BUF would probably do it, maybe with just 1 of the picks though. BUF could use another Right Shot RW, but it comes down to $$$ for EDM. Olofsson will want a raise and EDM has other priorities + they have a bunch of LW's already.

Puljujarvi on pace for 45 points this season, Olofsson 55. I don’t think that gap is huge and Puljujarvi is 3 years younger. But I agree maybe drop the 3rd. If Oil think they can fit him I’m sure they can move a LW to the right side.

Only Guys Puljujarvi's size that are more offensively talented under 25 = Drake Batherson and Brock Boeser.

If he isn't already he will be: Puljujarvi > Josh Anderson.

If puljuarjvi had half Josh Anderson's speed and 1/ 4 his grit and toughness he'd be worth a late first but still wouldn't be worth the 4th OA pick the oilers wasted on him. Pulju is 0.37 ppg over his career, Anderson is 0.50 ppg and provides so much more than just some points.

I mean come on playing with McDavid and Draisaitle and the guy can't even get more than 15 goals or 36 points? That's not very good, even Kassian matched that when playing with those two.

Puljujarvi’s points per game isn’t really fair considering he was rushed into the NHL at 18. And he was lucky to get lots of ice with the two best players in the league but I’m guessing it’s a lot lower than what you think. He started out his second stint with the team in the bottom 6 and worked his way up then when woodcroft took over he went back down again. On pace for 18 goals this season not just “36 points”. It’s realistic to think he’ll be a consistent 20 goal guy if things continue with this progression.

@Trevor you're always saying Valimaki is entitled and all that, yet he's never asked for a trade, refused to report to the minors or ran back home to Finland for a year to cry about it when he didn't get his way.
