MTL - Max Pacioretty (re-signed), Schlemko, 2nd round pick

MIN - Brodin, Coyle

1.) 21 Jul 2018 19:42:49
Yah this is a big no from Minnesota. Brodin>1 year of Patches.

2.) 21 Jul 2018 20:06:26
He just said resigned why would it be 1 year?

3.) 21 Jul 2018 21:21:59
Probably would have to be a better price than schlemko. Maybe Scherbak or lehkonen.

4.) 21 Jul 2018 23:21:58
Even resigned that’s still a no from Minnesota. Brodin is extremely underrated obviously.

5.) 23 Jul 2018 15:55:53
How can you be "extremely underrated, obviously. "? If it is obvious what he is worth, wouldn't he be rated appropriately? Maybe not extremely appropriately, but possibly, relatively accurately - if it is obvious.
Joking aside, I'd take it from Montreal - I think Miny would decline but not far off. Depends on what patches resigns for to be honest, i think that would really determine what the other pieces would be going back.

EDM - Klefbom, 2nd
MTL - Pacioretty

Breakdown : MTL needs a left shot to play with Weber.

EDM could use a perennial goal scorer in their ranks, that could very likely score over 40 goals if paired with McDavid.

Not sure that this is exactly what Marc Bergevin expected as a return but it is a realistic return nonetheless.

1.) 21 May 2018 16:29:40
im all for trading klefbom, but in a deal for a D man NOT a winger. I like Klefbom and the only reason I would want to trade him is because he has value and i would add something to him to upgrade a D man. Not trading bin for a winger, The D would be even more worse then. This is just so bad.

2.) 21 May 2018 17:09:04
Oilers need a RW but not more LW.

3.) 21 May 2018 18:03:53
@yup I was thinking EDM could then trade RNH for one of Anaheim or MIN's young dmen.

4.) 21 May 2018 21:13:57
Lol dumb for oilers.

5.) 22 May 2018 12:50:44
I'd rate he keep Nuge on mcdavids wing for at least one year. Find Drai a winger. Move Lucic to third lien wth Strome. Rotate some winters around to find chemistry with those pairings.
Trade Klefbom, 10th overall for an I phrased top D man.
And I don't think Minn or ANH really need a center in Nuge do they? Not ANH anyways.

MTL - Plekanec (50% retained)
TBL - 2nd round pick

1.) 24 Feb 2018 18:44:41
No from mtl unless nobody offers more. I'd say Raddysh for Plek 50 retrain is fair.

2.) 24 Feb 2018 19:00:30
Yeah, I thought too that he could probably fetch more. He's one of the only viable options at center on the trade market at the moment.

3.) 24 Feb 2018 19:09:25
No it’s not colt.

4.) 24 Feb 2018 19:13:21
Lmao You're not getting a prospect like Raddysh for Plek. Somewhere around a 3rd with retained money is at best what he brings back. Mayyyybe a 2nd.
Las Vegas got in on the brassard deal because Winnipeg was apperently in on him and they didn't want a division team to get brassard I read. Interesting if true. I can see Plekanec to Winnipeg.

5.) 24 Feb 2018 19:27:33
Conference rival not division. Jets and VGK are in the same conference but different divisions.

6.) 24 Feb 2018 19:49:23
I could see Plekanec going to a team like Winnipeg for a Conditional pick.

7.) 24 Feb 2018 19:55:35
I think Plek gets a second if retained. If not, a third. But Montreal would be stupid not to retain.

8.) 24 Feb 2018 22:16:50
@yup I mean, a 2nd from TBL is basically an early 3rd, so that's pretty fair if you ask me.

9.) 24 Feb 2018 22:38:42
Raddysh is nothing special lol. He is showing to be interesting and that is why he could fetch a good rental. Plekanec being 13 year experience and still good stats and leadership. At 3million? What a bargain?

10.) 25 Feb 2018 02:52:34
If he's nothing special. Then why do you propose to trade for him. Lol. Propose a trade then talk down the guy you want to trade for. That's so stupid. So funny when people say that crap.

11.) 25 Feb 2018 15:24:13
Yup I proposed for him because he has potential but not enough to be worth more then the too center rental for 2018 after Brassard is gone.

07 Feb 2018 16:57:36
WPG - Vesalainen, Petan, 2nd
MTL - Pacioretty

I think this is way more reasonable than the current asking price for Pacioretty. I'm sure MTL's GM would want more though.

1.) 07 Feb 2018 17:30:53
Dont think Bergavin would do anything without a first in it.

2.) 07 Feb 2018 18:11:01
Nope from the Jets. They have no need at all for Patches especially with the asking price.

3.) 07 Feb 2018 18:40:40
Vesalainen was last years first round for the jets 24th overall. And ranked higher so that's essentially a first second and prospect for pacorietty the only thing missing is the "warm roster body" in the ask and probably they intended a better prospect than petan.

17 Nov 2017 14:15:56
MTL - Brendan Gallagher, Mete
VGK - Maxime Lagacé

MTL needs goaltending amirite, Price needs to be traded amirite

1.) 17 Nov 2017 15:56:38
Fits teams needs. Great post.

2.) 17 Nov 2017 16:41:16
HAVE you watched a Montreal game mete alone wouldn't be moved for a back up goalie get off the crack bud.

MTL : Pacioretty
EDM : Nugent-Hopkins

Value seems fair, though I may see EDM adding a bit. What do you think?

1.) 02 Jan 2018 10:29:37
IMO Montreal adds.

30 Nov 2017 11:32:09
Apparently, according to Eklund, the kings have made a push for Pacioretty and have offered a "top quality defenseman " + a "top forward prospect"

Would that mean Martinez/ Muzzin + Kempe/ Vilardi?(I can't guess of any more top fwd prospects) for Pacioretty?

I think the more reasonable offer is probably Martinez + Kempe for Pacioretty

I think the question now for the habs would be : do they want to get rid of their captain and lose a 35 goal scorer when the team as a whole has trouble scoring goals to otbain a top pair defenseman and a potential 2nd line forward.

1.) 30 Nov 2017 12:53:18
I already posted this a few days ago. Read a few lines down.

Petry is getting seriously undervalued here. He's been playing like a 1st pair dman for the past 2 years. Habs pass, easily

I think Minnesota adds a little. Ceci's younger and has a higher offensive upside than Pateryn

@memarcusjoe if you think Drouin is garbage, then you must think Little, Morrissey and Hellebuyck are garbage, because they're pretty much in the same tier of players.

The habs aren't trying to "dump" Drouin. They're not selling low on him. The guy was on a 70-pt season pace before his last 15 games. The talent is there. If they have to sell low on him, I'm pretty sure they'd rather keep him and have a player who, at worst, has 50 points and at best has 70 points.

If they REFUSE the offer sheet? So techically giving Danault, Suzuki Brooks, 2020 1st, 2 First rounders, 1 second rounder and a third rounder? No thanks, that's way too much.
