LA: Gaborik, Brown, 4th round pick
Vegas: 3rd round pick

Vegas gets 2 big contracts to get to cap floor and the players can help with veteran presence as well as put up some points as well as a draft pick. LA gets rid of salary and gets a draft pick in return.

1.) 07 May 2017 19:10:49
Lol Los Angeles adds a first rounder for the next two years.

2.) 07 May 2017 19:16:11
Huge no from Vagas those contracts are so bad.

3.) 07 May 2017 19:24:30
Golden knights I proposed that deal you stole that from me.

4.) 07 May 2017 19:43:34
Lol c'mon Kaner man.

5.) 08 May 2017 01:33:02
Chill out VB you're always spazzing.

05 May 2017 10:56:33
Anaheim: Fowler
TB: Drouin (however you spell his name)

That would be a base in my opinion, who would add? unless they do a straight trade like the hall for larsson deal.

1.) 05 May 2017 12:01:59
I put out a trade almost exactly like this (just with a draft pick also going to somewhere), and I did not seem to get very many believables, although people said it was close. THey were saying because of contract, maybe one of the younger d-men (Lindholm or Vatanen) . Also, that line "however you spell his name" shows that you put 0 effort into this.

2.) 05 May 2017 19:01:58
caps_man i thought that's how you spelled his name but for some reason it didn't look right so that's why i said that.

04 May 2017 18:08:05
Chicago: hossa
any team: 2nd OR 3rd round pick

chicago: Graham Knott + 5th
vegas: picks kruger in expansion draft.

1.) 04 May 2017 19:25:51
I understand wanting to lose cap, speaking about Kruger, but really you wanna give a prospect and a pick for them to pick an actual decent player? I don't know who else can be taken from Chicago, but if Kruger is available I'd take him.

2.) 05 May 2017 00:36:13
@McJesus yeah the only other real choice Vegas has after Kruger is TVR. And with the lack of good forwards available I would choose Kruger in a heartbeat. But if LV GM is smart he could be like we won't take Kruger unless u give us that. So Kaner could be onto something.

3.) 05 May 2017 05:56:28
No he's really not onto anything. Vegas also needs to hit the cap floor too.
If Kruger is available you take him. There will be many decent defenseman available for Vegas and forwards will be slim, as you did say.

04 May 2017 01:17:25
Cal: Bennett + 1st
MTL: Chucky, beaulieu

Cal: rights to elliot + 3rd
washington: grubauer.

1.) 04 May 2017 04:57:49
Bennett is not getting traded. Could people please stop?

2.) 04 May 2017 05:23:26
Also if flames aren't resigning Elliott, then he goes to market. Why trade for his rights? He's going to sign wherever the best opportunity for himself is, regardless of who owns his rights Until July 1st. And Washington is definitely not a good chance of him prolonging his career. He's not at the point in his career to sign behind a guy that plays 65-70 games.

3.) 04 May 2017 16:41:00
1st in 2017 is worthless and Bennett is trending towards bust.

Biggest NO ever from Montreal ever heard!

12 Apr 2017 17:53:54
Col: Landeskog, 5th
Chicago: Tuulola. pokka, 2nd, kruger (cap dump)

who adds? is this close?

1.) 12 Apr 2017 18:57:09
quantity doesn't = quality Colorado adds, jokes

come on what a biased chicago trade.

2.) 12 Apr 2017 19:07:40
What a bunch of crap for. Landeskog. Not even a 1st which is sad. A late 2nd, a cap dump, a weak prospect and an ok prospect in Pokka. Not close or happening. Kaner back at it again. Panarin for Colburne, Greer, 2nd and Beachimin?

3.) 12 Apr 2017 19:14:39
Sorry Kaner. I can't see it.
Maybe Debrinkat.
A 1st.

I dunno. that's probably off as well. Avalanche want a lot for him. amd i'm not sure of they want more NHL established talent with still some upside.

4.) 13 Apr 2017 00:52:12
sosa, i'd argue about pokka being nhl ready and tuulola being close to ready. but yeah you got a point, i'd do your proposal for landy.

5.) 13 Apr 2017 01:02:33
Sodas package is WAY closer that original proposal, which is laughable.

6.) 13 Apr 2017 03:56:35
Well Sosa since DeBrincat and a arguably a 1st have more value then the package he originally offered, yes it's a lot closer. Don't see Hawks going after Landeskog tho, don't really have the assets, Avs want (young ( (left handed) ) NHL defencemen)

Jets: Trouba
Oilers: Yakupov + 2nd

jets: trouba
oilers: Klefbom/ reinhart

which one is closer? who adds?

1.) 26 Sep 2016 05:04:07
Both are way off. Edmonton adds a lot on both.

2.) 26 Sep 2016 05:15:27
Neither trollster mcgee.

3.) 26 Sep 2016 05:18:45
Kaner back at it again.

4.) 26 Sep 2016 06:38:15
G. Reinhart isn't even close in value to Klefbom.

5.) 26 Sep 2016 20:58:50
Damn kaner back at it again with the terrible trade proposals

6.) 26 Sep 2016 21:15:12
Ate you sure he was drafted 1st round top 10 you know dmen develop slowly.

19 Sep 2016 01:30:44
Buffalo: Evander Kane
New York Islanders: Strome

Arizona: strome
NYI: Pulock.

1.) 19 Sep 2016 04:36:29
NYI definitely add on the last trade, the first trade depends on NYI's feelings toward Kane's legal troubles.

Thoughts on today's moves so far? any surprises?

1.) 02 Jul 2016 17:24:12
Sharks got Bodker on a good deal.

2.) 03 Jul 2016 00:00:31
Backes to Boston is the weirdest signing imo. Bergeron, Krejci, Spooner and Backes down the middle?

3.) 03 Jul 2016 05:39:29
@bj, perhaps a trade or moving a centre to the wing.

4.) 03 Jul 2016 17:46:34
Read Krejci or Spooner for D help a lot on Twitter.

25 Jun 2016 04:36:32
i was sorta surprised that chicago traded shaw, but we did get a decent return for him. i thought by trading bickell we would have resigned shaw. then again because of panarin's bonuses we were over cap i believe so trading shaw for draft picks makes some sense.

1.) 25 Jun 2016 04:51:11
Shaw reportedly wants 4.5-5 mil probably planned on re-signing him but when learned what he would command flipped him for picks.

i would do this but i say unbelievable. if toronto trades i think they'll look for top 2 or top 4 defenceman if anything. why would they want zetterberg's contract if he'd only be bottom 6 forward. if this happened detroit would need to retain.

i've said it before and i'll say it again. TANEV IS NOT WORTH A TOP 5 PICK, EVEN IF IT'S A WEAK DRAFT YEAR. tanev is worth a late first at best or a second round and a prospect. the 2nd rounder does not make up the difference.

so oilers make the playoffs, get to the second round, then still end up with a top 5 draft pick in the first round. hahahaha. yeaah it's close but that's hilarious, would be even funnier if you tried getting the 1st overall to edmonton.
