Oilers take on some cap hit and I don't think they have the cap to do this.

I don't think the trade is bad. But if the Oilers are looking at Perry, why not wait till he's bought out and sign him for a better cap hit?

I’d honestly rather stick with the Oilers players. Sekera is still a solid 4/ 5/ 6 D when he’s healthy and he only has two years left of being over paid. Who knows what your getting with the other 3 in the trade so I’d rather not give up the cap space and the pick to make this trade.

Horrible trade for Oilers.

Lucic = Perry

Perry's cap hit is 8.6 million for the next two years. No thanks. Oilers are looking to get good now and the extra 2.6 difference between Lucic's and Perry's contracts could be a solid 3rd line winger.

Kesler is hated by the entirety of the Oilers and Ken Holland 100% won't do this as he said during his interviews, he cares what the fans think and it would be idiotic for him to get an overpaid injured old man who probably won't play anymore.

Like I said before on your previous posts (perhaps you should take the time to read the responses before proposing more trades) Oilers won't trade Sekera now while his value is low. Earliest is probably trade deadline. When he came back, he looked good playing. Like a solid top 4. Why would they trade him when his value is low? Doesn't sound very logical, does it?

And Oilers give a 2nd round pick while also taking 2 overpaid and injured old men cause why not right?

swechamp but is there a worse contract out there playing on someone's 4th line? (4th line at best that is) sure Corey perry's contract is bad, but contracts aside who is the better player?
