Because he's a right shot, big, physical dman with a nasty streak. Plays PP, PK, 5 on 5, over 20 minutes a night and has an amazing contract that completes the oilers teams needs - Shall I go on?

Not a great comparison/ comment since Stralman is a very solid #2/ 3 guy. T. Ham is decent but overvalued on this site. No way Oilers would do this.

Stralman is one of the most undervalued players in the league. Definitely a top pairing guy and an awesome fit next to Hedman. Plays unspectacular, but highly efficient, never makes mistakes and drives possession big time.
