Habs add, Landeskog > Drouin.

He’s more consistent in all areas of the ice, plus the Avs won’t break up their top line of Rantanen-Mackinnon- Landeskog.

I do agree that the Avs could be a fit for Drouin, just don’t think Landeskog will be the piece.

It will likely be some combo of a roster player and picks/ prospects to even it out.

Montreal fans will think it is fair. But the Habs are trying to dump Drouin, they have to accept they won't get much for him.

Too much for an inconsistent Drouin. Its pretty bad when the Habs want to rid themselves of a homegrown player they gave up a great d-man prospect for.

Landy>>Drouin.
However, Drouin for a different package from the Avs would be good fit on their second line.

The habs aren't trying to "dump" Drouin. They're not selling low on him. The guy was on a 70-pt season pace before his last 15 games. The talent is there. If they have to sell low on him, I'm pretty sure they'd rather keep him and have a player who, at worst, has 50 points and at best has 70 points.
