WPG - Vesalainen, Petan, 2nd
MTL - Pacioretty

I think this is way more reasonable than the current asking price for Pacioretty. I'm sure MTL's GM would want more though.

Dont think Bergavin would do anything without a first in it.

2.) 07 Feb 2018 18:11:01
Nope from the Jets. They have no need at all for Patches especially with the asking price.

3.) 07 Feb 2018 18:40:40
Vesalainen was last years first round for the jets 24th overall. And ranked higher so that's essentially a first second and prospect for pacorietty the only thing missing is the "warm roster body" in the ask and probably they intended a better prospect than petan.

Fits teams needs. Great post.

2.) 17 Nov 2017 16:41:16
HAVE you watched a Montreal game mete alone wouldn't be moved for a back up goalie get off the crack bud.

17 Nov 2017 14:14:06
MTL- Max Pacioretty, 3rd
NYI - Jason Chimera, 7th

MTL NEEDS MORE SPEED

1.) 17 Nov 2017 15:57:10
Maybe a bit too much from NYI. Take the pic out.

2.) 17 Nov 2017 17:13:16
Yup km going to be honest with you you used to have great post and jokes. You were one of the reason I was going on here. Now you're an anti not troll? . Do you realize how low you have become bud.

3.) 17 Nov 2017 17:42:23
Awe. I've stopped to your level. I'm sorry bro.
I'm jus trolling you Havs fans. I still comment my same old good insight on all the their stuff.
I will have to give you big props for posting two good trades today tho, I'm impressed for once. Good work.

4.) 17 Nov 2017 18:46:49
I'm glad we have become close friends now.
You called me bud, I called you bro. More importantly you have posted two non delusional trade proposals today!
I'm so happy for us!

5.) 17 Nov 2017 19:50:07
Lol ya man for sure. Just realize that the tree a difference between posting one troll to send a message and posting 5-8 ones just makes you look like AN idiot. I know I used to do it and realize how pathetic it was lol. But ya man I know I used to be delusional. I realize now that trades have more then one factor if it's going to work. Has to be exactly what both teams need if the trigger is oulled.

6.) 17 Nov 2017 20:17:17
😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱😱
What. Just. Happened?!

I'm am shocked and extremely proud of you bud. Haha.

MTL - Galchenyuk
NSH - Yannick Weber

Time to get back Weber to the team that drafted him

I might or might not be doing my best yup impression

Mustafarr

1.) 17 Nov 2017 15:58:53
You've done great!
but we're just impersonating delusional Habs fans. Great times.
I can't wait for the daily Price trade. Or the daily Habs/ Oilers proposal!

2.) 17 Nov 2017 23:29:34
Oh so I guess I'm on the other side of the delusion spectrum since I'm also a habs fan?

29 Aug 2017 01:12:41
Apparently, according to Mike Bossy, Tavares turned down his contract extension (84M$).

NYI:
John Tavares

MTL:
Alex Galchenyuk
Brendan Gallagher
2nd round pick (2018)
2nd round pick (2019)
Conditional 1st round pick 2019 (If Tavares resigns with MTL)

1.) 29 Aug 2017 14:40:47
I'm a die hard jabs fan and you will more than likely have to throw Noah juulsen and it would be a sign and trade for sure Montreal would t give up that much without knowi he's signing or not.

2.) 29 Aug 2017 14:42:15
Throw in juulsen and switch 2nd for first and it would have to be sign trade for Montreal to give up that much.

3.) 29 Aug 2017 19:19:47
Deffinetly a lot to give up. As for adding Juulsen, i'd do my best not to add him. no he's not going to be a superstar. But Habs need all the defensive prospects they need. He will be a solid but not spectacular top 4 IMO.

4.) 29 Aug 2017 22:30:28
Tavares is great but he's not worth all that. Especially with the money he will demand. Habs would have to pay him as much as price. So you'd have three players making 30 mil?
Plus why would he want to go to mtl. They will be in full rebuild mode in 2-3 years if that.

5.) 30 Aug 2017 08:04:25
I'd rather Tavares go to a team like the Canes or Blue Jackets who have actually built properly unlike the Islanders.

6.) 30 Aug 2017 14:43:28
Montreal would be a great fit for Tavares as much as I hate it from a leafs fan. Championships are built off a great goalie, a stud D and a legit top center. That would give habs all of that. As for the money, I've said it before that going forward, every team is going to be paying their best three players 25-30 mill, just reality now. Some teams are going to pay 3 forwards 25+ mill and still have glaring holes in net and on the blue line. Theirs would be 28 mill in the best goalie in the league, a 27 year old superstar center, and a beast of a number 1 Dman who is one of the best leaders in the game. Not a bad way to do it.

7.) 30 Aug 2017 16:13:15
I like the way u put it Jim.

8.) 30 Aug 2017 18:56:32
Thanks Sosa. Ppl got to get past the 10 million dollar player thing because like it's been pointed out, Crosby percentage wise was making the same as mcdavids 12.5 mill. So if penguins had sid, malkin (making even more than sid) and still had letang, fleury, Neal (then hornquist) Kessel etc etc then it can be done. Who wouldn't like their team to have pens success over the past decade? Giving players 10 mill isn't the problem, giving the wrong players that money will kill you tho. I think price and Tavares are about the safest bets you can make to give that kinda cash to at this point.

9.) 30 Aug 2017 23:32:34
That didn't actually happen no numbers have been discussed.

10.) 31 Aug 2017 13:47:03
Depends who you read. Some say numbers weren't discussed, some say numbers came up but weren't the reason for him rejecting. It could have been 12 mill per, but he isn't signing it till they sort out some other things. Could be wrong but I don't buy for a second that you're a cpl weeks away from camp of the final year of your captain/ best players contract, you have been eligible to give him an extension for 3 months and numbers haven't even been discussed at all. I know it's the islanders lol but doesn't seem possible to me.

11.) 31 Aug 2017 17:06:21
There is ZERO chance this happens unless there is an agreement before hand that J. T. signs, and does so simultaneously. And relax, you don't need to through in Juulsen. This is a solif trade for both teams without Juulsen or the 1st rounder.

12.) 03 Sep 2017 14:54:25
After that trade
Price
for
Eberle
1st-2019
1st-2020
DeHaan
Ladd

Sounds stupid, doesn't it. just like the one up top.

MTL : Pacioretty
EDM : Nugent-Hopkins

Value seems fair, though I may see EDM adding a bit. What do you think?

Mustafarr

1.) 02 Jan 2018 10:29:37
IMO Montreal adds.

30 Nov 2017 11:32:09
Apparently, according to Eklund, the kings have made a push for Pacioretty and have offered a "top quality defenseman " + a "top forward prospect"

Would that mean Martinez/ Muzzin + Kempe/ Vilardi?(I can't guess of any more top fwd prospects) for Pacioretty?

I think the more reasonable offer is probably Martinez + Kempe for Pacioretty

I think the question now for the habs would be : do they want to get rid of their captain and lose a 35 goal scorer when the team as a whole has trouble scoring goals to otbain a top pair defenseman and a potential 2nd line forward.

I don't see the leafs doing that trade though I'm pretty sure Babcock would love a guy like Hjalmarsson on his team.

I like this one, not bad. PIT might need to add a little though if they want to dump Hagelin's contract.

I would trade Patches before the deadline. He'll have more value than during the draft, since he'll be able to help on two playoff pushes. Having a guy on a 1yr deal is way less enticing.

If I'm the canucks, I don't do the trade. Sure having a blue-chip prospect in Chabot is nice but, Demko's their future in between the pipes and without him, their goalie prospect pool is pretty dry.

No way Hurricanes accept this one. Add at least a 1st if you want the trade done.
