Now why on Earth would Montreal OR Edmonton tinker with what is working to make them top in their division?

There's no way Edmonton should trade Leon. They need the big center to play in the Pacific Div. Both Leon and Oscar have recently turned the corner and are playing incredible at a very affordable salary.

Absolute NO from Edmonton right now.
Should be a big NO from Montreal too.

Let the teams that are having success continue to play without messing up the chemistry.

I think if Oilers dealt Draisaitl its for a top tier dman.
Drais for Faulk outta Carolina would make more sense.
Beaulieu and Pacioretty aren't what Oilers need. however, Drais and Klefbom are exactly what the Habs need.

Everyone here is overreacting a little bit. Sure, this would never happen and isn't logical for EDM, but people saying that package couldn't even get Drai need their head checked.

patches could be the worse captain in the league. He is extremely one dimensional and super streaky. also leon has more value based off age and what he's done already and klefbom have more value than Nathan and Michael. Plus oilers can't afford it cap wise.
