Because chicago is looking for defense and trying to dump Bickells contract maybe this could work. And I previously saw the Shaw trade as it is, because of Chi's cap issues, the offer for Shaw might even be realistic as they theoretically cannot take on another contract player, so draft picks and prospects might be the best bet.

Are you guys kidding? Chicago would absolutely love to Bryan Bickell for the rights of Nikitin. They'd get rid of his contract for essentially nothing. No brainer.

This isn't a trade post, but I want to see some opinions on which UFAs the Oilers should try to acquire.

EdmontonOilers is right, no doubt Toronto needs to take a centermen even if Laine seems to be better at any point before the draft. And I think it's more valuable towards Arizona to keep strome and their first round pick.
