H, another delusional
Leafs fan. Tavares is not going to be traded, and if he was it would cost a whole lot more then what you proposed.

2.) 10 Feb 2014
I wasn't sure if the cap fit with this trade rumored by grapes and doug mclean and well its 805K under the cap!

that rostered team could be contender that's for sure

KStoneFirm.

3.) 10 Feb 2014
Even if that is "fair value" for Tavares, there's absolutely no way he gets traded. He was just named captain, signed a ridiculously team-friendly extension, is a top five player in the league, only 23 years old and the face of the franchise.

4.) 10 Feb 2014
While your at it why not trade for the entire Canadian Olympic team?

I know not all leafs fans are this crazy, but c'mon on you need to come up with better proposals then this.

5.) 10 Feb 2014
Bwahaaaaa! Good post. no. really. *CLICK* Garth? Garth? Mr. Snow? Helloooo. helloooo.

6.) 10 Feb 2014
Leafs won't be able to touch the Bruins.

7.) 10 Feb 2014
No need to troll. You did a great job of that yourself. You need to change your name from Batman to the Joker.

8.) 10 Feb 2014
Maybe on your x-box, but not in real life

9.) 10 Feb 2014
Leafs say no.

10.) 10 Feb 2014
You've posted nothing but crap Batman, stop reuining his name

2 1sts and a 2nd line C and a backup goalie for arguably a top 10 player in the league at what 22. And a high 2nd.

Reimer has a GAA of 3. 20 and a SVP of. 901, he's not a starter

11.) 10 Feb 2014
I wish it were only that easy.

12.) 10 Feb 2014
I would love that, but it's not going to happen :/

13.) 10 Feb 2014
I had posted something along those lines a few weeks ago and was laughed at. I would love this trade to Toronto and it will fill the need for the Islanders as well.
Quality keeper Up and comer Center but they need a defence who can move the ala Jake Gardiner Think he will need to be included on the trade somehow

14.) 10 Feb 2014
BOY don't toy with my emotion Tavares is amazing but I just don't think you wanna get rid of
Kadri he was a 7th overall pick and along with that 2 first round picks I don't think management wants to push fate for a second time I believe this deal makes much sense in terms of leafs going hard after Tavares I just think maybe a little bit of tweaking if maybe we don't take a pick back from the islanders and give them gardiner I think its essential that Kadri stays way too much talent:

TOR: Tavares

NYI: Bozak, Reimer, Gardiner, 1st in 2014, 1st in 2015

Lineup:

JVR-Tavares-Kessel

Lupul-Kadri-Raymond

Kulieman-Bolland-Clarkson

Holland-Mcclement-Bodie

Phanuef-Gunnarsson

Gleason-Reilly

Franson-Brennan

Bernier

Macyintre

15.) 10 Feb 2014
Where are you hearing this from, I don't doubt it, it helps both teams for sure but I'm still sceptical without a reliable source. I'm not even a leaf fan but it would be awesome to see Tavares get out of NY he needs a team to play with.

16.) 10 Feb 2014
Tavares's contract expires in a couple years and its already been rumored that he is not planning to re-sign. This trade helps with NYI goaltending issues and helps to replace McDonald if they choose to trade hime at the deadline. They also get two first round draft picks and they have a pretty deep prospect pool. I believe this is a smart move for NYI. NYI will never get better unless they move big players. They aren't getting better anytime soon. All they have is Tavares and they've tried already to build a team around him and that isn't working. It may take them a couple more years but they will be cup contenders then and they will be loaded.

17.) 10 Feb 2014
Guy who said keep Kadri. To make good trades you have to TRADE talent to GET talent

-KGL

18.) 10 Feb 2014
Honestly the Isles would never trade Travares, he is the face of the franchise. Which player from a marketing stand point would you want JT or NK. Case closed children. Not happening.

19.) 10 Feb 2014
this isn't xbox ps3 rumor

this was a rumor from grapes and mclean!

if u actually read what I wrote I said

"after the leafs victory yesterday against van grapes in sochi said that shis was going down and doug mclean comfirmed

no need to be a$$es about it.

im batman

20.) 10 Feb 2014
Anybody who thinks a player like Tavares is untouchable is wrong. No player is untouchable and for the right price any player can be moved. Especially in Tavares's case where the NYI don't look to be getting better anytime soon. Look at Gretsky for example. The greatest player the world will ever see was moved. Its all about with is best for the Franchise

21.) 10 Feb 2014
He never said that.

23.) 10 Feb 2014
Wait first you said it was going down, now you changed to Snow might say no. Keep going you have zero credibility. No one here is an insider but I bet my source is better than yours. Here is what my source says:
JT is NOT getting traded to TO. Let's see who is right.

I'm Superman

24.) 10 Feb 2014
I'm a leafs fan and I know this is bs. They never talk trades on HNIC don and Ron talk about rulings and plays. If tsn or sportsnet reported it maybe I would beleaf! It a little but that's just not the case

25.) 10 Feb 2014
Leafs would have to add a 1st and likely Gardiner or Rielly to make that trade fly.

26.) 10 Feb 2014
Everyone at Sochi is talking about it? Oh really? Are you in Sochi hearing these alleged conversations? The truth is that you don't have any info at all and are just blowing smoke. Stop pretending that you have sources when you are as much an unconnected nobody as the rest of us.

27.) 10 Feb 2014
Funny how nobody else can find Grapes and McLean saying this eh?

And for those claiming that Tavares' contract expires soon - shouldn't you have at least half a clue what you are talking about before posting? Tavares does not become a free agent until 2018 and that is not 'soon' as you erroneously claimed.

28.) 10 Feb 2014
IF by some miracle of a chance JT ends up a Leaf than our next move should be the following:

TOR: Clarkson, Gunnersson, Broll, and a 2nd
EDM: Eberle
* I am well aware that that is a stretch, a big one at that, but Clarkson is there strictly to match cap. He does add some grit and skill and could really compliment Hall or Perron. Gunnersson helps immediately on the backend for the Oilers. Broll is a big guy who could become a great power forward. And a draft pick. Like a said it is a stretch, but if the Leafs snagged Eberle we would have a dynamite top 6.

Again like a said it is a huge stretch, but something that the Leafs should look at IF by some sort of miracle JT ends up a Leaf.

29.) 11 Feb 2014
Its a matter of opion of whos the best player ever, gretzky, aka the super one, could just skate around with impunity, many people thought he was to fragile to even play in the nhl, every year mario was healthy he got more points than gretzky, look at the physical package to, he was not protected, he would just go through them, he had health issues, but he outdid gretzky [every year]when he was healthy, and he was not protected, gretzky got more points yes, because he stayed healthy[only because he could skate up the ice with impunity]mario was a bulldozer on skates, i and many others have our own ideas on who the best ever was.

30.) 18 Feb 2014
You obviously don't know much about hockey, cause he was called "THE GREAT ONE".

31.) 18 Feb 2014
+115 and +518 those plus minus stats for magnificent mario and "the super one" guess which one's "the super one"
