Edm: RNH, Ebs, 1st 2017, 1st 2018
Fla: Ekblad

Close? What would edmonton or Florida add to even out?

That's a whole a lot for ekblad, even though ekblad is a beast and great dman.
Probably Oilers need to send nurse in the deal.
Not sure if panthers make the deal. They do have a ton of forwards.

Doesn't really make sense for Florida because they aren't super strong on defense but are very solid down the middle.

Uh I'd like to say Florida actually has a pretty solid d core.
And no from both teams. Edmonton doesn't get any better tbh even tho Ekblad is amazing.

No chance from both sides .
1. Florida would be in big cap trouble taking on 12 mill.
2. There would have to be 2 Eckblad's coming over for that deal.
More realistic deal would be EITHER Eberle or RNH + 2017 1st
for one Eckblad. Maybe a minor D prospect like Simpson to
boot.
BOTH players AND 2 firsts. WAY WAY WAY too much of an
overpayment on Edmonton's behalf.

FT4A i'm pretty sure the value of ebs and rnh are way different. and the way edmonton is playing i don't think fla would want only 1 late first pick in a weak draft therefore i added the second 1st.

Ft4a, If Hall got you Larsson. Eberle and a late first doesn't come close to getting you Ekblad. I get Edmonton not wanting to give all that up, but realistically that's what it would take. A legit stud #1 21 year old Dman with size and offensive abilities locked in for 7 or 8 years. Going to cost all of that.
