So apparently Shattenkirk is off the trade block now lmao because the asking price was obviously too high and he would only sign with specific teams.

Rangers are dying for some younger dman, and Wild could really use some more scoring.

But that's the leafs, for one, and Oilers needed a dman. So just different teams, different needs. They are overall way better balanced, and Oilers never won anything when we had Hall, so if we never traded him the results might never change. He had to go regardless.
