Lindholm’s cousin. Works out with Markstrom and Lindholm in Sweden during the summer. He’s going to fit in really nice.

I have a feeling there's another trade coming yet and it could be a big one.

Monahan, Dube and Valimaki are all expendable. Some combination of one or two of those players along with picks/ prospects would make a nice package for pretty much any player that's available.

I was going to suggest Hertl if the Sharks can't resign him but when I went to look up his cap hit I saw he resigned this afternoon.

Lots of other possibilities out there.

I agree Mox, Boone Jenner if he’s available would be great. Paul Stastny is great at faceoffs and still putting up points. Dylan Strome has turned things around and of course Pavel Zacha is decent as well.

Prospects Zary and Poirier could be additional sweeteners for the right player with term in return. Could also sell high on Wolf, Phillips, Kerins or Beck as well. Untouchables are Pelletier, Coronato, Kinnvall and Kuznetsov and maybe Mackey.

I'd pass on Statsny. Too old and declined too much already.

Wolf and Kerins are probably untouchable now. Mackey could be had if it's for a good enough player they'd be able to keep beyond this year. Chychrun

Veterans that are probably either not available or way too expensive to acquire but would be great additions.

Saying Kerins is untouchable is like saying Petrov is untouchable for the Oilers. I guess we’ll see in the next few years but seems crazy to think there untouchable.

Zacha or Dylan Strome would be better options long term, but with a 55% Face-Off Percentage, 17 Goals and 31 Points in 50 Games = 0.62PPG = 51PTS/ 82GP, Stastny is still holding his own. Sure he's not a $5-7.5mil/ yr type guy anymore, but he could re-sign for $3-3.75mil/ yr, which is a good price for what he puts up.

Heard Nick Paul is looking for close to $3mil/ yr to re-sign which seems steep for his 11G/ 0.31PPG/ 58GP. Copp isn't as good offensively as Stastny and will want $4.5-5.5mil/ yr+. I like Crouse, Soucy and Braun, don't know anything about Middleton. I don't see Chychrun, Miller or Hagel moving by the deadline and I don't really see the need for Hampus Lindholm, who will cost too much to re-sign as well.

Would love Giroux as a rental, but would like something longer-term in return for Dube. If PHI took Monahan and Dube for Giroux though, I agree, that would make the Team better and solve Cap Space issues for next season.

Unless CGY believes Rory Kerins in another Mangiapane. I agree, no player is untouchable, even Gretzky was traded, but untouchable to me means, it would have to be an offer they absolutely couldn't refuse.

Kerins is having a phenomenal year, can't see them trading him now unless they get a ridiculous offer for him and that's basically what "untouchable" means.

I’m sure they value him highly but I don’t think they hesitate to throw him in a trade. Like if they went after Klingberg or maybe someone with term like Chychrun there not adding him if they needed too?

Sure, maybe for Chychrun, Zacha or Dylan Strome = another young player with term, but probably not for a rental. I doubt Klingberg gets traded now btw.
