Like I said before oilers should trade Lander and a 2015 draft pick for patrik Berglund. Use Berglund as a second line center. Maybe now they also should consider signing Daniel Winnik to a 1 year deal and use him as a third line center and to kill penalty's.

Reimer to the jets for prospect D Kostelak and a condiotinal 3rd round pick
VAN trades Markstrum to leafs for a 3rd round pick and prospect F Davane
1.) Honestly, I don't see the jets having to give anything up significant to get Reimer, if they wanted him they would have given up a 4th or 5th rounder at the draft. We have too much goalie depth and will not pay over 6 million to have 2 back up goalies. I like Kostelak and wouldn't give him up, especially considering Hutchinson will be our #1 by mid-season. book it
2.) Leafs won't trade devane, he might be on the team next year

5.) The goalies in question have low value for sure. Markstrom could be moved for 5th round pick. Reimer perhaps a 3rd rounder. I don't mind this deal though.
6.) I don't get how markstrom has fallen from being one of, if not the best goalie prospect in the league, to being wortha 5th rounder.
i mean I haven't followed him at all, just remember him being ver highly touted not too long ago and now he's essentially worthless lol

@charles xavier just because one goalie was drafted higher than another, doesn't make that goalie (or even players) better. Havn't looked into it but I bet Riemer has better stats and I think are similar age
9.) Yeah that's why I said I was confused as to why people think Markstrom has just as much value as Reimer despite them both being close to the same age and Reimer proving way more at the NHL level. I guess I didn't really word it that well

Reimer requested a trade, no suprise, some leafs fans really over did it and mis treated him, I'm going to miss him and he's going to haunt us in the long run, he's still an awesome goalie and he can still be a #1 but no one really gives him credit but the question is, what is he worth? prospect and a conditional pick?
