The Flames are over the cap! Time to put Smid on LTIR, trade Wideman to Boston for a pick or a forward and trade Bouma.

Need an upgrade cause I don't think they'll make it far in the playoffs if they make it.

Here's some suggestions

BOS Ryan Spooner to CGY for Dennis Wideman (25% Retained)

CAR 7th round pick to CGY for Lance Bouma

Lines should look like

Gaudreau - Monahan - Versteeg
Tkachuk - Bennett - Brouwer
Spooner - Backlund - Frolik
Ferland - Stajan - Chiasson

Giordano - Hamilton
Brodie - Engelland
Jokipakka - Wotherspoon/ Kulak

Btw Flames are not over cap. Put Smid on LTIR is enough. Clearing Wideman would be nice though.

Spooner can get way more than a retained wideman. The guy is playing great.

Spooner is going to be big for BOS this season. I almost took him over Ehlers in my fantasy league. And you want him for Wideman? Go back to bed.
