might work for the Jets for a 3rd or something, but not Anderson.
Anderson isn't a cap dump yet, but is heading that way quickly. He is a bad contract though, so I trust Chevy wouldn't have any interest.

In the short term the Jets win this trade but the last 2/ 3 years Anderson becomes a cap millstone around their necks. Pully is pricing himself out of the NHL because to keep him next year his cap hit will be well over $3 mil per season which he hasn't shown he is worth. Also the Oilers and Habs wouldn't be happy with their return in this trade.

I agree with ChickenFoot. Really would hate to see Anderson traded. Although, he leaves me wanting more., he looks like he should be a 35+ goal a year guy. Regardless, he's a good player when healthy, and not many like him in the league.

$5.5mil for a 0.46PPG Player is not a solid contract unless he can turn things around this season and put up 25+ Goals and 50+ Points like he's paid and expected to do.

Jets could probably sign a better backup goalie and maybe sign some more people to help the moose out for a good season and maybe a deep playoff rush.
I just put theses trades together for fun, these additions could also help Jets with forward depth a lot and maybe could lead to a good playoff run.

I don't think the Jets will trade Stanley, Heinola or Samberg as they are all part of the teams future and are expected to make the team this season so including any of them in any trade should be a no. The Wheeler and Scheifele trades wouldn't happen because neither one makes any sense.
