This trade makes sense and is realistic. Leafs get some relief and oilers get a leader on d
1.) Why do you Bloody leaf fans keep trying to trade a guy who cleared waivers, PLEASE GIVE IT A REST
2.) Oilers don't need another 3 4 d man. and right now they now they have 3 roster left wingers injured sooooo no.
3.) If the oilers wanted liles they could have him for free.
4.) Toronto needs to add a third line center before they can add a winger
5.) Just because he cleared waivers does NOT mean he has no value. It means that no one wants his contract. If a guy clears waivers and is only making 500k then yea good luck trading him. But a team would love to have liles on it just for a smaller price tage. I bet if liles salary was only for 2 mil he would have been claimed in a heartbeat. Or even if the term was less. So why do leaf fans post liles deals? Because now a team can retain salary and it makes him trade able. Think before you post
