Buffalo: Evander Kane and a 2nd Rd 2017

E. Kane dosent have a lot of value right now but he dose have a lot of skill and could really payoff if not they can send them to vagas Buffalo gets the better player and would bring a positive locker room presence.

NYR: Derek Stephan

Montreal: Thomas Plekanec, Sherbac, Noah Juulsion and a 2nd 2017/ 3rd 2017

Is this trade fair? Stephan would look good in Montreal.

I like the Nash trade, and the Stephan one I'm not familiar with the two prospects so I don't know. But I do like the Nash one, however I saw rangers are interested in Girgensons.
Do you thinks Kane and Girg would be a good offer for Nash?

As a Rangers fan I would take Kane ang Girgensons for Nash. Sure Nash will give you 35-40 goals but at some point you got to think about the future. As a fellow swede and Rangers fan I feel bad for Hank because he had his shot at the cup agains the Kings.

I think it's too much for Stepan especially with his 8 million dollar salary for this year.

Sherbak will probably turn out to be a decent 2nd liner.

And Noah Juulsen might possibly turn out the be a top 4 defenceman.

New York would take this.

I wouldn't mind Stepan as our 2nd line C, but i don't see the Rangers trading him after the Brassard trade. Replace Sherbak with Hudon and that would work.

Plekanec had 54 points last year, and has three 60+ point seasons in career

Stepan only 53 points and has never even scored 60 points

54 > 53 according to Corsi and math

Plekanec is even better in playoffs than Stepan, 0.57 PPG to 0.51 PPG
0.57 > 0.51 according to Corsi and math.
