Any player signed as a UFA before he even steps on the ice like Kulikov aren't traded, why? Because that Team will never be able to sign a UFA ever again with that GM in place. Kulikov chose NJ he could have signed anywhere where he was wanted.

I agree pinball. But I think the situation is unique if you ask kulikov if he wants to head to Tampa Bay. They didn't bid on much since they were strapped, I'm sure lots of people want to go there right now.
But you'd have to ask him before trading, if he says no your reputation is shot.

I think Coyotes say no. Add a higher pick, I think it would interest them considering they lost a couple picks and had to get rid of a prospect. I’d say Beagle, (high) Second. Most likely a sweetener aswell

As much as I like Virtanen, I wouldn't trade Armia for him. Virtanen isn't a type of guy that would fit in the Habs culture. I can't say forsure, however Bergevin has shipped out similar guys who have, not saying bad off ice behavior, jus kids being kids.
Id personally love to have Virtanen given a chance on the Habs., just not at cost of Armia.

Dumba had 12 goals in 32 games before he got injured last year. He’s physical too. Might be a bit much maybe take out the picks. Vancouver needs a right shot D and if they’re trying to be good now I think it’s a good decision. Definitely not a 25 point guy.
