Montreal/Arizona

Pacioretty + Morrow + 1st 2nd 2018 for Ekman-Larsson, Oliver

Almost same cap hit and helps Arizona with the ever ending rebuild. (draft picks and a player they can also trade for decent picks).

1.) 04 Dec 2017 11:51:26
Unfortunately Arizona probably declines.

2.) 04 Dec 2017 16:36:07
Yeah, I was thinking about this trade too, but finally it's make no sense because OEL is the lone asset in defense for Arizona and they can get much more for him. He is a talented blueliner left D-Man and it's really rare in this league. It's like trading Weber.

3.) 04 Dec 2017 16:43:54
Probably declines? Lol.
Definitely declines.

Montreal/Philadelphia

3rd 5th 2018 for Filppula, Valtteri

This helps Mtl at center 4 the playoff push and helps Phi with cap release + picks for the rebuild....

1.) 03 Dec 2017 16:28:31
just because Philly lost 10 in a row. doesn't mean they're in a rebuild dude.

2.) 03 Dec 2017 16:32:30
Totally agree and Mtl don’t need more competition.

3.) 03 Dec 2017 16:34:05
I think Montreal needs to hold on to their picks and think a lot more about the future. Filpulla is not the answer to turn this team into a contender. unless it's part of a major trade, Habs should hang on to picks. cupboard is really bare.

4.) 03 Dec 2017 16:51:23
Montreal ain't a contender.

01 Dec 2017 10:13:44
Boston trades David Krejci and Paul Postma to Montreal for Shea Weber.

It gives Montreal a number one center(wich they need) and it solidifies boston Defense core. Almost same cap hit.

I know they are division rivals, but it feels both teams needs. Backes can fill Krejci role and Spooner can take Backes place...

I guess it could be tweeked a l ittle, but base wise what do u guys think?

1.) 01 Dec 2017 11:38:21
Lol why would Mtl need Krej
This is so bas for Mtl and so good for Boston
Or your a Boston fan or your trying to trooll.

2.) 01 Dec 2017 11:41:37
First of all, Montreal's defense would be crap after that. Second, Boston would not want shea Weber's contract.

3.) 01 Dec 2017 12:47:41
It's just as bad for Boston as it is for Montreal. Lol. Both teams say no.

02 Nov 2017 11:42:54
Galchenyuk 2nd 2018 for Dubois.

It would fill Mtl needs at center...

1.) 02 Nov 2017 14:04:43
Lol doesn’t fill any of Columbus’ needs bud.

2.) 02 Nov 2017 17:36:44
Im pretty sure Keklianian (sure i spelt it wrong lol) is all about dubios being the future #1 center for blue jackets. that's why he was drafted to replace Johansen.

06 Oct 2017 21:07:11
Galchenyuk for Goligoski

Fills both team needs. There might have to be picks added, but just a base trade idea.

What do u guys think?

1.) 06 Oct 2017 23:20:28
Nope from MTL. Galchenyuk is better than an aging Goligoski.

2.) 06 Oct 2017 23:51:08
Lol you’d think Montreal would want more.

3.) 07 Oct 2017 01:27:43
Wot. old guy for talented player

It's okay your knew.

4.) 07 Oct 2017 02:03:34
Lol. Montreal days No.

5.) 07 Oct 2017 02:12:42
Umm no from Habs. not even close sorry.

Not a trade proposal...

Can u Guys help define the value of galchenyuk. There seems to be lots of trade rumors (offers) on this site that only favors Mtl and galchenyuk value.

Thanks in advance it will help to get rid of ridiculous galchenyuk trade posts.

1.) 06 Oct 2017 16:31:18
I honestly have no clue what his value is. he is maybe the biggest enigma in the league. The guy has all the talent in the world, but can't put it together.
I personnaly don't wanna see him get traded. let's see what he can do now that Drouin is the "chosen one". Chucky can jus play. not as much pressure. he did have 30 goals 2 years ago and was nearly a point a game player before last seasons injury.
Whatever he would fetch, will be high risk, high reward deal. and I have memories of John LeClair and the Ryan McDonough deals that still haunt me.

2.) 08 Oct 2017 03:30:44
Somewhere in between what most habs fans think and what everyone else thinks.

16 Feb 2017 12:12:53
Since Julien signed with Mtl, do the Bruins get a compensation since he was still under contract with them? Ain't sure because they got a second rounder for chiarelli with the oilers?

Thanks the info :)

1.) 16 Feb 2017 12:34:36
No the compensation rule was abolished this offseason (I'm like 90% sure)

2.) 16 Feb 2017 12:35:04
There was rumor a while ago that this compensation draft pick thing was going to stop. The teams executives almost all didn't like it. Any word on this ending?

Bruins/ Predators

Krejci Subban Morrow 2nd 2017 (Oilers) for Ribeiro Ellis 1st 2017 1st 2018

Not sure if fair, but i guess u guys will let me know.

1.) 16 Sep 2016 03:52:14
preds in win now mode would proabaly do it. puts johansen 2nd line against lesser quality defensemen which helps johansen.

that being said

2 late firsts (win now team usually goes semi deep in playoffs) and ellis may not be worth under 30 top line good centre and decent goalie prospect.

its all up to if bruins tear it down and rebuild, tearing it down would mean trading rask and letting subban develop and trading chara, maybe bergeron if return from contender was good.

Was wondering about the rules of contracts and buyouts in this CBA.

Can a team trade the buyout rights they have on contracts?

Exemple: could a trade for the buyout of the kings richards contracts? Since it counts on the cap?

Also was wondering about after a buyout, can any team sign those players right away or do they have to wait to july first like regular ufa's?

Ty for the rely's and info :)

1.) 26 Jun 2016 13:02:22
i'm pretty sure you can't, I've searched it and nothing about it being legit has showed up - as well, if it was legit, many sites would be showing that the kings are "shopping the buyout contract of richards"

2.) 26 Jun 2016 14:34:30
You can't trade retained salary of buyout cap hits.

3.) 26 Jun 2016 18:04:46
can't trade buyout cap charges. and yes, once the buyout is fialized, the player is a UFA, no need ot wait until July 1 because the contract is already terminated unlike other contracts that run to July 1.

4.) 26 Jun 2016 20:07:15
Ty for the info :)

Boston Mcquaid 4 Calgary Stajan

Frees Boston from 2 years at 3 millions and gets a left wing for a year till they draft and develop a lw.

The oilers won't retain salary, they need to shed some for next year. too many players to resign and mcdavids contract will kick in.

I guess u can't handle ironi and sarcasm. Just be realistic, Galchenyuk is way overrated in that trade wich favors Mtl.
