Chicago receives the 50th overall pick in the 2016 NHL Entry Draft, and a 3rd round pick in the 2017 NHL Entry Draft
Carolina receives Brian Bickell (0% retained) and Teuvo Teravainen.

I like it I really think TT can help the canes also bickell will be a good veteran presence for the canes plus Chicago comes out more cap friendly all and all good trade to me.

Real good trade for both teams, chicago saves money to resign Shaw and other rfa's. while carolina get a decent player in Teravainen and cap help to get to cap floor with Bickell.

I don't understand why they didn't just buy him out it would have cost them 1 million this year and 1.5 million next year I'd rather do that than trade tt.

Colt55 it isn't even bad for Chicago they got a 2nd and a 3rd for TT that's more than what I would pay. although I can't see tevuo being a top 6 player.

Teuvo has a higher ceiling then most of your Hab players. Teravainen will be a top-six forward for years to come. You obviously haven't watched him play.
