Tavares in untouchable. You don't trade your captain, face of the franchise, 23 year old top 5 scorer with a friendly 5.5m per year contract!!

Add goalie prospect Olivier Roy and D prospect James Martin. Although that's what it wouldtake for NYI to accept but then I wouldn't as the Flames. Who's to say Bennett or Reinhart could be almost as good. And Baertscho will probably be a top 6 FWDor higher, was on pace for 45 points. And Ty will be a solid top 4 D. I compare him to Cody Franson.

Tavares isn't untouchable. It's just that if a team wanted to acquire him it would cost multiple 1sts, top prospect (s) and a top six forward or top line D-man or top goalie.
