If grabovski doesn't resign with Washington here are three options I thought of:
1. Offer sheet to ror
2. Sign mike ribero again
3. Let kuzya play center on 2nd and bring burakovsky to the NHL
1.) Do they even have cap to bring Ribero or ROR?
2.) They have no cap room for anyone

Washington might not absolutely need to sign a top 6 forward, just sign burakovsky to play with Kuzya on the 2nd line absolute destruction from that pairing

anyone have thoughts on caps defensive rebuild? they still need a no. 1
who tho??
1.) They should sign Jonas Hiller for one year and hope he has a bounceback campaign.
2.) Hard to just trade for a number one defenseman without giving up lots of assets. I think that the caps defensive problems are also extended to the forwards where you have a very skilled offensive group, but they do not back check hard or take their position well. Put a good system that they play by with good defensive play by the forwards and the caps defense still may not look great but it will look a lot better than what it is now.
