First trade is pretty crazy I actually don’t know what to say but easy yes for Ottawa imo entering a rebuild. If islanders are win now then yes but probs not.
As for the second trade no way from islanders.

No from Islanders on both, they aren’t contender and they should try to be, they should build through this draft and let their young players develop. That’ll give them a better shot at eventually winning a cup.

Islanders can already score with a decent forward group - need to work on their defense and find a solid goalie.

lool sens are def not doing that. Basically, their entire offensive core for draft picks that are far from being proven nhl players. BIG gamble, small benefit

How is there no HECK NO's from ottawa yet lol there's SOOO much wrong with this I don't know where to begin. 11th and 12th this year and anything later than 6th might as well be 2nd rounders.

Duchene just got Colorado a steal of a return no no way he goes dirt cheap like that let alone adding a 50 to 60 point winger in Hoffman to boot. not a chance ottawa should do anything but laugh at this.

Maybe change hosang to barzal and the 3rd to the rights to Bailey and the rights to Tavares and add Ryan to ottawa side basically swapping top lines if the 2 isle guys decide to resign with ottawa.

All those who disagree with this counter look at the facts Tavares won't resign with the islanders and Bailey prob goes where Tavares goes anyway. Ryan and Hoffman were starting to get chemistry with Duchene so why split them up?

Maybe add the condition if Tavares signs with sens they get 1 of the 2 players drafted at 11 or 12 back to make those who will say over payment happy.

It's basically add a overpay contract on ottawa side.
Add barzal to reach Duchene value. then use Hoffman to gain a risk in Tavares who may or may not sign as well as Bailey who without Tavares is equal to Ryan in some ways not as good. isles add the stipulat on the pick as back up.

Ur jokes are so funny because they don’t look like it
But that’s it I really think you were just trolling there
What your giving to. NYI wouldn’t be enough to get any of these players alone
@Nobias.

In what reality would that not be more than enough key habs?

Isle are losing both Bailey and Tavares one way or another. a smart gm don't let them do for nothing. sure a cost of barzal and a couple 1sts (one being conditional that it comes back if JT is signed) and the rights to 2 guys they're losing anyway but at least the return is a new top line that can compete the original proposal here is the REAL JOKE!

Keyhabs wish I knew what you were talking about. Or are you in the wrong thread thinking this is the tor Mon post I made lol?

Chemistry between the ottawa 3 = + value

Hoffman on great contract plus his 50 to 60 points per year and goal scoring prowess = +, +, + value

Ryan while over payed by like 2 million tops still puts up 40 to 50 points a year and isn't a risk to test free agency anytime soon = -, +, + value

Duchene is a 50 to 70 point guy who's been on team Canada and still has a year left on his contract and won't cost a Tavares asking price to resign = +, +, +, + value

Both 1sts in a weak draft class = half value at best

Tavares top 10 scorer who played for team canada and is a great leader but won't resign on the island and would rather test free agency and is a risk for any team after his rights = +, +, +, -, -, - value

Bailey is a 40 to 60 point guy with chemistry with Tavares but like Tavares won't resign and will test the open market and is also a risk to teams acquiring his rights = +, +, -, -, - value

Barzal is a stud after only 1 season at nhl level, Tomas Cheryl claimed that honor a few seasons back and was brought back down to earth level but still impressive hence the 1st going back if IT signs = +, +, + value

Chemistry between nyi 3 = + value

Sorry pal but the value for everything mentioned is there for both sides.

I won't know down and under value players based on the teams they play for.
