To Anaheim: Hellebuyck, Heinola, 2nd Round pick, 3rd round pick

To Winnipeg: Gibson, Comtois and Strome

Winnipeg gets a starting goalie, with reasonable cost certainty, potential in Comtois and 3rd/2nd line centre in Strome.
The 2nd round pick offsets the age and cost certainty in goal..Heinola and Comtois is a change of scenery, 3rd round is for Strome and depth up the middle when we lose Shiffelle and Dubois

Just my opinion - Helly does not want to sign in Wpg, Gibs is an equitable return with cost certainty, (wpg does need to replace Helly regardless of the trade) Heny and Comt are a flip for promise that have both been untapped and Strome is an insurance policy - as Chevy does not know what he has to replace PLD/ Shieff. the draft picks I believe easily offset the gains in cost certainty in net (while staying competitive) and the insurance in Strome.

This trade proposal just makes the Jets much weaker.
They should trade Helly for a big young #1 d-man, if any are avalible.
Getting spare pieces and questionable futures won't help the Jets.

Yeah sorry flyer 123, it just doesn't make sense for the Jets to pay a premium when trading Hellebuyck to get older and worse.

Winnipeg will be looking for young roster or close to roster players with lots of team control.

Gibsons numbers have been steadily declining, at 30 years old and 4 more years on his deal I have a hard time imagining any value being there without retention from Anaheim. get that 6.4 down to 4.8 and maybe a team will bite, otherwise he's negative value.
